We had such a wonderful time! The staff was super friendly and helpful, the cats were amazing, and the coffee was honestly really good, too (straight latte and americano were both worthy of a conventional coffee shop). My oldest of 4 has been begging to visit a cat cafe since she learned they were a thing, so when we saw there was one in Branson we had to add it to our visit. We stayed for an hour, and got to know the cats and the staff really well. The 7, 5, and 3 year old all did very well with the friendly kitties, and my wife and I had loads of fun too. We will definitely be back next time we're in town. Most are adoptable as they partner with the Shepherd of the Hills Humane Society. read more

The best cat cafe I've been to in my travels and surprisingly I'm BRANSON. This place is so well run. Great selection of beverages, and GOOD beverages. Amazing cat decor without being corny - it's all great plus a mix of art and goods for sale by local artists. The Purrista was amazing - she worked quickly solo plus I was impressed by her use of Alexa to set timers for the groups as she worked, chatted and greeted everyone. A true multi-tasker. They play Christian music in the main cafe, soothing spa music in the cat room. The owner is a music fan and there is good Charlotte, panic at the disco and fall out boy memorabilia on the walls. In the cat room, Wendy was knowledgeable about the cats and chatted with everyone and made it extra fun. I am traveling for work and sat to catch up on email with a furry friend on my lap. It was relaxing. Hope to have a chance to stop in again before I leave town. read more

The team at mochas and meows are super sweet and knowledgeable about the cats. We reserved an hour to play with, pet and observe all the cats and their personalities. Saturdays are busy so spend some time sipping delicious coffee and play board games. We highly recommend making a reservation. Our favorite cats were miles,mike and sawyer. Absolutely stunned by this place. Like many tourists, we saw a billboard for the place and decided to check it out. Nowhere on billboard does it say you MUST have a reservation. When we got there, we saw a sign that said prepaid reservations recommended. Inside we were immediately told that there was no available times that day. That was fine; we decided to get coffee to go. During the time we were there we were chastised to move and not congest the door area. The people behind us were told to close the door because they had trouble with the air conditioner. The lady behind me asked about a certain type of milk. The response was, "As you can see on our menu...". Another patron walked in and I heard a response to her of "If you would have looked on our website...". Then we were chastised not to stand at the counter and wait. Then told we should all order together even if paying separately. I was afraid to order anything off the menu (I have to have sugar free) because I thought I would get yelled at. Then we stood at the window and watched the cats, afraid we would get told to move again. Oh, and they don't have decaf. Yelling at Alexa to make announcements left and right. Completely surreal. Had I been alone I would have left immediately. I quickly decided not to order from them. We would have liked to have seen the sanctuary cats, but I'm pretty sure the two employees were the cattiest people in the place. I'm ok with paying but making a reservation and coming back is just plain stupid!!! I had to come back another day!!! When we came in our day they said they had 10-20 cats, but only 5 or 6 were even out to be pet WTF!!! I'm paying to play with all the cats!!! Also the coffee drinks are TERRIBLE!! I couldn't even finish mine it was so nasty. They need to revamp their drinks to something less watered down. What an amazing experience! We came here on the last day of our vacation and had so much fun with the kitties! All of the staff members were patient, kind, and informative, as my kids asked a LOT of questions. It was so fun and relaxing to play with the kitties and learn their personalities! I definitely recommend doing at least half and hour in order to give the cats time to warm up to you. The cats all seem very well cared for, and the facility was clean and well-maintained. This was a really decent cat cafe and a great way to kill some time if you have both early risers and late sleepers in your family. We spotted this location while eating at the Shogun hibachi for dinner and my daughter pleaded to come back the next day. It wasn't really on the agenda but it was raining when we got up so we decided to head up for a quick visit while the rest of the family was sleeping in. I checked the website before to make reservations (we have cat cafes where we live and they ALWAYS need reservations to get in) but the website actually discouraged reservations and encouraged walk-in. We drove on up and got there around 10. The space is very large and you enter first into the cafe where you can order drinks while you wait or to take in with you to the cat space. There were a lot of people waiting. We were directed to the checkin counter and were told we would need to wait 30 - 45 min since we didn't have a reservation. So it was a bummer that the website encourages walk-in but you are penalized for not making a reservation when you arrive. The pricing was really reasonable compared to what I'm used to back home and