easy to locate-inside the Clarksville Commons (ample parking) donuts & other goodies made fresh daily- they offer classic & seasonal flavors (&also have gluten free options!) everything reasonably priced (~$4 donut) the donuts were perfectly chewy, with crunchy delicious toppings- a lot of reviewers compare the dough to funnel cake & I agree- there was a soft doughy texture- personally I liked them more than a traditional donut because of the lightness my favorite was the biscoff cookie crumble- such a creamy, dense yum friendly staff & can't wait to try some more flavors when we go to events at the Commons

I tired the oreo mochi here and it was ok. It had a nice chewy texture and flavor to it. But, I did find it a bit more oily then other places I've had mochi donuts at. It didn't taste quite as airy and light.

I decided to grab some lunch at Clarksville Common Kitchen and saw they now have mochi donut stall. I saw they had holiday mochi donuts and they looked adorable so had to get them. They were super cute, but taste was just ok. I think it was too much frosting and other stuff that was on it which was too much for me and also my husband through t it was too oily. I think I'll probably try their regular flavors next time.

DELIGHTFUL!! Tried the churro, english toffee & chocolate Donuts - not as sweet and not cakey but chewy! Highly recommended!! Update - went back a second time and was disappointed To see gnats in the case with some of the doughnuts.

I'm always down for Mochi donuts. Something about the crispy outside and soft, squishy and mochi inside is the perfect combination! So after I ate lunch at The Common Kitchen, I knew I had to get mochi donuts. The case had about 6 flavors to choose from, and on the weekends you can buy 5 mochi donuts and get 1 free. One donut is $3- around the same price as other mochi donut places I've tried. I got the ube and matcha. I ended up eating them 2 hrs after purchasing. While the donuts were good, and I love that they came with unique toppings on each one like a matcha pocky stick, I wish the donuts weren't as greasy as they were. Overall they were still good tho and a nice dessert addition to The Common Kitchen! I'll have to go back because I saw they sell ube cake slices in a small refrigerator too :)

I'm so glad there is a new mochi donut place at the Common Kitchen! I tried all 6 of their donuts and they're fantastic. Crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, flavorful glazes with fun toppings like cereal, cookies, and pocky! Love it. Will definitely come back. The only downside is they're a little pricey, but it is "buy 5 get 1 free."

I didn't know how good Mochi Mochi was.. until I tried it myself. I rarely say this but eating their donut made my day. Of all the places I've tried, Mochi mochi is the best I have had thus far. The donut is so chewy and fluffy. The topping is sweeter yet PERFECT. I will be coming here from now on.

Donuts here were just average in taste. None of the flavors were very distinctive. Service is nice though

Shoutout to our local community hero, CJ !! Special: Buy 5 and get 1 free!

Shoutout to our local community heroes! Today I met the magnificent CJ ! Attentive, friendly, and personable! They had a special of buy 5, get 1free. He helped me pick some awesome flavors! I got 3 ube, 1 strawberry, 1, orange, and 1 matcha. I told him that I haven't had these since I moved back from Texas. I love the chewy, soft, and fun mouthfeel! The flavors are always a great addition to the experience. Any flavor you choose on any given day would be an added bonus to the fun gluten-free free donuts! That's right! GLUTEN-FREE! Mochi is usually tapioca or rice flour or combo. Fun to eat, but not fun to make in my opinion. I'm blessed to just have the hard work done and I get to do the fun part. My oldest daughter went straight to the matcha doughnut. I knew she would gobble it down before even savoring the flavor. We love the textures!! So as I predicted, I asked her what was the flavor like, she said she didn't know, because she ate it too fast :) It seems to have new flavors or alternating flavors, so hopefully we can continue to enjoy our favorites and try new favorites every time ! Love it!!! No greasy heartburn afterwards! And that is a win win for us!!

Super fun and tasty! Maybe not as good as some donuts I've had, but definitely solid. I'd come here again. :)

Cookies and cream, matcha, and ube to name a few!

Delicious mochi donuts FTW! These are the best mochi donuts I have ever had in the ellicott city/clarksville area! You can taste the mochi inside the donuts & the icing is rather sweet too! I will definitely recommend this place for all the donut lovers who rave about mochi donuts.

A random search for vegan donuts in Germantown led to this. I was surprised I'd never heard of it…read morebefore, but then I realized they don't have a storefront -- they run out of their house! So one random week I decided to contact them just to inquire about their prices, flavors and such (I found this info on their website). They actually didn't respond until over a week later, and I realized it was because they were out of the country! So they let me know when they would be returning and so I contacted them again then. By some insane twist of fate, the day they said to contact them also happened to be National Donut Day -- obviously a sign. It turns out they don't have delivery right now (probably because they just returned?) so I had to arrange a pickup. They're $4 a pop, so I decided to just get half a dozen: Cinnamon Sugar Chocolate Oreo Mango Pistachio Rose Raspberry Pina Colada I arrived at the house, waited a few minutes, and the man came to the door with the donut box in hand. The donuts looked awesome too! Then I went to my sister's and surprised them with vegan donuts for the special day -- great feedback all around. I didn't get to taste every single one, but the chocolate oreo, rose, mango pistachio and pina colada were delicious!! The flavors popped, the texture of the donut was light and had me not feeling too guilty, and they looked nice! It was totally unexpected to find a vegan donut spot so close to my sister, and to be family-run is lovely! They have an interesting history on their website, you should give it a read!

We walked into the restaurant and stood at the hostess stand and no one came to seat us so we went to the bar to seat ourselves. The restaurant was beautiful and had a great nautical theme. The bartender was very sarcastic and didn't seem like he cared much about still being at work. We sat down at 8:30pm and by 8:45pm, we got the feeling they were cleaning up for closing.. at 10:00pm. I even asked if Google was correct about the close time because it was so off putting. We tried two beers from the tap and they were flat and awful tasting. We even switched one out because it tasted like a wet rag. We ordered our dinners and were surprised at how good it was. I got the "Spaghetti and Meatballs" which is shrimp and lump crab meat made into small balls over linguini with a garlic Alfredo sauce, served with garlic toast. My boyfriend got the Lump Crab Cake sandwich and fries. We agreed that the food was good and came out hot and well seasoned. There were only two other people in the whole restaurant besides us and when they left, it was as if we didn't really exist. Lights were being turned off, dishes and bar was being cleaned, they closed the entrance doors and I had to use my flashlight on my phone to get to the bathroom. The whole time, the owner was sitting at the end of the bar having loud private conversations with her staff who were ordering food from the kitchen at the same time as us. All very strange and not inviting. Probably not going back, and maybe this was a weird one off, but it was so off putting for us. Maybe they are more professional at a peak time of service but I was shocked they were treating it like they were closed at an hour and a half before closing.

I was nicely greeted when I walked in and was excited to get some donuts. I was informed it would be about 10-15 minutes for the donut machine to warm up. I was concerned about the time and walked out trying to find somewhere else nearby that wasn't too commercial. I couldn't and returned to get the donuts. I'm glad I did because it didn't take too long and they were good. My only gripe is that these are mini donuts and the price is a bit steep for the size. $15 for 12 mini donuts. I'll definitely come back to try the other offerings.
