We ordered a carne asada super burrito in the evening with high hopes due to the 4.5 star ratings on Yelp. When we got home, it was a total disappointment. The super burrito which should've been stuff full of Carne Asada, beans, sour cream, rice, and guacamole, was full of rice. The Carne Asada meat was almost nonexistent, there were two beans, no guacamole, no sour cream. The burrito itself was extremely salty. We kept squeezing lemon on the burrito and it was still so salty. I'm not sure why it got so many great reviews when our super burrito was not a super burrito. It was terrible. Best torta in 707 in my opinion. I've come TWICE when they've closed because I leave my jon around the same time, and they've been soo incredibly nice. This food truck is parked in the CVS parking lot most days except Mondays. If they have a catering job or other event they won't be. The owner says they open at 4:30 pm. daily. There is no place to eat but food is served in paper plates covered in foil which is nice for on the go. I loved the carne asada tacos! So much so that the next time I went I had a carne asada burrito. I don't know - I prefer the tacos even though the burrito was okay. Loved the hot salsa on the side but they ration it. The day I went I was going to try the carnitas but they were out, and they were out of hot salsa. I'll go again soon and maybe try something different. Overall a good experience. read more

I'm obsessed with their ribeye tacos. They're so good. It's my favorite thing they make by far. Their other options are good, burritos, torta, etc. I find their carne asada slightly too salty, but the ribeye tacos are chefs kiss. The staff is always friendly. It's not the quickest place to grab food, but the wait is pretty worth it. Dont forget to grab a churro for dessert. I'm not entirely sure what their hours are. They sometimes seem a bit inconsistent, but I try to check their Instagram before going. I wish they were open more often, but they make a good weekend meal. read more

I recently moved into this area, and I'm so happy I found this taco truck right around the corner from where I live. I decided to try their super burrito of carne asada and first bite I fell in love. Their meat is so freaking delicious! I thought it was well distributed with all of the ingredients (rice, beans, sour cream, avo, meat) and although size wise it's not as big, because it's packed up with food it's very filling! The workers are friendly and they don't take too long to prepare your food. The wait time is about 15 minutes for them to cook everything. I also tried their horchata and it was okay, I think I've tasted better elsewhere, but it wasn't entirely horrible. I would get it again. A few nights ago, I decided to try one of their tortas, and it comes with complimentary fries on the side. When I tell you my mouth fell open when I opened my box, it did 100%. I couldn't believe how HUGE this torta was. Mind you, both the burrito and torta are around $13, and I believe the torta is worth more to get due to it being bigger in size and it also comes with French fries. The location of this truck offers plenty parking and although many people come to buy from it, there's hardly a long wait to order. Holy flavor, Batman! Hubbs just went because I was craving late night Mexican food with good flavor and this was the only spot in our area that was open with great reviews. I must say, I totally agree! We live about 15 minutes away and our burritos we're still hot. You can tell this burrito was made with L O V E. I got an Al Pastor and hubbs got a carnitas. He's putting the babe to sleep, so I'm struggling to save him a bite to taste because I want to eat it all! Honestly, I haven't eaten a whole burrito in one sitting in a long time, but I just might right now. The meat is flavorful - not too salty and not dry compared to other late night options in the area, the rice is seasoned and the salsa on the side is the perfect amount of tangy. Stopped here for the first time the other night. My husband and I both got super burritos with asada. The burritos were a good size & had a good portion of the various ingredients. The asada was a little salty but still good. I'd probably try a different protein next visit. The chips they served us weren't all that great, cold and stale. Welp whats this is my favorite taco truck in the Fairfield area. They did give me asada instead of alpastor on my burrito, but it was still tasty. Asada was slightly on the salty side. & their rice isn't your authentic Mexican rice it's got a hint of Indian, not necessarily bad just different. Not sure if these are the same folks that ran the identically named (now extinct) brick and mortar spot on Oliver, but it was way less than impressive. My order of two tortas was about $25 after tip, which I wouldn't mind if it was spectacular food and didn't take 20 minutes to prepare with no other customers around. The meat in the chicken torta was way over seasoned and excessively greasy. The Carne Asada was better but both sandwiches were about 90% bread and 10% meat. That being said, the bread was actually really good and I liked the crisp of the panini press on it. It was actually better than the meat, but just too much of it. The additional toppings were pretty sparse. One tomato slice on each half and somehow they were all those funky butt ends of the tomato with the yellow core...a personal pet peeve of mine. They used pickled jalapeño for the sandwich but served a legit grilled jalapeño on the side. Not sure why they wouldn't use the real thing on the sandwich itself. It said there was supposed to be avocado on it, but I didn't see it. And there was like 2 or 3 small red onion strands (not slices) on each half. Also thought it was a little weird they didn't make them with any refried beans or sour cream. As far as the side of fries goes, they were pretty soggy and without much flavor. The one thing I founf excellent was the hot sauce, even though it wasn't offered and I had to ask for it. I love supporting local vendors and do so as much as I can because Fairfield has a lot of great spots, especially for Mexican food, but experiences like this make it difficult. read more

And this burrito was packed with so much flavor from the rice to everything in the burrito and good ratios of all ingredients and the meat was so sooo well seasoned. The week before I also had tried their tortas and omgg when I opened the container I had to rethink life and just think about where has this truck been my whole life like this food truck is nothing compared to the other food trucks in Fairfield. And they are a family owned business and they are all super nice and work really fast and most of the time they are really busy so it could take up to 25 minutes but it's worth the wait for the fresh food . And it's entertaining to watch while you wait they have a bunch of lights, stickers and electric signs and speakers so they play music while you wait and I've seen lots of people like to dance to the music as well. I had just worked a 13 hour day and let me tell you that this couldn't have hit the spot any better. The prices are very reasonable, and the crew was extremely friendly. I ordered a Birria Super Burrito, some Pastor tacos, and a horchata. I absolutely loved the tacos and inhaled them, the pastor was delicious and juicy, tortillas fresh, and the salsa roja was nice and spicy. The burrito was an experience in itself which blew me away. It was nice and hot to the last bite and full packed of delicious flavors. Everything about the burrito was just right, flavors, textures, heat, amount of ingredients, all of it. Food was amazing! Me and my crew (nurse, paramedic, and EMT) ordered tacos, a burrito, and quesabirrias, and everything was delicious. Their meat is good quality and tasted fresh, which is so important to me. Their service was great. We were still on shift during a busy night, but they were nice enough to make our food as fast as they could - we sincerely appreciated that. Friendly and courteous!
