MOD Pizza is a great place for building your own pizza. They offer plenty of pizza crust options as well as toppings! Their location is centered in the Dawson Marketplace next to the North Georgia Premium Outlets. It is a standalone location that has a wonderful exterior and a very clean interior area for seating. I visited here on the weekend and while it was busy, the staff was great at getting all orders in and completed in a timely manner. The pizza was extremely tasty and while I added a ton of toppings to my pizza, I still felt as if I could taste each and every one individually. For the amazing price paid, I will most definitely come back when I am in the area. read more

The pizza here is build you own. We liked that so the wife and I both could get a personal pizza with our own toppings. The taste of the pizza isn't earth shattering but is good. My wife said that the beef tasted a little funny so she picked it off her pizza. The speed of the pizzas coming out was pretty fast. We loved the lemonade and no name cake! This was our first visit ever to Mod and the server who built our pizzas was very helpful and friendly, as were the other staff. read more

It started out bad by an order taker trying to push a standard pizza And the just before paying, they inform us that the soda fountain is out of service. But they do have bottles, but you don't the get refills on bottles. And to top it off, the pizza just wasn't that good read more

NEVER I MEAN NEVER get this off doordash looks like my grandmas horse sharron made it i love my grandmas horse but honestly the most undercooked pizza ever tasted like i was eating uncooked dough. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. The young pepole working there look like they do not want to be there and have the worst attitude ever. Constantly giving me dirty looks like i'm trying to get a pizza? Also workers can NOT hear anything i said my name was junior multiple times and they kept saying adolf? adolf? adolf? i have a mustache and i think they were coming at me like jabbing at it. Food tasted fine, service was good. It just needs a serious cleaning. Hard to stay hungry staring at the thick layer of dust on the glass edge, nestled above all of the toppings you are about to add. read more

MOD Pizza - Place needs a serious clean-down. - Pizza Near Me - Dawsonville, Georgia

Ordered WARM garlic bread/pizza and an unlimited salad. The 'warm' garlic bread looked like someone forgot to pick up their order and so they gave me their crusty order. Box soaked with oil on bottom. Lettuce in salad was mildly brown, have no idea what the chicken actually was I think I found 4 pieces and surely didn't resemble chicken. Mushrooms slimy and still had soil on them. I mean at least wash them....soft cucumbers instead of fresh. Only thing really that was good was the dressing. Won't be back for a while. Nice young man at counter however. read more

I've always been a fan of make your own pizza and stopped by here after visiting the outlets. This place is located right next to Starbucks. I went with the build your own Mod pizza with white sauce, chicken, black olives and mushrooms. Unfortunately, they were out of onions at the time but hope they got it restocked! It took about 10min to get my pizza and it was cooked to perfection. They also did not hold back on the toppings. I was able to get about two meals worth out of one of the mod pizzas. Definitely recommend if you're in the mood for pizza! read more

Come here a lot. This time the pizza and salad were as excellent as always. But the soft drinks mix was off - way too watery. The service was just not up to past experience. Nobody said hello. Nobody smiled. Nobody made eye contact. One server mumbled. As a result, nobody got a tip. read more

Food is great- you can choose from a suggested pizza or salad or create your own. Ingredients are fresh and pizzas or salads are created in front of you. They offer fountain drinks or bottled. Limited dessert menu. Service is fine, mostly teenage staff. Ambiance is sit down fresh fast food. Great lunch or quick dinner spot. Prices have gone up quite a bit lately, and they are getting to be an expensive quick bite. read more

I've been a MOD pizza costumer for a while because their ingredients and portion size is good for the price, but today I've had enough so I am writing this review. It seems like when the manager was hiring for this job, the two requirements that had to be met were 1. Be a rude teenager and 2. Seem like you hate your job. Every time I walk in I am greeted by a greasy teenager who always acts like they're better than me and get annoyed when they have to do what they are getting paid for. The attitudes on these workers cannot possibly be worse. Today when I was ordering the toppings on my pizza I asked for pepperonis. The employee, who is a 17-19 year old male, looked back at me and said "I'll pepperoni your pizza" in a sort of gay manner. He repeated this for every other topping I ordered saying "I'll (blank) your pizza" every time. When I was done with my order at least 3 different employees asked me if that was all. When it was time to pay, a blonde girl who looks like the grinch wrung me up and I've never pressed no tip on a iPad faster. I ordered it to eat there but they gave it to me in a box so I decided to just go home. Good pizza, horrible service. read more

Great pizza. I loved their sauces - I got the bbq swirl and pesto drizzle and both tasted fantastic. Their crust was great too. It tasted like a naan made in a tandoor (clay oven) and was just the right amount of softness to crisp ratio. I also loved the fact that you can add any number of topics you want without the price changing - I had a lot of fun customizing my pizza. The flavor of the sauces can overpower the flavor of the toppings though, especially if you make your pizza vegetarian. So I'll likely be more careful about which ones I choose next time to get a better pairing. The other thing is that they didn't add enough base sauce or cheese to the pizza. This is the second time I ordered from here so I don't think that's a coincidence. Either way, it's a good pizza Id you want something a bit fancier and healthier in the area. The fennel seeds were a great touch too! read more

MOD Pizza - Pizza with a lot of veggies on it. - Pizza Near Me - Dawsonville, Georgia

pizza was questionable and the young lady at the front was quite rude. The ambiance was weird.

