This place went from Cool to Kids in less than a season. And not just well behaved kids that know they are out at a restaurant, listen to their parents and behave. Kids that literally run around the entire place climbing trees and the sculptures and play tag and scream. It's fascinating how hard a parent can ignore their kid in a place like this. It has to be an Olympic sport at this level. The food is great. Pizza is amazing. And the staff is awesome. It's well worth going if you have a 7-year old and need an hour or two to just let them run and bug the sh*t out of someone else for once. Came for dinner with a few friends and ended up staying for hours. The staff was friendly and nice all the way from the parking lot to the table. We got the liter of Spicy Margarita and it was absolutely delicious. Every plate was beautiful and full of flavor, Chef Darragh really outdid himself. Absolutely horrendous. This place has gone downhill exponentially. The octopus was rubbery and awful. The replacement pasta was missing key ingredients. The mushrooms had zero Hen of the Woods. The broccolini was burnt . All of this for nearly $1000. We are done. You should be too! read more

I'll start by saying we loved going to Moby's multiple times last summer. Great food, great vibe, so much fun for the kids, and outstanding service. Our first visit of summer '24, tonight, started out to be disappointing, but the glitch with our res was quickly resolved with compliments to the Manager, Em. She couldn't have been more accommodating and professional. Every server was outstanding, setting us up quickly and changing our table just as seamlessly. They were all warm, friendly and professional. As for the meal, the kale salad, shishito peppers and pizza were delicious, and the pasta dishes were all great, too. It turned out to be a lovely evening. Our entire group sends a huge thank you to the Manager, Em, for working with us, and accommodating us tonight. Food is delicious!! Ordered caccio e Pepe and margherita pizza and it was quality food made with fresh ingredients. One of the best caccio e pepe's I've had and better than a lot in NYC. We also got red wine on tap, and I was amazed at how smooth it was!! The service was also good. One of the most striking aspects of this place is the ambiance. There are many seats and large tables, perfect for date night, grabbing a bite with friends or coming here as a family. I saw many young families and young children, and it is nice to see a restaurant that accommodates children. This place has the vibes of fun summer days. Definitely coming here again! read more

Overall the service and food was wonderful. a few points for them to work on: -why is extra bread with the burrata 3 dollars? likely should be free, or just at least include bread with your app. -the pizzas slide of the metal stand all the time; so much so that the waiter said, "watch out- the pizzas fall off." this happened to me, which was fine given that I was nearly done but moral of the story: if your customer keep on losing their food, you should probably fix your pizza stand. cute little boutique outside lovely garden in good weather or they do tents in the rain if you get rained out. used to be the old EMP house but a great spot. will come back summer 2021! ~T read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. We came here with my family for a birthday dinner and sat for over an hour without receiving our appetizers. They screwed up the drink order and they weren't even apologetic for not bringing out the appetizers --then they brought the wrong entrée out twice. We came with children who were well behaved sitting patiently- and even that did nothing to make the staff pay us any mind. Do not waste your time coming here. The plates are over priced, salty, and definitely not worth it. The service is the worst part by far. Mixed experiences each time I have come here. The pizza is not worth it I've tried them all it's lacking flavor, the dough and sauce are both boring. The mushrooms are the best side vegetables to order. The peppers and chickpea sides are overpriced and not good. The chickpea is just a bowl of chickpeas in a sauce and not made for sharing, it was strange. The cod is good, the bolognese also good. Tuna is a good appetizer but small portion, really serves one. The thing that I was floored by is the "lasagna". It is actually the worst thing I've ever had at a restaurant and even worse that it was at a place like this. It is legit noodles in what tastes like canned red sauce. Then a crispy thing piece of cheese on top. The waitress forgot to add the meat to the order as well, but this is literally terrible and a disgrace that this is on the menu. The drinks are good. The only reason it is worth it to come here is because it's cool outside. The service last time was also terrible they forgot multiple things and food was bad. They were also all very fucking rude to my family and I. They asked me, a 46 year old man, for identification. I came here to drink, why the fuck would I need a DRIVERS ID THAT I LEAVE IN MY CAR. They would not serve me, so I had to take secret sips from my wife's wine, of course they hadn't asked her for an ID! After complaining to a supervisor, my blonde ponytail waitress served me "warmed apple cider" in a plastic cup. She gave me her own, still warmed, piss. If that doesn't qualify for 1 star I seriously do not know what does. Dessert sucks also. The "cheesecake" is a straight up block of fucking cream cheese on top of a "crust" of pistachio. They served us frozen fluke, 3 slices of steak and the worst cacio Pepe of my entire life. Cold and vile. The thing is they told us, "no one else complained." Because we were a bigger party, they had prix fixe menus for us that we weren't expecting and didn't accommodate our entire dietary restrictions and delayed everything else - they wouldn't let us order off of the regular menu. Drinks were tasty but in tiny glasses, I had the Paloma, food was acceptable, outdoor seating area was really cute and the staff is polite but there seemed to be issue after issue with our orders and being able to accommodate a large party and it was a little disappointing. I don't think it was worth the $$ per person if you're expecting a regular dine-in situation. Also, they charged extra for bread, they dropped a tray of drinks which delayed things even more (which I get, we're humans, but after other issues it was a lot) and only got us two rounds within the 2 hours we spent here. read more

After months of dining at home because of covid, was very excited to finally dine out with my family and thought they had a great setup for safe, outdoor dining. When ordering, I informed the waitress I am gluten free and ordered the kale salad without the bread crumbs. When it arrived with what appears to be light beige flakes. I ask the runner, is this gluten free? He says yes. I point to the bread crumb flakes and he says that is Parmesan cheese. I'm skeptical so I ask again if it's gluten free and he very confidently said yes and so them I foolishly trust that he knows. While eating my portion of the salad, I'm feeling doubtful. Because there's a lot of dressing on the salad I can't really taste them. But my stomach is telling me otherwise. I stop eating, and ask the waitress when she passes by, and she says oh yes those are breadcrumbs! Nice job Moby's, serving bread to someone who clearly states they have a gluten allergy and telling them it's not bread. Been sick for hours post eating, and will be for the next few days now. Being glutened when your celiac is like having a full body flu for days. As if this wasn't enough, when everyone at my table received their dinner, either chicken or fish, my husband and son who ordered pizzas, did not. They sat and watched everyone eat their fish or chicken so it didn't get cold, while inquiring multiple times on their order. Theirs finally arrived after we all finished eating, apparently it wasn't made because the kitchen was confused by the gluten free note on the order and since the pizza wasn't gluten free, they didn't make it! There were 4 of us at the table...we ordered 2 appetizers to share, 3 of us ordered pasta for our entree and my wife ordered a pizza for her entree. They brought the pizza out BEFORE the appetizers and then the 3 pasta dishes finally arrived after close to an hour...unacceptable! I should have known this was going to be a disaster after they brought my martini, served in the smallest martini glass I've ever seen, and was half empty - two sips of vodka for $17...awesome. read more

Let's start with the one positive. The young man who greeted us was a breath of fresh air....warm and engaging. He is the reason for the one star. The service is rushed as in "don't let them warm their seats...get them out fast". They delivered both the appetizers and main dishes at the same time. We sent our main dishes back and when they brought them back to the table.....yes, you guessed it they were the same, now COLD pasta entrees. Back to the kitchen they went. Ordered the linguine with clams. Three empty clam shells adorned the plate with the three clams minced in the pasta. And, then the check arrives and you realize you have been robbed.
