The donuts are soft, chewy and they always have really delicious flavor options to choose from. I can order from the kiosk and get my order fairly quickly. They are super addictive and definitely worth a try if you've never had them. Just be sure to eat them shortly after purchase though. They lose their crispy exterior if you wait too long! read more

We were wandering around this part of Seattle, and we instantly noticed this place, the wait was a bit long, and we had to wait outside, but there was some indoor seating, and we ordered all of the flavors to try, and our favorite ones were the passion fruit, berry cheesecake, and ube fruity pebbles. I love me some Mochinut! I was lucky to receive a dozen for my birthday, and I made a stop by during a random night in SLU. I wish they had locations on the Eastside, although I am hearing some buzz about an Eastside location in the works! What I love about Mochinut is their variety of flavors! I've had flavors including, mango, melona, pistachio, tiramisu, and Vietnamese coffee just to name a few. Their flavors rotate every week, so I highly suggest checking their IG for their most up-to-date offerings. In my experience, my mochi donuts were still good after a couple of days, (in case you're trying to practice self-control and not eat a dozen mochi donuts in one sitting). During my last visit, I drove around and found street parking. One thing to note is that the Mochinut storefront is not the most obvious to spot from the street. You'll have to look around to find their logo, which is up some stairs, right next to Kai Market. If you're craving some mochi donuts, or have never tried them, go pay Mochinut a visit! Looooove their donuts!! Finally tried them having heard such good things and their mochi donuts are super chewy. All the flavors were good but my favorite was the maple bacon. They switch their flavors every 3 days or so. The donuts weren't too sweet too and all of them really tasted great. We also tried their drinks and for the milk tea you can't adjust sweetness but it wasn't too sweet so that was good. The tiger sugar boba was really good too. I love the cups they come in, so cute!! Mochi Nut is located about 20 mins away from the Space Needle in Fairview Ave. in Seattle, WA. I visited the mochi nut location in Cupertino and their flavors were super bomb. Unfortunately, that place is no longer there but I found out there was a location in Seattle so I was super hyped to go there and get my hands on these donuts again! I was not disappointed at all at the location in Seattle and the strong flavors really stood out. I got their matcha, taro with fruity pebbles, strawberry shortcake, Vietnamese coffee, churro caramel, and tiramisu. A lot of the flavors were very present and I really liked the flavors very much! Their matcha mochi donut was bitter, strong in flavor, and delicious! I definitely tasted matcha in the donut and I always love the soft chewy texture of a mochi donut. The matcha one definitely is a must get for me because I always love matcha and this definitely satisfied my matcha cravings. The taro with fruity pebbles is definitely a challenge. I tasted no taro and all I tasted was fruity pebbles. Taro is pretty tricky to work with in terms of baking with it and developing that taro flavor you want. I definitely would like the taro to be stronger to match with the fruity pebbles. The strawberry shortcake was strong and I loved the strawberry taste in the mochi donut. Definitely strawberry didn't come here to play because you really get that hit of strawberry in that Mochi donut. I loved the added rock candy (forgot the white stuff on top) but it did add texture which made the strawberry flavor pop out more. Overall, delicious strawberry shortcake Mochi donut. The Vietnamese coffee was yummy and strong. The coffee was so present that it was almost like I was drinking Vietnamese coffee. The tang of the coffee made the mochi donut more present and the coffee flavor was strong but delicious! The churro caramel was yummy as well. It definitely tasted like a churro and loved the cinnamon coating on the donut. It reminded me of the pop churro's churro I was eating. The churro donut was sweet but did taste like a churro. My only thing was they said they added caramel on top of the donut but I didn't get a whole lot of caramel. I would either add more caramel so you get that caramel flavor or take it out completely and just call it a churro mochi donut. Overall, delicious churro mochi donut! I also got to try their tiramisu donut and the tiramisu flavor was strong as well! It was rich and bitter from the coffee and coco powder. The sweetness was also subtle which made it perfect to counter the bitterness. Overall, this donut didn't disappoint! Overall, I really love their delicious mochi donuts and the staff was super sweet and super friendly towards me. I loved my experience at mochi and maybe I'll try more of their flavors in the future. I've been dying to try this place since it opened and finally got a chance today! The location is perfect as there's options for street parking or the garage beneath the building. Lots of