Matt came out with another Matt. Excellent service! I have real wood blinds, which he has to hand wash, rather than put through his machine. Although not their favorite type of blind to clean, they didn't complain! They took down, cleaned and put 8 blinds back where they hang in 1.5 hours! They did this all in their van. No mess, no fuss. If you want to reschedule your appointment four times and have Matt show up to approximately zero of them, this is the company for you! The lack of professionalism is astounding. Based on other reviews it seems like the quality of work would be a hit or a miss. I wish I could at least comment on that aspect, but that would require him to actually show up to an appointment. Beyond disappointed. He was supposed to arrive this morning, called an hour before the scheduled time asking if he could push the appointment to the afternoon. He didn't show up at all. If you're goal is to babysit an unprofessional man who will SORTA (30%) get your blinds clean then Matt is your man (and he's the owner, EEK!) I am a property manager and I have seen his work on 8+ cleanings because we would offer his services to our tenants who were moving out. He would have to reschedule 9 times out of 10. One time he rescheduled with me 4 times on ONE apartment so finally I had to hire someone else to clean the blinds as the new tenant was moving in. This was a period of a week and a half that he couldn't make it to clean the blinds. He used to do a fairly good job cleaning and he was reasonably priced. I just had him clean a unit for me on Friday and you can't even tell the blinds were cleaned. I'm actually not sure that they were. See pics. I hired Matt Butler and this company to repair two mini blinds. He came to my residence and restrung both. One mini got stuck/failed to work in less than a week. I've been chasing Matt for more than a month to get him to honor his work and repair the failed mini blind. He is difficult to reach and he has provided a dozen excuses. He has refused to honor his work and in retrospect it was a mistake hiring/trusting him. Don't risk it, find someone else to do business with. I would not hire Matt or Mobile Sonic Blind Cleaning again! read more

I gave one star b/c Matt showed up when he said he would. My cellular shades were older, which I had told him when we scheduled. It wasn't until they were in the water in the tank in his truck that Matt told me that he couldn't use any cleaning solution due to the age of the blinds. I was a little concerned, but at that point, there wasn't much I could do but wait and see how they looked. Matt tried to tell me that they looked cleaner after he was done with them, but they looked just the same to me. There is also a tear in one area that wasn't there before. Matt told me I could fix it with crazy glue, and that he didn't have any with him. I hoped that they'd look cleaner the next day, after they had dried, but no such luck. So I called, and then Matt told me that he definitely got some dirt out, but that UV damage discolors them, and that they really were cleaner, but just didn't look it. If he had told me that before he pulled them down, I'd have told him not to bother, and I would have put that money toward new shades. My goal was to have them look cleaner - not just as dirty as they had before. Matt then agreed to give me a credit for all but the trip fee, which I thought was fair. That was just over 3 weeks ago, and I haven't seen my refund yet. I've called and left at least 6 messages and spoken to Matt once or twice in that time. He told me that he'd put a check in the mail almost 2 weeks ago, but that was apparently a lie. All in all - very disappointing! read more

Matt came out to clean our white linen blinds. Everything went well, super friendly and polite but they dried yellow in parts. He kept saying 100% satisfaction guarantee for his customers and initially offered to come fix it but then just stopped responding to me. The blinds look worse than when I started and might even be ruined. Not a great way to run a business to "guarantee" your work then not follow through. Best blind cleaning service in San Diego! Matt arrived as scheduled, removed all the faux-wood blinds, cleaned them in his service truck and re-hung them. The blinds are very clean and nothing was damaged. Matt even pointed out a cord on one of the blinds that was close to breaking & replaced it at a very reasonable price. I did some research before coming across Mobile Sonic Blind Cleaning. I am so glad I did! Not only was it very affordable and within my budget, but it was also nice to have my blinds clean right there on the spot, instead of having to have them taken down and sent away, not knowing whether I would receive them back the same day or not. It eliminated my wonder of what to put up until they returned. I was fortunate enough to have Matt, the owner come out to clean my blinds. He was very personable, and pleasant to talk to.
