It was a great way to bring black women together. The space is spacious and decorated with cute up-to-date decor. The space is perfect for a bridal shower, girls meet up, baby shower, celebration party and much more. It has plenty of room for enough guest. There are multiple areas/rooms perfect for setting up products or food. They event host uses multiple tables and rooms to showcase different products. You can also have food catered and brought to the location. From the outside it does not look to be so amazing inside but it is. It looks small from the outside and is actually a little hard to find. It is located on Mt. Adams. I would highly recommend hosting your next event here!

I booked one of properties owned by Red Whale Rentals via VRBO and it was an absolute nightmare…read more Due to Covid we had to cancel our wedding and do something small with just family. A couple months before the event booked one of their properties to for my siblings, husband, and I to stay in after our small legal ceremony. Most of our family is in Dayton/Cincinnati so we were having a small gathering at a restaurant Mt Adams. I noticed there was a max capacity set for people to stay over but asked if a couple family members could meet there before walking up the restaurant. They said no, they regulate with a camera the people coming in and out. This was fine, we made other arrangements. ONE WEEK before our wedding they cancelled our stay. They were completely aware it was our wedding and we had even discussed possibly booking other properties with them for the weekend. When I inquired about why the stay had been cancelled they simply said they needed to make more money off of longer stays and were only offering long term stays. Cleary they only care about themselves and their personal profit. They couldn't even wait one week until after our wedding to open it up to long term stays. I understand COVID was a hard, especially for small businesses like them. However, COVID had already ruined our original wedding and then they left my out of town siblings with no where to stay. At that point ONE WEEK before the wedding there no other rentals available in Cincinnati for 6+ people. If you value people over profit like us, don't use Red Whale Rentals.

Our experience with the office was great from the beginning. They always answered our phone calls and responded to our emails promptly. They were able to find a unit for us when we made a last minute change to the date, moving it up by one month. They were also able to find a garage for us. We arrived after a long 5 Day drive from Nevada and we were very happy to find everything we needed in our two bedroom, two full bathroom condo. It is indeed fully furnished, and with all of the amenities we needed to cook a meal that night. They even left cleaning supplies, laundry soap and softener, dish soap, etc AND a snack basket with two water bottles, a package of spaghetti pasta and a jar of pasta sauce for us! There appear to be 12 units in each building, and each building is three stories high (4 units on each floor). There is not an elevator in our building, however the main floor units appear to be easily accessible from the parking lot. We need to take the stairs up to our unit on the third floor, and there are stairs that lead down to the first floor. All mailboxes for our building are located on the main floor, as soon as you enter the building. There is an intercom system for visitors to use at the front door. (The front door to the building is locked and you must have a code to enter). The intercom system allows us to talk, listen, and to push a button to let visitors into our building. This is very handy to have for deliveries! The soundproofing seems to be very good because we've been here for four days now and we haven't heard any noise from our neighbors, doors slamming, etc. There's plenty of outdoor parking spaces available. We have a garage for one car (paying an additional $85 per month) and are using the outdoor parking spaces for our other two. This is a very dog friendly area, with a few dog waste stations (fully stocked with poop bags in case you forgot to bring some!) and it's a lovely green, grassy area to go for a walk with your dog. The location is very conveniently located to shopping (Kroger and Kroger fuel, Trader Joe's, Dillards, DSW...), restaurants (many good restaurants within a 5 mile radius), and not too far from the highway. The rental price isn't cheap, but we think it's quite reasonable for being fully furnished, with all of the amenities and supplies that they left us with. We are very happy with our stay here so far, and we highly recommend it for anyone looking for a temporary or long term furnished apartment in this area.

SUPER disappointed. We are a family of 7 with 5 kiddos ages 1-12... We came to see the Ark…read moreEncounter and Creation Museum (so lots of walking and corralling children around). We chose this BNB because the pictures showed a CLEAN, minimally decorated space, modern yet had the foosball and basketball set up which would offer additional sibling fun on our family vacation AND A KING SIZE bed for my 6'6" husband; perfect! Upon the drive up to this destination, I felt the pictures were a little misleading. The property itself seemed smaller than the pictures and so did the landscape, which seemed bigger for our kids to play around on. The basketball hoop is on the driveway where it is easiest to enter the home, so we couldn't park near the entrance at all (not great for transporting kids or groceries easily, loading or unloading). So we enter through the basement even though we have to have someone go through the front to open the basement door each time. This place was SO small...the 2nd bathroom was downstairs next to the foosball table near the backdoor, nowhere near the bedrooms. I have to admit I never thought I would have to check and see if the master bedroom with a king size bed had its own bathroom...learned a hard lesson here, but I will definitely check from now on! One SMALL bathroom with a SMALL bathtub for all 7 of us. The sheets were not soft to touch, all starchy/scratchy and the thinnest comforter, while all the pillows were huge and firm. We flew to our destination so we couldn't bring preferential home comforts at all. No rugs anywhere but under the couch, and when I moved the rug slightly there were ants and more dirt. Creaking floors upon every step, the stairs being the worst. There was so much dust and dirt everywhere in every corner and under every bed and table and nightstand, and our headboard was filthy...trash was left on the floor in random places. Trash bags were laid across one can, the others had trash bags in the bottom of the cans for us to do ourselves I guess...the kitchen was the worst. We cook on vacation so in each place of the home, as I made my rounds to 'live in' the space for the next few days, there were just worse and worse discoveries. Seriously, NO ONE CLEANED THIS PLACE. Food on dishes already put away in cabinets and drawers, the appliances were dirty with food...I was disgusted. The one small bathroom had pee around the toilet and all I did was take a damp cloth and wipe down the bathroom and clean it...I sent the host pictures and videos. The host, Jeremiah, wanted to send someone that night so for a couple hours I left the messes, but no one came. I made up my mind to clean up a bit and then they apologized and wanted to send someone the next day while we were out. Reluctantly, I agreed but I did want a CLEAN place to have my family. That evening when we got back NOTHING was cleaned AGAIN, only two trash cans had bags in them now. I couldn't believe it. It really ruined my stay. I regretted having chosen a 'company' (Neat Suits) to have an AirBNB with. The personal pride and personal touches of AirBNB individually owned and curated for the experience was BELOW zero here. That night I spoke with the host on the phone, completely upset and he apologized AGAIN and said the cleaners they hired were new, even though he knew that was not an excuse. All in all, he refunded the cleaning cost and one night stay. I did disclose that there was no way I could give him a good review for his place, and he said he understood and left it at that, nonchalauntly.

Horrible communication from the start. We agreed on the rent to charge, I found the tenant and did all of the heavy lifting for them. I find out almost 3 years into it that they've been charging my tenant an extra 2% for "payment processing", which is absurd. They also refuse to put this on the monthly statement; I see that to be pretty sketch and I speculate there is something shady going on there. They find every excuse under the sun to delay sending me the money they owe me every month, which they failed to mention in the beginning that the absolute earliest I will see the money is on the tenth of every month (which is okay, I've adjusted my budget accordingly, but I sometimes won't see it until the last week of the month with no heads up at all). It has taken them about 2 years to figure out how to send email notifications when a statement is available, so for a while I had to keep guessing on when to check the online owners portal (which is not user friendly at all) for statement and walk through reports. Glad they are finally caught up there at least. I've had countless issues over the last 3 years with them specifically, and every time I reach out to ask them a question it is a draining process for one reason or another. I'm glad we get a resolution, but most of the time the issue stems from them and it is me that is paying for it with my time.