we were able to do a quick 30 min visit with the cats after our wait. 30 min seemed to be the standard choice, but they have a 15 min and 1 hour option as well. They use a timer and lanyards to keep you on your scheduled time and are really good at getting people in and out efficiently. Cat cafes are by nature a little messy. This place did a good job keeping up with the hair, smell, and mess. There were staff removing hair from surfaces and keeping an eye on your safety and that of the cat residents. They did a good job of stepping in when kids were getting handsy or when some of the cats were getting cranky, but they weren't obtrusive or nagging. There were plenty of cats, most were sleeping but some were playful. You are not allowed to pick them up (standard) and none seemed inclined to want to sit on laps or jump up on anyone. We got a smoothie on the way out and we were charged $.27 (with tax) for an extra cup which seemed a little silly. The smoothie was ok. I would probably go back again but I wouldn't make this a highlight stop on my next trip and I would definitely make a reservation to avoid waiting. read more

It is truly incredible how God works and blesses us, and writes testimonies full of His goodness! In August of 2022, I lost my cat, Cougar, whom I had for 16 years to cancer. He had experienced so much of life with me, and even faithfully remained by my side through numerous orthopedic surgeries I had during my teen years. Cougar was truly one of the most loyal friends I've ever had. After he died, I had a really hard time thinking about ever adopting another cat again, because of the special bond and memories we shared together. In fact, everywhere I turned, I just began to cry when thinking of him, and could not talk about it. In my mind at the time, no other animal would ever come close to Cougar. Well, fast forward to Christmas Eve of 2022. After a few months of grieving, I began to feel in my heart that it would be special to have a kitty again. Yet, I did not even know where to begin looking, or how to get one that would even remotely have the personality of Cougar. This quickly became a tiny prayer in my heart. You see, prior to Cougar's passing, I knew deep in my heart for years that someday when he passed, I wanted to adopt a gray and white tabby. After Christmas, my family and I took a trip down to Branson, MO to get away for a few days. While we were there, we stumbled upon a billboard on the highway that advertised a cat cafe, where they serve coffee and allow you spend time with adoptable cats. Considering that we don't have anything like this at home, we immediately knew that we had to stop by. That cafe was Mochas and Meows. Their mission is to care for and provide cats with more of the comforts of home than a shelter is able to, while awaiting adoption. When we arrived at Mochas and Meows, we were guided into this room that was separate from the cafe, which had quite a few cats in it for us to visit. We were there for half an hour, and really enjoyed ourselves. Over this time period, I interacted with numerous cats, as I sat in a chair. All of the sudden, this gray and white tabby jumped up beside me, and started to really enjoy my company. She began purring and snuggled up close to the side of my leg. I didn't even know that this adoption agency had a gray and white tabby, and I wasn't necessarily planning to adopt a cat that day. Nonetheless, this cat and I quickly made an instant connection, as I really felt her love and genuine personality steal my heart. I began to see that she exhibited many of the same personality traits as Cougar did, which I longed for. Thus, I knew that God had planned for me to have this kitty, and I started the adoption application process before we left the cafe that day! I was unable to take this cat home immediately, as my application was going through the various steps of the approval process, and some final vet appointments needed to take place. I came home with a sense of great hope and anticipation, as I prayerfully waited. Then, on Friday, December 30th, I received the best news that I had been hoping for! Everything with my adoption had been approved, and I could pick up my new kitty! As a result, my Dad and I made the trip back to Branson to bring her to her forever home! I would like to introduce you to Simoma, which is a Romanian name that can be translated to mean "God hears" or "God listens." Simona is the best kitty I could have ever asked for, and is a testimony of how God so beautifully fulfills the desires in our hearts; even the small ones! (Psalms 37:4 NKJV) God's eyes are on the sparrows, and yes, He watches over you and I as well! Nothing is too big or too small for Him, when we humbly call upon His Name! Simona is my Christmas miracle! To the entire Mochas and Meows team, thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you've done for me throughout this process. Such a cute cafe! We hadn't been to a cat cafe since we went to Japan last year. All of the drinks are cat themed and delicious, my favorite was the Cheshire Chai latte (get it with vanilla almond milk!). We enjoyed spending some time with the kitties while enjoying our drinks. Petting the cats helps socialize them and getting them to their fur-ever homes. This is a fun, out of the box activity everyone in the family can enjoy! The owner is so sweet and caring. I just didn't see the value