other restaurants are in it (including the MBar). The donut flavors they have available are displayed on a try near the register so you can see what they each look like. I've thoroughly enjoyed watching them post their weekly Instagram updates for their flavors and seeing all their unique offerings. They had just gotten a fresh new batch of the donuts that we chose so we were all really excited to try them! We went with the churro, cookies and cream, matcha, and blueberry. Before we left, we took an awesome pic of the half dozen we purchased in front of a wall made for Instagram photos! And the extra 3 with strawberry, Nutella and mango. Nutella was quite heavy. Strawberry Mochi has actually dry strawberry pieces on it. Overall, the taste of Mochi donut was A OK! I've had way better tasting everywhere else. The donut was quite dry, quite bland regardless of the glazes and flavors and fruits. It was a ok. Felt extra dry! There was no chewiness to that Mochi. They all look quite pretty though. But a ok. It's pretty close to where I live in south lake union so I might try them again if they introduce new flavors but otherwise... wasn't worth the visit. I've tried Mochinut three or maybe four times now and I stand with my previous review. The doughnuts are okay, and the bubble tea is way below average. I tried the matcha tea this time and it was also just super milky with very very little matcha flavor. I'd probably be downgrading my rating to, two stars but their packaging is adorable and they have something new on the menu that did catch my attention--the Korean rice hotdogs! I've been wanting to try these since I first saw them pop up in the international district but haven't made my way over there. I got the most basic one 1/2 dog 1/2 cheese sprinkled with sugar cuz that's what they recommend and I like to try things that sound super different to what my westernized tastebuds are used to. I've been to this place a few times. It's inside a big building which has a bunch of shops inside of it. You could get a donut and then head up to Mbar if you wanted to. Recently tried Mochinut and OMG, these are probably my new go-to mochi donuts. The bf and I recently picked up a half dozen to try. We decided to try all 6 flavors--raspberry, ube, matcha, churro, Nutella, and yogurt. When we got home to eat them, we were pleasantly surprised by the texture and flavors of the donuts we got. Compared to Dochi in Chinatown and growing up eating mochi donuts in Honolulu, Mochinut has a chewier texture, closer to mochi consistency, which to me, makes them so much better! They're also a little cheaper as well! Double bonus! Our favorite was the raspberry. It was so flavorful! The added raspberry sauce that they drizzled on the donut made it so delicious! I would probably get an entire dozen of just raspberry for myself! We thoroughly enjoyed all the flavors they had available that day and will definitely be back to try more in the near future! Genuinely surprised by the quality of boba here. After several visits i noticed improved consistency in the donut craftsmanship (amount of frosting and decor, sometimes the frosting was barely sitting on top of the bread). I tried their ube fresh milk tea with brown sugar boba and my god! It didnt just taste like powdered taro milk tea, i could actually taste the ube flavor. I love mochi style donuts. The texture is chewy and soft and doesn't feel heavy or dense like a regular donut. They opened at 10:30 am and I walked in 5 minutes before they open and there was already a long line, but service was fast. The 6 flavors I got were strawberry, churro, Nutella, chai tea, mango, and black sesame. The flavors were not too sweet which is what i like.. I think they rotate their flavors everyday because they didn't have the ube or raspberry drizzle I've seen in other pictures. But I like that they rotate their flavors more frequently. I don't think dochi rotates theirs that often. The pricing was about the same if comparing both mochi donut shops. read more

WAY better than dochi. Delicious flavors and texture is perfect. I still have my favorites in Hawaii and Fills bake shop in California, but Mochinut comes pretty close!! The staff is also very friendly. I've come in 3 times in the last week because it's so close to where I work LOL but each time there was barely a wait. All times were around 1pm. The one thing I will comment on that I won't let affect my star review is that all of the staff was wearing gloves except for one. I didn't have a problem with this at first, but when I saw her handling papers and touching other items and then right after saw her touch a container full of almonds with her bare hands to place on the donuts, I just had to say something. I felt like a jerk, but tried to mention it in the nicest way possible. I have tried almost everything on their menu and I really enjoy coming here. The staff is always friendly and ready to help if you have any questions. You typically order on their huge touch screen Ipad so you don't need to interact with anyone if you don't want to. The Korean hot dogs are a nice treat when you want something cheesy and fried.
