We went on Mother's day 2025. We originally planned to go somewhere else but when I called ahead to get on a list and they told me the table would be ready when we arrived (said they had no wait) so we came here. We arrived shortly after and we waited about 10-15 minutes just for the table (it was not busy by the time we got there). Our server was very overwhelmed and I gave grace bc it was probably a huge rush a few hours prior. He barely checked on us the entire time we were there. I had their "soup" of the day and it was more of a chowder. I had ordered a chicken Caesar wrap with grilled chicken... I could barely bite into the chicken. It was hard and tough but it was cooked all the way thru. The french fries were good and so was the bang bang shrimp. Good alcoholic beverage as well! I probably won't come back though.

Ok update time. Sam our server was awesome. Professional and so polite, ask for her when you go. Food was excellent I had the Fish and Chips my wife had the fried chicken sandwich. Topped it off with key lime and limoncello pies. We will be back and will recommend to others.

Food was absolutely delicious, especially the lobster ravioli with shrimp from the special menu. Our server was very friendly and provided great service. The entire restaurant was decorated nicely and kept clean including the bathroom. The only problem was, it took us quite a while to get our food even though we went in at 4:30pm and the restaurant was still mostly empty. I would recommend this as a restaurant for a date night or some type of special occasions where everyone is here to relax, chat and drink together.

That said, this is probably one of the best I've had, and it's from a small town of Hayes, tucked away in a corner of a shopping center. The pizza is a true large size with generous toppings. The pepperoni, sausage, meatball, green peppers, and mushrooms meld together perfectly. The dough has a great texture. The buffalo wings were also excellent, with just the right amount of kick without overpowering the palate. When I walked in for takeout, the server was very friendly and welcoming. The decor reminds me of old Italy, with influences of Roman Catholic design, including statues and rosary decor. They seem to have loyal customers, as they greeted them by name--which is well-deserved, given how excellent the food is. Now I have to compare every pizza to Franco's pizza--the new gold standard in my book!

We split the olde world canzone. How can you tell it is 5 stars? You don't want the gravy that's served on the side. The crust was crisp, flakes, light and enveloped a combo of pepperoni, Italian sausage, fresh mushrooms, ricotta, and mozzarella. As for the sauce, it was an authentic Italian Sunday Gravy that you could taste the chicken bones that were used to make the broth that complimented the tomato base. The herbs that were used to season the Gravy seasoned it well. And the sauce was cooked down. The garlic knots are to die for. They are served topped with a garlic infused oil. And a bowl of parmesean cheese.

The menu didn't go into detail on this so I was genuinely surprised; this does not happen to me often. They said they could fix it, but even the second salad I was sent still had a tiny piece of meat in it. Not wanting to create any more hassle, I had already eaten the actual lettuce and such before I got to it, so I just let it go at that point. For a place that has a vegetarian pasta section on the menu, apparently they need a vegetarian salad section. Clearer labeling and less sloppy execution. Otherwise, my stromboli looked better, but was a bit too heavy on cheese and light on sauce for me. It certainly was a massive portion size and I was not the only one with leftovers. Getting some free garlic knots (not special for me; everyone got some) also helps smooth things over. They had an extensive and impressive dessert spread, but I could not have gotten one down. I always find it tough in these sorts of cases, because I think their actual level of quality is good (better than three stars) but my actual experience was upsettingly bad (worse than three stars), so I split the difference. Maybe I'll find my way back.

There was no planning involved, and it still turned out pretty well. I had the crab cakes, house salad, and mixed vegetables which were all delicious. My boyfriend tried some pasta dish, which he wasn't a huge fan of (not because it was bad, but because he was trying something he wouldn't normally order). The waitress saw that he wasn't that thrilled with his meal and took half off of the price. We didn't even complain. Now that is excellent customer service! Knowing how well they take care of their guests is incentive enough to come back! I hope to see things a lot busier now that tourist season is hitting (there were only about 6 tables filled during my visit - which was fine with me!).

The salad was OK, kinda hard to screw that up. It came with one teaspoon of dressing. Could not pry our server away from a birthday party, to request more. The steak? Well, this was by far the absolute worst piece of meat, I have ever had the displeasure to not enjoy. It was pan grilled to a burnt. The sear was horrendous. Tasted like charcoal. I understand that ribeyes are fatty, but this thing was literally swimming in grease. The plate looked like it had been cooked in shortening. Left a greasy taste/feeling on the roof of my mouth. This was a "thin cut" steak. It was horrible!!! No flavor, aside the charcoal taste. Just down right nasty. The vegetable medley was nothing more than some frozen vegetables drowning in butter. When I go to a restaurant, and spending a pretty penny, I am expecting fresh veggies. My husband is military and is used to eating some pretty sub-par foods. He will literally eat just about anything put in front of him. He ordered the ribs. Again, one teaspoon of sauce. They were baked, and while they did fall off the bone, they were extraordinarily dry. As an avid cook, I could tell they had been baked, and then reheated a few times. Meat has a certain taste, when reheated. He ate two ribs and pushed away his plate!! While waiting on our food, we noticed a cockroach scurry by. The place feels dirty, unkempt. We witnessed a diner sneeze, at his table. After he left, I was careful to watch. They just cleared the dirty dishes and, wiped the crumbs from the table, with a dry cloth. We ate just partial amounts of food, and did not even take it home, to our dogs!! We both suffered from belly aches, for the rest of the evening. We will never let this place take our hard earned money again. Spend that money, and still be starving? I think not.

The menu is pretty much the same so we stuck with our old standbys. There were 4 of us and two ordered their favorite pizzas while another ordered chicken parm. 3 of us had salads but I was the only one who chose the antipasto. I also ordered the appetizer of chicken wings. Not much of a fan of them usually but had a yen for them. When they arrived I dropped my jaw. THEY WERE HUGE. I hadn't been aware that they were strictly buffalo wings but ordered the mild. I tried one but only after I ate my entree of the linguine with garlic & oil. Yum. I am happy to report that it's some of the best I've had. Lots and lots of garlic and the bowl isn't swimming in olive oil. After finishing that I was too full but ate one wing & brought the rest home. Now my only complaint is that all my food came out at once. That's not my idea of enjoying the restaurant. Salad first, appetizers and then entree. The way that was done doesn't allow you to savor your courses. While I'm enjoying my salad my wings and pasta are getting cold. Not ideal. The service was good, we were checked on regularly and the server was very attentive Thank you Sals for an enjoyable night out. It was a pleasure dining with you.

There were plenty of tables available both inside and outside; as it was a beautiful day, we opted for the patio. We ordered a grilled chicken sub and a garlic poke bowl, then went outside to wait; they said that they would bring the food to the table when it was ready. It was taking a bit, so we opted to go back in and order two drinks. We sat outside, drinking my beer and her cocktail, and when we were nearly done, realized that it had been more than 30 minutes since first ordering. I went back in to ask if it was coming up soon, to which the bartender glanced back at the service window and responded, "oh, yeah, just came up." He then went back to his restocking duties, then moved on to help someone else! I had to ask a second time if someone could simply have me the food that I had already purchased. The sub was delicious, if not quite piping hot. My wife's poke bowl was not bad, but the container had enough rice for four people. I assume that they bulk it up with rice to add to the "perceived value" so that people don't complain about half-empty bowls, but it was waaaaaay too much rice. Also, she loves garlic and even she said that it was overpoweringly garlicky. Ultimately, I would give the place four stars for food, but only two for service, averaging out to three stars. The weak link isn't the food, it's the people who make it too slowly and don't care about delivering it in a timely manner.