in it because I had different expectations. If you think you are going to a place like you see on tiktok you absolutely are not. You have to pay for your drinks at the entrance and then pay to hang out with the cats in another. I did not see a value in it because I have cats at home. I thought I was going to like one of those coffee shops you saw on socials where you get your drink and snuggle down around some cats. You have to pay for time with the cats separate from your drinks. Seemed like a waste of my time and money to be honest I was horribly disappointed and ended up not being able to order anything bc of the horrendously long lines which I waited in for 20 mins and it never moved (I went at 10:45AM on a Saturday) and it was straight up $5 per person to just be in the same room as the cats for 15 mins. If you are in Branson and love cats, you will be doing yourself a disservice if you skip visiting Mochas and Meows. We chose the 30 minute option which was a good amount of time, but if you have the time, I think an hour would be much better! The time flew, but we all enjoyed playing with and petting the cats. THE CATS: I love that you can adopt them! They were so well taken care and the cattendant (We had Beck who was amazing!) really had a good relationship with them and introduced all of the cats to us. All of the cats were very friendly. There were a few cats that were hidden but they were friendly also. A cat even hugged me!!! My kids enjoyed it and it helped them get more comfortable with playing with cats and socializing with them. THE COFFEE/CAFE: We ordered smoothies and coffees and both were delicious. I didn't know it was going to be full cafe! We also purchased items from the cafe as souvenirs. I've been to Branson 3 times and this was by far, my favorite thing I've done. I thought it was either going to be a cafe with a few cats or a cat shelter with some coffee, but Mochas and Meows exceeded my expectations. It was a wonderful home for beautiful creatures that allows you to slow down on what can be a busy, hectic vacation and enjoy a delicious beverage, petting a cat and getting your stresses melt away. Emailing back and forth for two days trying to make reservations. Started emailing early Thursday for Friday reservations and received reply they are full. I respond that I wouldn't mind Saturday.....no answer. I go back through the website and request for Saturday. I receive a cookie cutter email reply that FRIDAY is full (I requested SATURDAY). So, I go back though the website again and request Saturday (it's Friday morning) and I am waiting to find out if we are "allowed" to go. You need an online reservation system, this emailing back and forth is BS. You also advise that people should book the day ahead before 8pm, I would advise they make arrangements with you a week ahead. It was not accessible to us at all even with your advised planning method. Edit: Yay, they finally answered and we were able to get in. The owner loudly yells the scheduling process to each person that walks in. The schedule is scribbled on a clipboard and staff is arguing about who wrote what. I was asked 4 times if I had waivers (by the same person) YES!!! Now frustrated, hot, and dizzy, I'm fanning myself with a flyer from the table when I was told to put it back NOW. So I wasn't especially nice in return, just not understanding this hostile environment, I start crying. They talk about me loudly for the whole cafe and myself to hear. I'm just minding my own business, crying at the table now, and the owner came over to belittle me some more and tell me how rude I was. My husband told her the best thing to do would be to walk away, basically so I could compose myself and she offered to kick us out. I begged to stay, but in the end I was crying, my kid was crying (happy 16th birthday by the way!) and I did ask for that refund 10 minutes later. Where again the owner gave me a lecture about how she didn't have to give a refund because my husband was sooooo rude to her. He was trying to protect me from you and get you to quit badgering me. When someone says it's all good and they are already in tears, just leave them alone and you can quit expressing how "right" you are and just let it go lady. I was told we were just tourists and they work there,in Branson, in the service industry so they shouldn't be treated like that.....excuse me, you get what you give. Make your point in one sentence, not a 5 minute gripe session with a customer who is already in tears in front of everyone. Please know there signs of heat stroke in the future. read more

Our 4 kids wanted to go here all week. After seeing all the great reviews online, we were super excited to finally take them here for lunch at the end of our vacation, but sadly, we had a terrible experience. A very rude woman/employee started screaming at us for walking through the business without apparently signing wavers? This was our first time here and no one said anything about waivers. As we tried to quietly exit the business without drawing additional attention to ourselves, she continued yelling at our family for using the wrong exit door. Maybe instead of displaying pride flags and other pride merchandise stating "everyone is welcome" as you enter, they should hire an employee to stand at the door entrance with waivers and to greet/welcome families as they come in to truly make everyone feel welcomed?
