I needed a quick energy boost after long hours. I treated myself to some mochi donuts and a cold Thai milk tea. The staff provided wonderful service.
What a great location! Very clean, staff is on top of it. Food came out quick. It was delicious! What more could you want? I definitely prefer this location as all of those factors are what I look for in a restaurant.
Okay so I have been to mochinut before but today was my first time stopping in at this location and let me tell you the difference was absolutely shocking! The employees here were much more attentive and efficient in their work. They were extremely helpful. They brought out the food quick. They also kept the restaurant in pristine condition. They obviously take pride in their work and make the experience just that much better than the other location. The place was so spotless and organized. I was really impressed. The food came out super hot and delicious. I never knew that the Mochinut name could live up to this standard. They even make the donuts look so much better and tastier. Safe to say I won't be back unless it's this location .
We visited here in early May, for my sister's bday! It wasn't too busy when we arrived, but as y'all may know, trying to get a family order for 6 in can get hectic. The cashiers were very polite as I tried to line everyone up to order. The music was fun and had my wife and sisters bursting into song as they recognized them. I got the hot cheeto half and half (half hot dog, half mozzarella), a honeydew boba smoothie with tapioca, and a churro mochi donut. The dog had a good cheese pull! Crumbled hot cheeto covered the entire thing and I had no complaints; I love spicy. Hot Cheeto coating can easily get soggy, but the added crunch and spice was very welcome. I would get a churro mochi donut again! Classic flavor. I love a honeydew boba as it's sweet without being overbearing. My siblings all got a mix of korean dogs with hot cheeto, potato mozzarella, and crispy ramen being the top 3. The birthday girl actually got a cheese pull off the potato mozzarella that spanned the table, probably about 2.5-3 feet! If the cheese didn't almost touch the table, she might have gotten more distance LOL The final verdict on the dogs was, from best to least favorite, hot cheeto, potato mozzarella, crispy ramen. The mochinuts were all delicious. My siblings all had similar tastes so we had a couple repeats in flavors. Churro, strawberry cake, sugar, and chocolate glaze with a pocky garnish! (Pardon if I butchered any of the flavor names, some were seasonal at the location). Cheers!
Great location, and convenient way to order on the tablet before the cashier. Our order came out extremely fast too! The inside has minimal seating, but it is pristine and minimalistic, yet lively and colorful! Parking is very easy too
Really nice! My friend and I stopped by after brunch at Lova Cafe and he asked what this spot was. I told him they sold mochi donuts and his eyes lit up. We ended up having "dessert" here instead of at the cafe. The cafe was clean and there were no other customers inside so the wait was nonexistent. After peering at the selection behind the glass, we chose three for a box of three and split one in the shop. Mochinut's flavors change daily. We got biscoff cookie, strawberry (with a pocky stick!), and churro flavored. We split the strawberry mochi donut and it was perfect. Soft and chewy, and not heavy at all. I let my friend keep the remaining two donuts, but I know from previous experiences at another location that the churro flavor is also pretty great. Anyway, this location is way outside my normal stomping grounds so I don't see myself stopping by regularly. But it was still a pleasant surprise to see one of these.
The Mochi donuts are pricey at $3 per piece. The flavors change weekly. They recommend that you follow their Instagram on the current flavors. We tried the caramel funnel and melona. The melona was surprisingly delicious. I love the texture of these Mochi donuts. They also have a small menu of drinks to choose from with boba and jellies in it. We tried a mango and taro drink. Besides Mochi donut and drinks, they also have Korean corn dogs. There is a sign that there is a short wait time for the Korean corn dogs. The staff was friendly and suggested what drink and donut flavor to get. There are a few tables and chairs to hang out while you enjoy your drink and Mochi donut. Overall, we'll be back in the future to try other flavors of Mochi donuts.
It was empty when I went so service was fast. Corn dogs are made to order. They were fresh and the hot Cheeto one was a bit messy with all the crumbs falling off. The potato one was very very filling, cheese was cheesy and had great cheese pulls, hotdog was all beef (I think) and was amazing. The sauce bar was a great addition + the contactless kiosk. Was a bit pricey but everyone should try it out for a snackie snack.
While I love the original mochi donuts from Japan, Mochinut is as close as you can get here in San Antonio. However, it has been highly Americanized in that flavors are super sweet. They are super pretty, but the flavors definitely over power the the taste and texture of the mochi donut. With that said, prices are crazy high for a donut. And because the donuts are just out in the open instead of in a closed display, they don't taste as fresh. I prefer more subtle flavors such as a simple syrup glaze. The Korean corn dogs were pricey, but definitely nothing compared to authentic Korean dogs in terms of flavor. Either the batter wasn't made right or the dogs weren't fried long enough, but it didn't hold its shape. It was on the greasier side and the dogs started to lose its shape after it was fried as well as slide down the stick. I am use to the dogs having a sugar-cheese powder dusting on the original, but they didn't have that option at all. It was also Americanized like the donuts. We ordered a few and some of the cheese didn't melt properly even though it was golden brown on the outside. Service was great, but it is a long wait for the Korean dogs. I do like the cornflake one as it was a bit sweet and savory. I like the hint of sweetness on something fried and heavy. Overall, it's a fun and new addition for San Antonians. I would definitely recommend to the locals and anyone who's open to trying something different. Would I come back, probably since this is the only place so far with Korean dogs and my son loves them, especially the hot cheeto one. But, it'll be awhile before I return. I probably won't be interested in the mochi donuts though as they are super sweet for me. They do have different flavors so I might come back for the doughnuts depending on the flavors. I took away 2 stars for the over-sweet doughnut flavors and the greasiness of the Korean dogs.
Fast service, good selection. The donuts had a great chewy texture. Peach flavor was off the chart. The chocolate and coconut was tasty as well. Will definitely be trying them again.

