I came here thinking it was just another location similar to the one in Metairie. Well, technically, it is. However, this one is run quite differently. This one is more of a coffee shop vibe inside. There are couches in addition to the tables. There are also all kinds of pastries available. I enjoyed a cappuccino with my Dubai chocolate and beignet donuts. The beignet was just ok. The Dubai chocolate (the first Dubai chocolate item I've ever had) was amazing! They also have loyalty punch cards! I'll definitely visit them again!

This was my first time trying mochi donuts and they were so good. They change flavors weekly. I tried beignet, strawberry shortcake and king cake donuts. I also had a brown sugar milk tea. Everything was delicious. The donuts have a light texture.

This was my first time visiting Mochinut, and it won't be my last. I stopped by to try the Viral Dubai Chocolate Strawberries through a Yelp Elite perk, but there were too many more delicious items available for me to just pass by. The staff were very helpful and sweet when helping me choose my treat. I decided on the cookies and cream mochi donut, and it was amazing!! I was so sad I didn't get another one. But the texture of the donut was soft and chewy and the cookie and cream glaze had the right amount of sweetness. I can't wait to go back.

Today was my first time trying the viral Dubai Chocolate Strawberry Cups. After trying it today, I can definitely see the hype in it! From the pistachio/chocolate flavoring to the crunchy texture, it was worth a try. The price is normally $12 per cup, but I was thankfully able to try it out for free via a Yelp event. Service was nice and quick and the inside was really clean and neat. Overall, a good first experience here at Mochinut in Harvey.

3 mochinut for $10. Flavors change every week!

Another new Mochinut location! This one is on Manhattan Blvd. in Harvey, the convenient strip where all of the stores you need to visit are found. A perfect dessert spot to swing by after you're done shopping! The shop itself is really spacious. I'm hoping they fill it with more stuff (have to cut them some slack though, they're still getting their bearings together!) So far, they have some games available to play, an old-school arcade game, an air hockey table, and some books for entertainment. Mochinuts are donuts with a chewier texture (mochi) than what you might be used to eating. They're really yummy, and they swap out the flavors each week (plus, each location offers different flavors). The mochinuts are reasonably priced at 3 for $10 or 6 for $18. Because mochinuts are made partially with rice flour, they're lower in gluten than traditional donuts. Maybe a good option to try if you're a sensitive to gluten! They also offer soft-serve ice cream, mochiballs (basically mochinuts with filling inside), rice dogs (similar to corn dogs, but with the outside breading being made with rice flour), and various drinks. I got to try 3 mochinuts complimentary with the Yelp Elite Event perk, but I also purchased an original rice dog (they come with various toppings) and a Biscoff mochiball. This would also be a great place to pick up desserts for an event or as a gift because the packaging is SO DARN CUTE!!

We visited the second location of Mochinut in Harvey and it is just as equally cute and consistent as the one in Metairie! As always, service was quick, donuts were great and the atmosphere was welcoming. There was a few games our babies played with like the Pac-Man machine and foosball table as we hung around.

Coffee, ube, "Thai tea"

Donuts are pretty good. Tried the original and Samoa. Light, airy, lightly chewy as expected of mochi donuts. Drinks I have tried at the location include the coffee, Thai tea, ube and milk tea. - Thai tea - I was not a fan of this drink. I personally love Thai tea, and this, was not it. It looks like Thai tea, but tastes nothing like it. Sweet, thick and tastes almost like the instant packs of Thai tea sold at the Asian markets. - Ube - spot on, perfect, would not change a thing. - Milk tea - standard, spot on milk tea flavor. Slightly sweet, but tasted fine once the ice diluted it some. - Coffee - by far, hands down the mvp. Strong, sweet with a bite. Highly recommend the coffee to anyone and everyone. I have not had a chance to try the Korean corn dogs yet, but am looking forward to it. The girls working the front counter were very friendly and polite. They took care of me promptly and when they didn't know an answer to a question or how to process a transaction, they immediately asked for assistance. There was a hiccup with my first visit to this location, but management reached out immediately and corrected the situation. This type of customer service is very appreciated. Overall ambiance to the store is nice, bright and clean. There's ample seating, a nicely decorated wall to take photos, manga in the back, an air hockey table and a pac man machine. It's a fun and welcoming atmosphere, but do keep in mind, this place can get very loud very quick.

This event went great. We tried one of each donut and thought the flavors and textures were perfect. This was my first time trying Mochi donuts and can tell the slight difference in texture. I actually love the density of the dough and thought it paired well with the toppings. Not to sweet at all. My favorite was probably the M&M one, though you can't go wrong with any of them. Will return as it would make a great gift for an office or birthday!

Hotdogs on the stick!

Omg I wish they had one uptown in the city they're so needed in my community the kids will drive their parents crazy to get to this place. The donuts are awesome, the only thing is it's not a regular donut it's and donut not with an amazing twist with different toppings and the hot dogs on the stick is mind blowing Heck I was excited when I was introduced to this location. The service is exceptional and the ambiance is nice please get more games! This place is amazing!!

