The tacos were good (these were the pork ones)... and we ordered on the phone and they were certainly extremely fresh.... But both orders came in one tray (which was fine) and then the flavor of the sauce was good but it could have used a teeny more sauce. Salsa could maybe use more spice too. Overall I didn't want to take more than one star off... very fresh for sure and healthy flavor and the pork was juicy but idk just lacking a little something something . I'd try it again in the future certainly.

The small location was a blast to visit and we are happy that we got pointed there. The food is authentic Mexican and was delicious. Would highly recommend and would go back for the food and the people for sure! So fast and friendly.

My siblings and I decided to try this restaurant because we all enjoy Mexican food. We were not disappointed! The nachos are excellent, plus they make their own chips! You could practically make a meal out of them! My brother had the steak fajitas which were amazing and came with fresh made corn tortillas. I had the Carne la Tampiqueña which is marinated steak with fried cheese which I really enjoyed and their refried beans are really good! Our server was very nice. She patiently explained things like orchata which my sister was unfamiliar with. It is a small restaurant with only six tables, but what it lacks in ambience, it makes up for in really good food.

The star of the show is definitely the carnitas, the salsa was great fresh with ok heat! The ground beef and shredded beef were mediocre. The hand made tortillas really set off these tacos. The price point was fair, as the ground beef and chicken were on special.

I'm a birria tacos fan. After a long weekend in Vermont, in our way back to Connecticut, we stopped in for lunch @ Springfield,MA. We found this place 5 minutes from I-91. Their menu offers birria tacos and other Mexican dishes. Parking is on the street. The place is small but very clean. We got there and right away the waitress offered us something to drink. We ordered two Horchatas, they were good, not too sweet. Also we ordered birria tacos , nachos and green enchiladas. Everything was delicious. I was excited to try the birria tacos and they were delicious, our nachos were crispy and the enchiladas were great. Definitely a good Mexican restaurant in the area of Springfield, MA.

We tried take out from here a whole back and I never got around to writing a review. We enjoy trying new places and liked Montezuma. I really enjoyed my dinner as it was very unique with the fried cheese and salsa verde sauce with the steak. Plentiful beans, rice, and homemade tortillas to go with it. The fiancé ordered a carne asada burrito which he also enjoyed. And last but not least we had a delicious churro that reminded us of big e mini donuts ---- which we will miss desperately this year... Cons: - we enjoyed the food but it's a little out of our way for us. Totally not the restaurants fault. - so really the only con I would say is that I wish the 'large' order of guacamole was a little more large. The salsa was also a little too vinegary for my tastes. However, I would come here again if I was in the area!

Super awesome food and quick service for 9 visitors. Foods so good and had vegan options too. Thank you so much for the service. We will return soon... we order a mixer of vegan and non vegan dishes and they brought them out with the quickness and cooked to perfection. Spacecakes Crew #eastcoastcannatour

I wish I got a picture of the churros there were several pieces and hot and crispy absolutely delicious! The chicken quesadilla from here is by far the best I have ever tried! The quality of the cheese and seasoning on the meat with onions and cilantro was so delicious! And they give a roasted pepper that is actually SPICY which was exactly what I was looking for! This is absolutely my favorite taco truck in Massachusetts and I would definitely travel to Springfield for it, gladly! Highly recommend.

There are a ton of holes in the wall that looks like someone had the intention of repairing and painting over and then just lost interest. Food? Looked really promising!! Burritos were pretty massive so I was pretty excited. They come out looking good, well prepared as far as the tortilla isn't coming apart. They did a good job putting together a burrito that wouldn't fall apart. But that's it. The rice is prepackaged, stale, fake yellow rice that has a weird, off putting flavor, I got carnitas and my wife got carne asada, neither tasted like anything at all. The carnitas ( a slow roasted pork ) honestly tasted like a pork tenderloin that had been thrown in a crock pot with zero seasoning. The bits in my burrito were grey and honestly off putting. I had really high hopes. Went out of my way because I have heard pretty decent things about this place. Saying I was underwhelmed is about as complimentary as I can be.

Over the years, I've vacationed in Mexico and worked for Big Sugar in Belle Glade, so I'm no stranger to authentic Mexican cuisine. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and a friendly "¡Hola!"--spoken w passion. Luckily, I know enough conversational Spanish to keep up, and I was seated near the front of the restaurant. The colorful menu practically told me what to order: Sopa de Camarones, Birria Tacos, and a fresh Jugo de Melón (watermelon juice). The waitress was incredibly welcoming and soon returned with a basket of warm tortilla chips and three kinds of salsa. That's when I knew--I had found the real deal. One salsa was mild, the second had a medium kick, and the third--an orange one--was pure fire . I laughed to myself and thought, "Yup, this is going to be good." And it was. All three salsas were absolutely delicious. Then came the food: a steaming bowl of shrimp soup and a plate of mouthwatering birria tacos. The smell alone made my stomach growl. The shrimp broth was rich and flavorful--absolutely hypnotic. I'd order it again without hesitation. As for the tacos? I smothered them in the green salsa and devoured them so fast, it was like I was drinking them. I was that hungry--and they were that good. This was the first truly authentic Mexican meal I've had since leaving South Florida. I'll definitely be coming back.

Y'all this was the first time since I've been up here that anyone has asked if I wanted them filled!! I had truly given up on filled churros but here Sabores is giving me life. Alright, so I dig in to my tostada and it's crunchy and well topped. The only recommendation would be to add more beans to my veggie tostada. Next the chicken... y'all this chicken did not die in vain. Mmmhmm this was well seasoned and perfectly portioned, and like any respectable Mexican entree this came with homemade corn tortillas. A recommendation for my main plate would be a little more chicken bouillon (knorr - porfavor) to the rice and I would prefer my tortillas cooked a little longer (burned around the edges - trust me) and everything would be finger lickin' good. Ooooh weeeee! Ok settle down now, we're coming up to dessert -- churros. She asked "would you like them filled" and I had to ask her to repeat herself... do my ears deceive me? Did she... did she just ask me IF I would like them FILLED?!!! Oh my word! Yes! A thousand times yes, but I had to play it cool y'all (as best as I could) and I followed up with another question... "what type of fillings do y'all got?" She said they only had one and although it was not the type I had hoped for (cajeta -- obviously) I still ordered the filled and non-filled for the table. Don't play yourself though, y'all know the filled kind is the way to go. Ok so my churros arrive... can you tell which part of my order I was most excited about? Yeah, me neither... ok so my churros arrive and they are hot, they are fresh out the fryer y'all. The sugar-to-cinnamon ratio was perfectly coating every bite of that churro (both filled and non (but keep up y'all we both know which one I'm describing). The warm filling oozed out of my very last bite but as a seasoned churro connoisseur -- I was ready for it. In summation, this place was good y'all. -My name is Jackie and I approve this restaurant.
