Tonight I ordered Mod pizza on Door Dash! I ordered an 11 inch thin crust pizza with tomato sauce, grilled chicken, mozzarella and feta, artichoke, spinach, roasted garlic, black olives, mushroom, and sliced tomato. I also ordered arugula, but I called the store and let them know I ordered and asked if I could have it put on fresh after it came out of the oven. They were very nice and quickly marked my receipt to do so! The pizza came quickly and was super delicious! I also ordered a side salad, which was very fresh and the dressing was really good. I love how you can choose whatever you want to go on your pizza and they make it right there for you... I also love that they are on DoorDash so I can stay at home and get the same great pizza. The once might MOD is down to one location in a college town like Columbia, MO and after this visit it is easy to see why. 30 minutes after the promised pickup time and they had at least 30 minutes before the pickup time to make it. They burned the crap out of one of the kids pizzas, but as I want to get the kids to bed before midnight, I didn't dare call them out on it. Kicker is they weren't that busy as there was zero foot traffic for the last 15 minutes of that half hour and only 5 walk-in orders total in the full 30 minutes. We all used to enjoy MOD and were shocked to hear of the locations closing. Now, I hope the rest of them shutdown before they go from a fond memory to a good riddance for every former fan. read more

So MOD Pizza was the first place I tried in town for a vegan pizza. I'm glad their crust and red sauce is vegan. They have an abundance of vegetable toppings and seasonings to choose from which I love. They do offer Daiya Dairy-Free cheese but there are unfortunately no plant-based meat options. I'm fine ordering a veggie pizza but I want the option to have a "meat" one if I want to. There are like 7 meat toppings and not one single plant-based meat. That's a shortcoming for sure. Other than that the flavors of the sauce and dough are delicious. It's true the pizza is thin crust but if you don't mind that I think you'll be satisfied. The price is always a positive factor as well. I normally put about 7 or 8 toppings on the pizza and it always cost about $9 total. It's the perfect size for one. read more

Honestly, I love MOD. Their pies are amazing. On top of the initial service- the guy (later to be mentioned) who "took my order" didn't ask me what I wanted at all...he took out a piece of dough and said an eleven right? And do you want red sauce? Well sir, if you would've let me tell you what I wanted from the get go we wouldn't be having these questions and holding up the line..and I ended up ordering the salad later on which I was supposed to do at the beginning, but was never given the chance to order? That being said... I paid $6.27 before tax for this mini salad that looks half eaten. After receiving this, the guy who seems to be the working manager right now, got mad at an employee IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS, telling her to watch her portion sizes. Well I'll have you know sir, the way she portioned that salad is how I would like my salad to be portioned, especially for what we are paying. Had our first Mod Pizza this evening. It was hot, had a thin crust (the way we like it) and good toppings. I had hot sausage, just hot enough to do the trick. My husband had pepperoni and was well-pleased. Had a small Caesar salad as well-good stuff. Will definitely go back. The staff was very friendly, service was good and the pizza hot and yummy! I thought I had all the pizza COMO had to offer, then I discovered MOD. Such a breath of fresh air when it comes to pizza. I love the unlimited topping and the crunchy thin crust. The ingredient are always fresh and the pizza is never greasy like "Your Pie". The portion sizes are perfect and they don't skimp on the toppings. The staff are always energetic, friendly, and happy to help. My only wish is that they bring back fire roasted tomatoes as regular topping instead of just seasonal (they are to DIE for)! read more

I have been to this MOD Pizza location in particular 3 times now and the past 2 times the service has been horribly slow! I understand that during lunchtime with so many people coming in that service might be slower; but, the most recent time I went was around 1:45pm. When I walked in there was only 6 or so people in front of me in line (with 4 employees working) and it ended up taking close to 20 minutes to even get to the front of the ordering line. I finally got my pizza after around 35 minutes of being in the restaurant. The pizza is always good and consistent, but the service at this location makes me want to drive elsewhere. read more