The MOD Pizza parlor in Dawsonville Georgia was a lot of fun. The line for ordering moved very quickly, and the prep people were very kind and efficient. As I walked down the counter following my pizza as it was being made, I asked for a little more sauce and a little more cheese and they were happy to oblige. The Mad Dog Pizza was very good and there was enough to share between two people (I shared it with my mother-in-law). So if you are a hungry person, it should feed you just fine. The only problem we had while we were there was that it was very cold inside. It is a large space, so I'm sure it's pretty hard to heat. We never took off our jackets. read more

Staff at Dawsonville location were very rude. Manager was hateful and seemed to be annoyed by my request for gluten free and glove change (due to allergy) teenage staff called my son out for behavior (he has diagnosed adhd and could not stand still while ordering ) and told him to stop - not their place to do so. very disappointing overall. Will not be going back. read more

Great MOD location! Came in with friends around lunch time on a weekday. Line was short. Staff was friendly and helpful. Ingredients were fresh. Pizza came out perfect! Loved the Marionberry Lemonade! Restaurant was clean. Inside seating area was pretty chilly, so opted for outside seating. Located in a strip mall so there's plenty of parking available. Would recommend. read more

This is pretty much choose your own adventure for pizza. If you go to Chipotle or Subway this is a similar concept of pick what you want. They have some suggested pizzas or salads with toppings or you can make your own. You tell them what you want from red sauce, pesto, you want some garlic, mozzarella or say ricotta. You can get chicken and sausage or even pepperoni. Want veggies in your pizza they have that too. So you pretty much are going to get what you want and if you don't like it it might be you what you put in it. They also have salads and a no name cake that is like eating a fresh ding dong if you know what those are and sometimes they have seasonal flavors. They have coke products and a reward program as well. read more

I'm not going to go into great detail on the food... but trust that it is great quality and diverse enough that there is something for everyone. The real reason I'm writing a review is because I am truly impressed how they handled an allergy issue. My 3 year old has a severe egg allergy. I placed an online order and in the comments mentioned the egg allergy and check cross contamination. I thought nothing of it after that point until after he finished eating and I put the leftovers in the fridge. That's when I saw the note on the paper under the pizza (picture attached). "Make on back line" and "glove change". I am so impressed and appreciative. He did not projectile vomit so you did a great job. read more

Outstanding pizza and we both loved them so much. Great pizza, very tasty, great assortment if toppings. I had the Mad Dog which is basically the meat special. My wife had a " Make your own", which is basically almost anything you want on it. Good generous portions of the items you pick. The price was the same for rack of our pizza's. I will let you know it will take a awhile to go thru the line. The process is similar to "Moes". Then it goes in the oven and you wait for your name to be called. Then the wonderful experience begins. Enjoy and have a great time. We will be back for more. read more

I went here today for lunch and order a regular pizza. It was very delicious! I do wish that the staff wouldn't have seemed so rushed. A customer in front of me ordered the same thing and she was asked if she wanted extra stuff on her pizza but I was not. My toppings were just thrown on top of the cheese. Besides that it was clean inside and everything you needed they had. read more

The woman I love adores this place or I would have rated less than three stars. Pizzas are small and I have yet to be served one that was cooked enough. Doughy pizza is lousy. Salads are enormous and well built with a huge assortment of goodies. They serve Coke products and the place is tidy. I am concerned that we were one of three tables at lunchtime on a sunny Tuesday. I do not like this pizza. read more

Great food for a good price. Easy to share a pizza with a friend if you're not starving. Love that the pizzas cost the same, no matter what you get on them. They may seem a little stingy with the meat, but you can ask for more and they'll give you more - no problem. You can make your meal as healthy as you want! - including getting a salad instead of a pizza. One person in our group got the cauliflower crust, and it ended up a bit too crunchy to eat on the edges. That's the only complaint, though! read more

