The shop has lost its way - what a shame. This place used to be top notch for service and support, but it has gone downhill fast. All the good techs have left in the past few months, and ones that remain call in sick. This happened to me twice on two separate Saturdays - only finding out when I showed up for my appointments. The shop owner seems more concerned with splitting the showroom with in to support a Pokemon store (huh??). Talk about losing focus on your core business! As a fan and supporter of small business, I am very sad to see this happen. Unfortunately I think it is beyond repair, and I will be going elsewhere to finish the work that they started. Let's see. They've done a screen update in my G550 as well as installed CarPlay and changed interior trim on my AMG GT. Are there cheaper options, maybe but for my money this is the place to go. Work is meticulous, neat and they know exactly what they're doing. I'm extremely particular about the work done on my vehicles. Everything needs to be 100% perfect or I'll obsess over it. People tend to judge work based on clientele. But let's face it, virtually every business that does wraps or aftermarket accessories has a few Lambos, Range Rovers and assorted other niceties sitting in their work bay. Sometimes, you walk into a shop and you instantly get a positive vibe. EMS is such a place. There is a professional atmosphere - from staff, to the comfortable waiting area, to the spotless shop area. Clean. well lit, business-like and confidence building. I came in for an upgrade of the K40 radar detector built into my new-to-me car. Joe, owner, said that the unit I had was "prehistoric" and then showed me the options I have for upgrade. Pricing was discussed, benefits of each choice explained clearly and smart, value-based options offered. No pressure! Once I made my decision, Joe scheduled the installation (and removal of the old system). I was able to watch Joe and his staff carefully disassemble the front and rear bumpers and lights to get the old system out and then, carefully install the new system - all without fuss or muss. The unit worked first time we tested it (Joe even has a laser source and radar gun) and that was great because on the way home - literally 20 minutes after I left EMS's shop - the radar detector warned of a state trooper "pacing" traffic on route 287. I had plenty of time to check my speed and avoid a possible conversation with the brave folks keeping our highways safe (I am not being sarcastic - I think the NJ state troopers do a great job!)... EMS impressed me with their professionalism, fair pricing, expert installation skills and varied options based on the vast spectrum of products on the market. Highly recommended for high quality, complex automotive electronics work - in fact, I'm thinking of saving some bucks and going back in a couple of months for a radio upgrade (my radio doesn't have Bluetooth or smart phone connections. Had a front and rear camera installed on my Cayman. I had done quite a bit of research online to find the best unit recommended for Porsches. Turns out it's Nav-TV. Contacted Nav-TV and they mentioned that Extreme mobil are their #1 recommended installer in NJ... apparently they have a lot of experience working with nice cars. I felt I could trust my baby here. And I do think they did a good job. It does seem like a factor unit. Also they ended up replacing the missing suction cap on my radar detector... thought that was really cool. They weren't the most inexpensive quote I received but I was willing to pay a little more for the quality of work. They did not disappoint!! I called in the morning and they told me to come in early afternoon. The Husband and wife Team of owners were super nice and helpful. They answered all of my questions and concerns with great detail. Once they took my car I made myself comfortable on the couch in the waiting room. About an hour later a guy who I assumed was one of the techs came out and told me I was done!! I wish I could give this place a 10+ rating . I've bought used Audi Q5 for my son and radio , screen, whole Audi MMI system wasn't working. After a short wait, Joseph (owner) grabbed me to show him what's going on with the car . There were all sorts of loose wires in the trunk where everything is connected which he quickly eliminated and stripped down to what's original . After about 20 minutes of testing each component he pinpointed what the problem was , took care of it and everything was working. Let me just say this ... Like the other reviews posted, I'm really glad I used Joe, Jen and their crew to install a new stereo (which I bought online). Their shop is very clean, comfortable, and the staff is very friendly. The waiting area has a comfortable couch, TV and music. They even worked to accommodate my schedule so that I didn't have to leave work too early. I had a minor issue with the install...one of the wires was bad out of the box for connecting my phone (went bad after I left the shop after hours), and Joe and Jen went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure that it was fixed and working properly. They even came out to my house to do the job, all the while following