We were across the river and I found this spot via Mapquest. It is a small, quaint, hole-in-the-wall type place. Limited selection but everything looked delicious. She even offers a bag of doggie treats! Though Eclair is in the title, they didn't have any available when we went. However, I was easily talked into trying the creme brûlée crepe cake as a substitute for the eclair. We left out of there with half dozen macaroons, a gold encrusted oreo cupcake, the crepe cake slice, and a bag of doggie treats. The macaroons are simply delicious, flavorful and colorful. The oreo cupcake was a hit, and devoured quickly. My son and I split the crepe cake and it was surprisingly light. I wasn't sure what to expect with the multiple layers but was delightfully thrilled with the taste. And true to form, it had the torched sugar crusted topping. Definitely worth returning for more. Aladdin also devoured his doggie treat with gusto. One thing to note, the crepe cakes have to be ordered ahead of time and purchased whole. We were fortunate to have been able to sample a slice. I will definitely be placing an order soon. Overall, a superb find and well worth the trip. I will be returning.

This unassuming spot in a strip mall was gorgeous inside. And it serves coffee, pastries, ice cream plus y'know candy. AND they roast their own nuts, spices and I guess coffee beans. There were definitely folks hanging out and enjoying a Turkish style coffee... I guess either the caffeine doesn't hit them the way it does me or they had no plans to sleep. The candy isn't labeled 100% correctly but you kind of know that gummy worms are not gummy strawberries. I tried an assortment bag of gummies and some of chocolates and the price was by the pound. Re got some freshly roasted unsalted cashews and they were delicious! Parking is easy in the strip mall lot. And as you step in you definitely leave Louisiana and step into another country.

They also carry some gummy and chocolate varieties, some spices, some boxed coffee, some Middle Eastern pastries. Only some things were labeled with either what it was or the price of it, so that was a little disorienting. I was surprised to find a cafe and gelato bar inside. The gelato flavors were incredible. I settled on popcorn caramel and baklava in a waffle bowl. An employee said that everything was made in-house. The price was standard considering that all was made there. The service was weird. I kept getting served after people who'd gotten there after me. My ice cream scoops were significantly smaller than my boyfriend's. Returning isn't high on my list of priorities, but I'm glad I tried them.

The Vintage - New Orleans, LA…read more The Vintage on Magazine Street was our very first food stop in New Orleans, and it turned out to be a great way for my wife and me to start our trip. From the moment we walked in, I really liked the atmosphere. The place has a cool, relaxed New Orleans vibe with a little bit of an upscale café feel without being overly fancy. It's the kind of spot where you can come in, sit down, enjoy some good food and drinks, and just take your time. Of course, we couldn't come to New Orleans and not start things off with beignets! We decided to go with the Fancy Beignet Flight, which gave us a chance to try several different flavors. We got the raspberry, s'mores, and Chantilly. They came out looking almost too good to eat, covered in powdered sugar with all the different fillings and toppings. Almost... because we definitely ate them! They were warm, sweet, messy in the best possible way, and a fun introduction to our New Orleans food adventure. For my meal, I ordered the Italian Panini with the truffle Parmesan fries. The sandwich was packed with meat, cheese, and flavor. Looking at that cross-section, they definitely weren't being stingy with the fillings! The bread was toasted nicely, and everything worked well together. The truffle fries were another highlight. They had plenty of seasoning and Parmesan and paired perfectly with the sandwich. I also grabbed a small iced mocha, which went really well with the food and especially the beignets. One thing I really enjoyed about The Vintage was the atmosphere. The interior has a lot of character, from the marble tables and vintage-style flooring to the bar and pastry display. It feels like a place that belongs on Magazine Street. It was comfortable enough that we didn't feel rushed and could just enjoy being in New Orleans together. The service was good during our visit, and everything came together for a really enjoyable first meal in the city. Our bill came to around $48 after tax and tip for the two of us, and considering we had a sandwich, upgraded fries, drinks, and the beignet flight, I thought it was a good experience for the money. Most importantly, this place gave my wife and me a great start to our New Orleans trip. When your first stop includes a loaded Italian panini, truffle Parmesan fries, iced coffee, and a whole flight of beignets, you know the trip is starting off right! Definitely a place I would visit again. Great food, great atmosphere, and a great first taste of New Orleans. 5 stars from us!

Still a New Orleans Gem - Visitor since 2018!…read more I'm updating my review as of April 2026 because it's important for visitors to know that The Vintage has absolutely "still got it." My last review was in 2020, and I'm happy to report that the quality and atmosphere remain top notch. Whether you are looking for a morning pick up or an evening wind-down, this spot covers all the bases. Their beignets and coffee are a classic must have, and I can personally vouch for their Americano. It is consistently well made and delicious. They also have a great selection of beer and cocktails if you're looking for something a bit stronger. What really sets this place apart, though, is the hospitality. We have always had great interactions with the staff, but a special shout out goes to Jimmy, whom we met this past week. He was incredibly kind and hospitable, truly making us feel right at home. Jimmy if you are reading this, THANK YOU!! If you want a spot that feels authentic, welcoming, and consistently excellent, put The Vintage at the top of your list!