I'm Italian so I'm quite a pizza critic. As far as flavor there are some very good Italian pizzas in the Atlanta area. However in this area this is one of the best pizza places I've ever had. The reason being is the price is very well and you can do all the toppings you want so you can customize the pizza how you would like. The cakes are delicious as well as the drinks. They have a blackberry lemonade and tea that I mix that is very good. And there are no name cakes are delicious!! The atmosphere is nice it's not too loud it's spacious and has a very relaxed and rustic feel to it read more

I go here for the pick your own salad that they mix for you just like the salad specific restaurants and love MOD's the most, better price too! My wife loves the pizza so it's a win win for us, hot pizza out of the oven ready almost as quick as the salad. read more

Pretty good fast food pizza. Same concept as Your Pie but with a much smaller selection of menu items. I got a bbq chicken pizza and it was really good. I found the pizza was appropriately priced but 2.50$ for a tiny desert was a little much. The no name cake is basically a more expensive Swiss roll or Ding Dong, very good nonetheless. Overall good experience but it was not very fast, even when they weren't busy. I probably wouldn't come back. read more

Food was great. We loved the topping options....and with no up charges. Chose the cauliflower crust which was good.

The pizza sauce was obviously off. These ingredients are expired. The inside is absolutely filthy. They give you your food in a Togo box because they are too lazy to wash dishes and have run out of clean ones. read more

Ordered through the mobile app at 5:56pm for 6:30pm pick-up. Arrived at 6:30pm and was told my pizza wasn't ready but was likely in the oven. Waited 10 minutes and was then told my order was never made. 3 minutes later was told the pizza was "found". I should've checked because I got home and the pizza was wrong. Ended up eating the mystery pizza anyway because I was too "hangry" at that point. read more

Extremely rude teenage staff and seemed to only be collecting a paycheck. Not having lids for cups is just one example of poor supply chain management. the young blonde haired female taking our order to the potential stoner I said excuse me to 5 times to get his attention to ask for cup lids was a bit much. The food was not bad; however, my kids would not eat the burnt pieces. Seriously, I would not return to the establishment based on the staffing, mentioned earlier my special needs son had an accident with his cup and not one employee even looked our direction for assistance. It was not like we tried to keep it hidden going to the napkin station 7 times. If I was a manger or the owner I would evaluate any future hiring practices. Side bar, don't let the online pictures full you it's false advertisement to say the company offers adult beverages. They no longer sell adult beverages. From soup to nuts definitely a thumbs down unless you're looking for zero service and cheap food. Additionally, the bathroom still has the prior patrons urine on the seat. Trust me this is a must stop place! read more

After we bought a place in Dawsonville, this is the first place we ordered out for supper. We ordered several different pizzas which were delivered by GrubHub. This is all due to the current coronavirus situation. The pizzas were delivered on time. They weren't the best pizzas in the world, but they were good. Good enough. My favorite, oddly enough, was the buffalo chicken pizza. It's not something I would normally order, but it was really nicely done. In fact, when I ordered again, that's the one I got. If you're in the area, be sure to go and check them out. read more

I have ordered from MOD several times. I've always used the create your own pizza option, and have put together some very ... unique ingredients on them. No matter how I switch it up, the pizza is always delicious. Things that shouldn't taste good together actually taste good together. This is the only place I want pizza from. Thanks y'all for great pizza. read more

As a first time visitor I was a bit skeptical, at first glance the aesthetic is very appealing. The menu seems very diverse, even though they have a pizza named the Dominic and they spell Domenic incorrectly. All that being said the pizza was excellent. It was absolutely cooked perfectly with a thin crispy crust. I found it to be very refreshing that you can add whatever items you want on the pizza at no additional charge. I also really enjoyed the speed in which the pizzas are produced. This is always an indication that the heat inside the pizza oven is that a proper temperature right around 900°. The pizza is self only took maybe 10 minutes from preparation to the service. I think it will take at least three or four visits to get a true gauge on the consistency of this place but I must say it does show tremendous potential. Change the spelling of Dominic to Domenico and you are golden. read more

I've had MOD in three states over 2-3 dozen times and this was by far the worst experience. It started off when we were trying to order and there was a gaggle if 4 employees directly behind the employee trying to take our order talking loudly about nothing. The music was loud and so we were screaming our order at her and she still couldn't understand us. It didn't help that she clearly has not gone through whatever the corporate training there is on how to take orders. We were trying to tell her that we were building our own three pizzas and she kept asking us what all we wanted for our toppings and kept messing up which pizza it was supposed to go on. When we finally did get down the line my favorite topping, the roasted garlic was raw. Not roasted, not in oil, just straight off the clove. So, we go up to pay and get drinks from the cooler and they were all hot. Not even warm, hot. To top it all off when I got my pizza the bottom was burnt black and it ruined the taste of the whole thing. I drove an hour and 20 minutes one way for this .... read more