up by text multiple times to ensure scheduling was on time and that I was happy with the finished product. I couldn't recommend Extreme Mobile Sounds more highly...you get great customer service, a great install, and can feel good about supporting a local business (instead of say, Best Buy). Had Joe and the boys install a Compustar security system on a 2013 Subaru WRX. Price was right, service was speedy, and the staff was friendly. I was able to leave my car there while they worked on it and I went to work with a friend. A++ on the install. About a week later, I wanted to add an autostart. PPE wrapped my truck. When I set up my appointment I was told the wrap, in fact is a wrap, and goes around a each panel fully ensuring all edges are covered. I specifically asked if there would be any "shiny" areas as I was getting a matte xpel wrap. Making sure I cover all aspects. I was told no shine would show and the wrap was complete, nothing shiny would show. It took about a week which was awesome. That weekend I wiped down my new wrap to discover Several bubbles on several panels, dirt and edge peels. I contacted them to fix the issues, brought it back to the shop, reviewed all problem areas, txt'd a list as well as pictures so there would be no confusion. Went back the two days later to pick up my truck to find only 2 issues were resolved. Windows were re tinted again because of bubbles, and edge peels were Cut vs fixed properly. And the one panel they re-wrapped had a large dirt spec under the ppe, they removed it (in the parking lot, and made the area worse) I spent over 2 hours standing around while they worked on the truck. I was told that's the best any PPE can be as it's hard, yea I realize that which is why I went to a professional authorized installer lol. Again, This is an authorized Xpel installer and if you follow them on IG they have a recently posted story about how they ensure their work is perfect, of course the car is a Lambo that is perfectly done. They offered to fix the door again but that's more time I'm w/o a vehicle, Fast forward 1.5 weeks and there are new areas peeling. Not sure my next course of action here, but will update accordingly. read more

This place is awesome. I recommend that if you ever go to a place for an install and they have a Ferrari, Lamborghini and an Alfa Romeo in the front you know that this place legit. No one will trust you with an expensive car if you ain't the shizzle! You can imagine how I felt when I had to park my 2016 Toyota Corolla in between a Ferrari and a Lambo. Anyway I did, and once inside the employees all straight out of Beverly Hills 90210 were nice to speak with and made you feel comfortable. They knew right away what the issue was with the install that I just had done elsewhere. Joe was the bomb and in between showing me the issue with the install that was done elsewhere he shared some management advice with me. Which was pretty good actually. A+ for service, turnaround, price and experience. Wanted a dash cam I bought elsewhere to be hooked up to my car so I messaged EMS and they responded very quickly. The next day I was at their shop with a brand new setup. I did, however, opt to return the one I bought from Amazon as it was subpar, and Joe happily undid his own work and started fresh with a new camera. I now have a Blackvue setup for the front and rear of my car and I couldn't be happier! Joe helped me set it up, showed me how to use the app, and checked to see if everything was working right. I had to return today for a small oversight on my behalf, but once again they accommodated me no problem. Pro-Tip: For whatever reason, the address, when entered into a GPS, might take you a little ways away from where they are located. They are in the shopping center across highway 4 from Wendy's, behind the Mattress Firm. Their store front DOES NOT face the highway, it's behind a salon which faces the highway. It come before the Dunkin Donuts and just after the Exxon. Pro-Tip 2: The turnaround for something like a dash cam is quick enough to justify waiting, but long enough to justify bringing something to occupy yourself with like a laptop, headphones, book, etc. So plan accordingly. Their waiting room is pretty nice and does have a TV and music though. read more

The people here are TERRIFIC and extremely helpful. I have an older car and the radio was shorting and draining my car battery every night making it necessary to jump start it everyday. Since I am in the market for a new car, I didn't want to invest in replacing this one, which would have been considerable expense. But without another option right now, I was pretty stuck. I called and explained my situation and they agreed I could come over that same day and they would disconnect it....just like that! They took care of it as soon as I arrived (5:30 on a Friday night!) It took only a few minutes and I was in and out in no time. In fact, I got lost on the way there, called and got the owner and she graciously stayed on the line while I followed her directions on how to reroute to get there. Great people. Our company is located in St Charles, MO. We had a customer in a mobile marketing vehicle in the Paramus NJ area.
