Hi, We had a lift installed by Stairlift 3 weeks ago. I researched for the best price - it wasn't…read moreeven close. We opted to rent for a variety of reasons and wanted it quickly. Karen was great to deal with and their price was literally half of what we could find with any other vendor. They came the day they told us they would. They called to let us know they would be a bit late (40 minutes), which never happens. The guys (who installed the system) were SUPER nice and it was hectic as we had a bunch of other things going on that day. They were in and out in 3 hours. The lift has made a huge difference in her life as she can sleep in her bed again, and was thrilled with the ease of use. They did what they said they would do without any fuss, were a pleasure to deal with before, during and after installation. I can't say enough about them. We already gave their info to my parent's friends who need one. Finally, when I was looking I saw a one star review on Yelp and read it in detail and then read the other nine 5 star reviews. My take is that the 1 star review is one of two things: 1) Competitor 2) Someone who misunderstood what they were looking for and didn't do their research. We were told it would be delivered on January 29th. That date was then changed to February 3rd, and without explanation, we were later told February 26th. Nearly two months without essential mobility equipment. Communication was poor, follow-ups led nowhere, and no one seemed concerned that this chair is critical to my mother's safety and daily functioning. The only reason we finally received the chair on Thursday, February 5th is because I forcefully escalated the situation, stated I would pick it up myself, and demanded to speak with a supervisor. Once pressured, they were suddenly able to "rearrange" delivery -- proving the delay was avoidable all along. No family should have to threaten escalation or beg for basic medical equipment. This was careless, stressful, and completely unacceptable. I would strongly caution anyone considering this company, especially those caring for vulnerable patients.

It took me over 6 months to get in contact with someone to schedule a routine service in Woburn. I've had my van for almost 1 year next month. Why bother have an online appointment service request when clearly it states that it doesn't guarantee an appointment! The scheduler on the phone was rude and chuckled after asking me what I need for maintenance when I've already told her routine ramp service. No wonder people don't recommend this location and is unable to keep employees from staying at this location. Service all around is bad.