Drinks and donuts are almost always ready immediately ready,please do expect a 10-15 minute wait for any of their rice hotdogs. Seating is quite limited so I would not suggest sitting in for large groups. Overall lovely store with great food and drink, and great for photos lol!
First time I have tried this place and love it as these Mochi donuts are not that sweet in the case.of most flavors which makes them a very nice dessert. They are perhaps a little denser that your average donut and you can break off the little bubbles to eat one piece at a time which makes them great for sharing. Tried some interesting flavors - coconut milk on particular was delicious! Will definitely return
First time visit on a Saturday and they open at 11 AM. Rather late in my opinion... Customer experience:: As others have mentioned not the most customer friendly environment. Ordered all 6 flavors of the day to get a sample of Mochi donuts 1/2 dozen at about $17.00 + with tax. The donuts were just ok, nothing to " wow" me at that price point. Texture is expected from mochi and the topping (flavor) that was tasty was the Lychee... I asked my family how they like it? " good" but again they stated not worth the price point and being the customer environment not too friendly, unlike customer experience say at Crumbl Cookies, where you get a warm friendly greeting and I gladly pay for the premium cost of their cookies. Would we go back again to Mochinut? Maybe Note: Being Filipino, we are very family with mochi since we often make baked goods with this ingredients.

Mochinut is such a fun and welcoming spot! From the moment you walk in, you feel genuinely welcomed. The space is a great size with plenty of room and lots of tables making it easy to hang out with friends. One thing I really appreciated was seeing how supportive and welcoming the owners are to the kids in the nearby neighborhood. You can tell they're comfortable letting the kids come in after skateboarding outside, grab something to eat and drink, and hang out with their friends. It gives the place a really nice community feel. And of course, the food! The Korean corn dogs are made to order, so they're super fresh and have that amazing cheese stretch! The mochinut donuts were made to perfection - fresh, delicious, and such a fun treat. I also have to mention the drinks! I love my drinks sweet and they made mine exactly to my liking with absolutely no judgment. Give me all the sweetness! Between the fun atmosphere, fresh food, sweet treats, and community vibe, Mochinut is definitely a place I'd come back to. read more

As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the cashier and placing our order was quick and easy. While looking for a table, I noticed how clean the floors and tables were, which always makes for a better experience. I also liked that the shop was small and had a quiet atmosphere without a lot of noise. One thing I really enjoyed was the display case showcasing all of the donuts, making it easy to see exactly what you were ordering. I chose the 3-donut box, and each donut tasted true to its flavor. They weren't overly sweet, but had just the right amount of sweetness and flavor. The drinks were also excellent. I loved the chunks of Jell-O, the boba, and the perfect level of sweetness. Overall, everything was flavorful, fresh, and enjoyable, and the service was great as well. read more
Decided to stop by because my sister wanted a snack before we headed back home. We ordered a potato corn dog with half cheese and half hot dog, two Hot Cheetos corn dogs with half cheese and half hot dog, two mangoes with jelly, and a mango chai tea with boba. Everything came out super good! Next time, I'll probably go with a full hot dog instead of the half cheese option, and I definitely want to try the potato corn dog for myself. One thing I really liked was that the inside was a little darker than most places. It was pretty hot outside and we'd been out all day, so it felt nice to come in, cool off, and relax. The guy taking our order was very friendly and patient. He greeted us as soon as we walked in, answered our questions, and provided great service. The tables were clean, and there was plenty of seating available. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'd definitely come back. read more

