I drive 40 miles to use this place. The owner was evidently angry that I came in and was quite rude. I said nothing, paid, made another appointment and took my dogs home. I received a message after I got home that since I had been dissatisfied, my appointment and all future appointments would be cancelled. I don't understand the unprofessional, rude behavior on her part so I guess I should be grateful to find another groomer. Guess she was having a bad day.

I can usually get an appointment within 1-2 days of calling. I have been pleased with the way Sassy looks when she is finished. Sassy is an elderly poodle who hates the groomer, but they have made this experience a little easier for her. Petco makes an attempt to follow a traditional poodle look which is something most of Sassy's groomers haven't done. Since Sassy is a "difficult groom" most groomers usually recommend a puppy cut which doesn't give the distinguished poodle look. I've been pleased and will continue to use Petco for grooming.

Here we are MONTHS LATER, and my dog's fur is still not grown back in places and is 'patchy'. I've been told that a Pomeranian can take up to a year to fully recover from a damaged undercoat. To say I'm upset is an understatement. I am not going to say that they aren't good with a standard bath, etc. or even a single coat dog. But if you have a double-coated dog like a Pom, I would go someplace else. Oh, and then they tried to make it be MY fault like I asked them to do this cut where there were places shaved down to his skin.
