Beyond professional establishment, came in looking for an entire new system. Needed two new speakers in the front two in the back, as well as a sub to add. I also thought I needed a new radio because the nob would not work properly, he insisted if it wasn't broken I wouldn't need a new one. He went out of his way free of charge to actually fix the volume knob for me so I wouldn't need a new radio (also fixed my radio antenna so it would work properly as well). He asked me the usual stuff like what type of set up I wanted regarding sound quality and pointed me in the correct way. Within 2 hours I had an entire new setup that sounded absolutely phenomenal. So for Christmas my dad decided to get me a remote start. We asked different places and for recommendations, but nothing really sounded promising. I live near Mobile Sound and decided to check out the website. I then called and got a straight to the point answer, which I appreciate. I scheduled the appointment and that was that. I arrive at 10am that Saturday to drop off my car and Nick is there taking car of someone who is asking way to many questions that Nick just didn't really care. I smiled and giggled on the inside. From my first phone call to inquire about a new speaker installation til when I left, it was clear that the 5 star ratings you see here are for a reason. I recently installed a new Pioneer DEH X6500BT receiver in my Jeep, and the excitement of a fancy new Bluetooth head unit dissipated the second I turned it on and heard just how horrible my stock speakers were. So, new speakers were a must. I called Mobile Sound and explained my situation and set the time to come in, pick out a good set and do the install. From the moment I walked in the door, they were with me the whole way. I'm new to car audio, I'm not illiterate but it's a whole world I'm just learning about. We talked about what I was looking for in audio output and we found the right speakers for my car that suited that. I was replacing just my front door speakers and dash tweeters, and after we'd just about settled on both, they showed me another full component set that included the door speakers and tweeters as one package, which ended up saving me money. They could have just sold them to me separately, but nope. I spent the time while installation was happening shootin' the breeze with them, and I gotta say it's really great to just have a nice down to earth conversation with people you're doing business with. The end result? Couldn't be happier. On the drive home I was hearing layers in songs I hadn't heard before. The Bluetooth calling was crystal clear. They could have tried to up-sell me on a much more expensive speaker set, I obviously am very new to car audio and could easily be taken advantage of. But nope. I needed new tires so I went to my go to website, tire rack. I found what I wanted, 4 tires for my car and 2 tires for my other car. When I came to the check out options I had to make a decision where I wanted these tires shipped and that was the first time I even heard or Mobile Sound. I decided to take a chance and have them shipped there. I showed up the next day and asked when I could get them installed. I was asked if 15 minutes was too long to wait. 15 minutes? That's nothing! If you need anything car audio related, look no further than Mobile Sound. This is my first Yelp review and I'm happy to add to another well-deserved five-star rating for this business. I had recently purchased a used car and was looking to update the sound system. After doing some preliminary research, I called up Mobile Sound based on the stellar reviews. After seeing the car, Nick offered up suggestions for a new head unit, front and rear door speakers, subwoofer, and amplifier. Remarkably, he steered me away from some more expensive options I had in mind, and patiently explained his rationale for what he felt got me the most bang for my buck, but remaining respectful of my desire for the best I could afford. He set a generous price from the start and made it clear that he would not take a penny from me until I was 100% satisfied. I was told the car would be ready in a week or so, maybe a little longer, as Nick insisted on being given ample time to do a good job. After giving the go-ahead, the only hiccup came a few days later when Nick called me up and informed me that installing a double-DIN head unit would require some minor surgery to the car, which needed my approval. He was very honest and up front about explaining the problem and what he would do to resolve it. He assured me that he would do nothing irreversible, which put my fears to rest. The man had been the ultimate professional thus far, and I had no issue deferring to his expertise. I ended up getting my car back a day earlier than expected, and could not be happier with the result. Mind you, my particular model of car is not built to normally accept a double-DIN head unit, nor does it have an aftermarket fascia for such an item. In addition to the regular installation, Nick had produced a custom fascia for the head unit, a custom subwoofer enclosure for the trunk, and threw in a rear backup camera with a compatible license plate mount, without deviating from the original set price. All the installed items blended in beautifully and look as if they could be stock. Furthermore, Angel, the head technician, sat with me for about 20 minutes in the car explaining and demonstrating all the new features for the head unit, making sure I knew how to use it and was satisfied with the sound quality. Following payment, Nick told me not to hesitate to come back if any problems arose, and gave a generous warranty for parts and labor. I left happy as a lamb and would not hesitate to recommend Mobile Sound to anybody for their car audio needs. Nick is a consummate professional, a gentleman and a scholar. I recently got a flat tire and purchased 4 new tires from tirerack. I saw that they were delivered to my local tire shop (Mobile Sound) a few days later and I was ready to get them put on my car. I showed up with no appointment on a Saturday around 3PM hoping that they weren't very busy. Unfortunately for me, they were all booked up. There was no way to get my tires installed till Monday at the earliest. I noted the urgency to the manager/owner (Nick) and he said that he was able to work me in later that afternoon right before they closed. I asked if he was sure and he assured me that it would be done, even if he had to install them himself. I showed up after a few hours and pulled my car into their garage. 20 Minutes later I had four new tires on my car and I was ready to leave, just as they were closing up. I have a sound system I am looking to have installed in the next few weeks and I will definitely bring it to Mobile Sound. Nick bent over backwards to make sure I was completely satisfied. Since posting my last review part of my car decayed from sun exposure and fell into my new rear speakers, damaging them. I came back to Mobile Sound and they were understanding. It had been well past warranty time, but they cut me a bit of a deal on replacing my broken speakers, and even mounted them in a way that they wouldn't be damaged like the last ones. After calling around to numerous shops on installing 4 new tires on my car I settled on Mobile Sound as it was very close. I couldn't have been happier! A quick phone call and I was set for a next day appointment. I arrived a bit late due to traffic but they took my car in as soon as I arrived. Nick was very friendly and accommodating and puts pride into his store and it shows! The two men who installed my new tires did it super fast but were not rushing to get it done. You can tell they are very proficient with their work and 4 tires installed took maybe 30 minutes (including a short conversation with one of the installers) from arrival to leaving. The shop is small but very clean and organized and you can watch your car being worked on right through the door 5 feet away. An added bonus is that my installation charge quoted included road force balancing which my car rides as smooth as the day it came off the showroom (and even priced lower than many competitors!!). Overall an outstanding experience and I will be referring everyone I know to Mobile Sound and will be returning when I need additional work done with my tires! read more

Nick is good to work work and I've had him install tires on a couple occasions without issue and went to them for some stereo work of putting in new component speakers a couple months back. Sounded better but i wanted to do some further tweaks to improve this a couple months later and pulled apart the door. I find that though i requested the crossovers to be set at a certain setting multiple times, they were not set there and I was assured they were. Also they left the factory tweeter plugged in with the new component tweeter! How could you possibly leave both the old and the new tweeter on at the same time?? Very disappointing. Makes sense why I wasn't totally pleased with the sound. All of these things, I would not have seen if I didn't look inside myself. So I feel somewhat conned. The outside install looked very nice, they did do a good job mounting the speakers but I am quite disappointed with the attention to detail inside the install that actually matters for sound quality. I know Nick wasn't installing it himself, he seems like a very good guy but his installers don't seem to have the same attention to detail you would expect for your car. Also just noticed that they didn't use the proper brackets when they installed the speakers so its rigged up with some tape and forced screws! disappointing!!! read more