Grand opening of the @mochinut_sa Stone Oak location today. I had heard of the craze when the first location opened and had to check it out today. I tagged 3 friends to their Instagram post and got the $10 deal for 1/2 dozen churro mochinuts. Hot and fresh! So delicious! My husband tried the original rice hotdog which was pretty big. I tried a bite to see. I think I'll bring my Dad to try it out. Glad there's a location close by! read more

I love this place! The Thai milk tea was good and the corn dogs were amazing. This is the first place i've tried something like this and it became an instant favorite The service is good and the do flavors change every day which was pretty cool. Highly recommend read more
My daughter and I stopped in randomly after passing by and were impressed. We both got teas and while mine was REALLY sweet, it was delicious. All of the Mochinuts were delicious and I will definitely be back for them. The prices are high so it will be a special occasion place, not a place we frequent. read more
The mochi donuts are so amazing! They are way more light than normal donuts and have amazing flavor. The inside is a weird vibe. Definitely a good place to get food Togo. This location unfortunately does not have soft serve. read more

I've only ever tried the donuts here so my review is for those. We've been to the other location off I-10 and enjoyed the donuts so we were happy to see one closer to us in the Stone Oak area. They have 6 different flavors of donuts and flavors changes daily. The shop was decorated in a cute way with lots of flowers on the walls. There was one person working at the counter who was very polite and worked on the orders for us and people in front of us quickly. Mochinut donuts are made from tapioca flour, the texture is soft and slightly chewy inside which I enjoy because it holds the flavors nicely. We had churro, chocolate and vanilla flavors, all were delicious and half eaten before we left the parking lot. I want to go back to try the rice dogs and milk tea and of course have more delicious donuts. read more

The food here was good, however we were served the wrong order and had to wait an additional 15 minutes. They didn't let us eat the wrong order, and instead threw it away. Once we got the correct order, we found the hot dog to be under cooked and doughy in the middle. The boba drinks are here are quite tasty. Also really enjoyed the sauces on display to use with the hotdogs. Good food just poor service. read more
The teas and donuts were great. They were very tasty and full of flavor. The K dogs were extremely good. The dogs were set at a good price. The donuts were a little expensive but did taste good. The services were awesome and very friendly. read more

Ordered Korean corn dogs and a 4 pack of mochi donuts. The mochi is already made, just packed and the corn dogs take about 15-20 minutes to make. They tasted really great! Donuts taste more funnel cake like, less like a donut dough, however the toppings were delicious! Have a decent seating area and love K-pop music. read more

I saw this recently on Elder Eats and thought I had to try. First of all, the customer service is subpar. Don't expect friendly faces. Second, you can buy single pieces at 3.25 or bundle. I'll skip all the nonsense and say just stick to Shipley's. This chocolate drizzle was very bland. I think adding a bit more powdered sugar may have helped, but not really worth it. The churro one, however, did have more flavor as did the toasted marshmallow. I've had worse. There are other items on menu, such as teas, smoothies and rice hotdogs, but bring a fork if you are dining in. They do not provide and some of these get messy! read more
The Grand Opening of the NEW Mochinut on Stone Oak Pkwy was so much fun! Mochinut Donuts are a truly unique experience that is a MUST for all foodies & sweets lovers! They combine Japanese Mochi with American Donuts to create a light pastry with an almost creamy inside. It's chewier and lighter than a cronut and beats a cake donut hands down! It's not sickening sweet, so that means we can eat MORE! Highly recommend trying these! They have different flavors daily. The plain & churro are my favorite but they are all delicious so you can't go wrong. read more
We drove by a new Mochinut location near our house so we had to check it out. My family loves donuts so we were eager to try these Rice flour mochi "donut" type treats. We have a few donut bakeries near our home and pay @ $10 for a dozen so we had a bit of sticker shock that the mochi donuts were $30 per dozen (or $3.00 each). This is closer in price to gourmet cupcakes or mini Bundt cakes so we figured they must be extra special. Honestly, they were okay ... I agree that the texture is more chewy, almost reminded me of bread pudding but they were quite plain. In some of their photos, the donuts are topped with little candies or treats but the only one similar was the strawberry. We purchased six donuts which came to about $17 with tax. They sell milk teas but they were all out of boba. read more

First time! We tried everything! Well, almost everything. We tried the ramen rice corn dog and half potato mozzarella corn dog. O M G. These were very tasty and freshly made. They have a variety of condiments that include dipping sauces such as mustard, ranch dressing, ketchup, sweet n sour sauce, bbq sauce, and spicy mayo. We also got an assortment of donuts. Oh, and we got fresh mango cream and cream honey dew with boba smoothie drinks. Wowsa. Wish this was closer to my house. Wait. Maybe it's a good idea that it's not! Super tasty! The young lady was helping us we very personable and helpful. We will be back soon! read more
