    Chicken and turkey sandwich
    Hoa L.

I ordered the chicken, cheese, and ham sandwich. The taste of the bread and sandwich was excellent. You order at a counter and they deliver your food, although sometimes they don't know exactly who in your party ordered the food. My colleague received the completely wrong order and it was remade for her. Otherwise, mine was fine although the prices are a bit high at over $9-12 for a sandwich. There's plenty of dessert options. Open seating with 4-person or more tables. Note that tables cannot be moved as they are attached to the ground.

My cinnamon roll didn't look like this.

First time trying the pastries at Kneaders. The cinnamon roll was a disappointment. Maybe they have a new baker but it looked nothing like the cinnamon roll reviewed 6 months ago by Raven R. I pointed out that it was lacking icing when I purchased it. The cinnamon roll is not gooey, buttery or filled with enough cinnamon. The almond croissant tasted better but didn't have the flaky layers of a croissant.

Sourdough, no bleach. No bromide. No enrichment!

Huge thanks to Eli for answering flour questions on the sourdough bread. I am so pleased you use quality flour! Thank you so very much for your time today and answering my questions.

Definitely a new favorite!!! Kneaders has a great selection in food and drink. And the staff is always so helpful and nice when ordering, I visit here with my friend and they always remember her order. I visit every time I'm in the area and I absolutely love it.

My friend has been talking about this place for a good week by now so finally we came to have lunch & the walk way to get the register was really cute! They had little things you could buy and on the side they also have aprons! On the other side there is tons of bread and baked goods! Everything was so tempting to get. I order a cheese, egg and bacon croissant for $6.99 & my daughter for a kids meal that was a ham and cheese sandwich, chocolate milk, apple sauce and a cookie for $6.99. Personally I don't think that's bad! I personally loved my meal & my kid liked her but you know kids they only eat a little bit and never finish so I tried her sandwich and oh my goodness that bread and everything... DELICIOUS!! The cookie was also amazing!

    BLT with Chicken Noodle Soup

One of my favorite spots in Stone Oak. My usual is the Thai Salad with Chicken (not pictured) but this time I decided to get a BLT and a soup. So delicious. The bread is to die for. I will come here again and again until I try every item on the menu!! Not only is the food incredible, the staff is always so nice and friendly. Such a warming experience whenever we come here - from the food to the service to the atmosphere. 10/10

The ambiance is great. I love the concept of buying a gift and having a gift wrapping station. The employees are nice, no complaints there. It's the preparation of the food and the taste. It's not quite like the one in Utah.

    Caramel cheesecake and carrot cake

I came upon Kneaders a while back, during my endless search for an excellent cake and coffee combo place. Somewhere, where both coffee/cake, stand out and can be in enjoyed in the company of like minded individuals. Although, Kneaders is not quite that place, their coffee tends to be always be more on the lukewarm side, they do have a good selection of goey, yummy desserts. During this last visit, they did not disappoint. They had rolls, cakes and a slice or two of pie. I ended up with a caramel cheesecake and a small personal sized carrot cake. Got them to go, which was a quick and easy process. As for Covid safety, the place was clean, not many people and service was quick. They also have curbside for those who prefer. So the search will continue, but this place will do in a pinch!

No trace of clam in the clam chowder. Basically potatoe soup with maybe an eyedrop of clam juice. Crack chicken sandwich was soggy.

We can turn something as…read moresimple as grabbing breakfast into an adventure filled with laughter, conversation, and, of course, great food. This time, our morning led us to Pan & Coffee, a bakery and café I picked after spotting its impressive 4.7-star Yelp rating. Pan & Coffee is located on Stone Oak Parkway in San Antonio and proved to be every bit as charming as we expected. From the moment we walked in, the café felt warm, inviting, and bright. The open, airy layout, high ceilings, and oversized windows bathed the space in natural light. First, the bakery case immediately steals your attention. Rows of beautifully crafted pastries behind perfectly constructed glass cases practically beg you to take one or three home. Smile. Their selection includes flaky croissants, colorful conchas, sticky monkey bread, cinnamon rolls, fruit-filled pastries, and other freshly baked treats. My brother and I couldn't resist ordering a cinnamon roll and a lemon pastry, and both were absolutely delicious. The pastries were generously sized, making them perfect for sharing or keeping all to yourself. For breakfast, I ordered the avocado toast while my brother chose one of their breakfast sandwiches. Both dishes arrived with generous portions and were fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Pan & Coffee also shines when it comes to its beverage menu. In addition to traditional espresso drinks, they offer creative specialty lattes infused with Mexican-inspired flavors, including the Dulce de Leche Latte, Brown Sugar Latte, Café de Olla, and the unique Concha Latte. I got the Brown Sugar Latte, which was warm and super flavorful. Great bonding with my big brother and first time experience at Pan & Coffee.

The latter I waited I would say at least 25 minutes for. No, that's not a typo. You could argue I should have asked for a refund or just left, but I already felt committed at this point. I watched them batch up 10 drinks at a time, work on them a bit, walk away, come back and do the next step, then walk away again. Batching drinks makes sense for an order. It doesn't make sense for the whole restaurant. People who ordered 15 minutes after me were getting their stuff at the same time. Drinks at the end of batch were fresh and hot, drinks at the front were of course sitting for that entire time. I could see they were busy, and I prefer to not give people a hard time, but at minute 20 I finally asked if my drink was still being made. I got a shoulder shrug, then she checked and then it was finished and handed to me. No apology for the wait. Apparently I should have asked 15 minutes prior Again, the pastries and coffees are fine. None of them are worth the time spent waiting for them.

Sitting arrangement is mainly inside but there were like 2 tables in the sidewalk area. Although eating outside may not be as enjoyable as it is right next to the parking. The inside is spacious and they get an A+ for decor and vibes. I locked a corner table with enough space for my laptop and my breakfast. There were a couple of pillows that made my sitting area more comfy. I was a bit cold due to the AC being in full blast inside but having the pillows helped keep me warm actually. Ok so the food. The prices were great. They will give you a buzzer for when the food is ready and you pick it up at the counter where you order. There is no service to table. I waited maybe 10mins max for the drink and the food to be ready. The food was clean and it tasted so good. Especially the beans. I am not big on refried beans but the ones here were so good. I feel like I wanted more haha the fruit was also super fresh and it was a nice touch to the breakfast. I had their matcha latte. I ordered it in a to-go cup because I drink slow and I didn't wanted it to get cold (yes I ordered a hot drink lol it was cold inside). Overall, I would love to go at least one more time before I leave Texas again.
