Emily was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, patient, and understanding. She guided me through the entire process step by step and took the time to explain everything clearly. Since it was my first time, I was honestly a little scared. Even though I was experiencing very little pain, I still felt nervous. Emily was so understanding that whenever I felt scared, she stopped and gave me the time I needed. She never pressured me or tried to rush the procedure. Her patience and kindness made me feel completely comfortable and safe throughout the entire appointment. She truly took her time, and that made such a difference for me. As far as the pain level, I would honestly rate it 1-2 out of 10, which was almost nothing! I also want to give a big thank-you to the front desk staff. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and friendly, and they definitely made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. And once again, thank you so much, Emily! However, she has seemingly vanished and I cannot reach anyone to schedule an appointment despite multiple phone calls, voicemails, and texts. I paid $1200 for 6 treatments of my underarms and bikini area, and started to have trouble scheduling appointments after my second visit. Now I have been unable to reach her for several months. It's unclear whether the business is still operating, as I never saw anyone other than Julia in the office, but I am fairly sure I will never be getting the remaining 2 treatments that I paid for.

Imagine my shop when my never aging wife tells me that not only do THEY use Botox but she has been doing it for years and also get juvederm for lip injections. After fighting the shock and making a mental note to start checking the bank account on a regular basis, I was more curious then ever. Next thing you know, we're at a salon in downtown and were speaking to a doctor. I'm the type of husband that once the wife says to do it, I do it. So I signed some forms and got a couple needle pricks. The doc that did assured me that I would still look natural and not resemble the housewives of anything. So, couple days pass and I don't see any changes. Patience is not my virtue and I'm sure many can relate to the frustration of not having what you paid for, but to keep the Mrs. Happy, I keep my mouth shut and decided to just let it go. The next day, it kicked in and I couldn't move my forehead or make those lines around my eyes. It has now been almost 5 months since I had it done and I can still see the effect and I'm going to continue doing it. Heck, I might even try some laser hair removal one of these days. Even though I am happy with the outcome of the Botox, my review is to applaud Avalon Medical Spa on their customer service. About a week after the appointment, Julia called to follow up and see if I had any questions or concerns. And just yesterday I received another call. She said she knew I lived out of town and couldn't come in again, but offered to take some time to find a good doctor in my area and send him my treatment records to make sure i received the same results and thank me again for coming in. Anyway, owning my own company, I know that little things like that go a long way so I wanted to share my experience with the rest of Yelp.

Down the long hallway there's several doors and each one is a private massage room along with a foot massage rooms that are for tandem from site so you don't have a whole crowd of people lined up one next to the other. Mindy gave me at my foot massage for an hour and proceeded my back with my feet soaked which is the usual ritual. She then sat me back on the very comfortable chair and I dozed off as she massaged and gave me reflexology on my feet, which was absolutely wonderful. She had a strong grip and that's my preference. She kept asking me " is this okay this is okay" and of course it was okay so that was a little distracting at times. But she was very sweet about it I was just in deep slumber. While there are a few very good massage therapists here, it has become clear that they do not honor their call -ahead appointments. Over the last few years, I have been double booked at the same time as somebody else numerous times. When I am the first of the two booked clients to get there, I get the massage, but my massage therapist has had to leave the room a few minutes into the session to address an angry customer in the waiting room who arrived only to find they have been double booked and have no session. Today, I arrived to find out my therapist was in a session and would not be available for another hour. So I reluctantly agreed to give someone I don't know a try, and that was a big mistake. She took forever to even come to the room, and then when she did and I laid down, nothing happened for at least a minute and so I looked up and saw her standing there scrolling her phone!!! She continued for nearly a minute and I started to sit up and she exclaimed, "What are you doing? Relax, I will do my best." I laid back down. Then...nothing again. I looked up again and she was scrolling her phone again! At some point she started and the massage was weak. I asked her to add more strength and she sighed with exasperation and did not make any change. I then got up and said I would reschedule. She stormed out. As I was getting dressed, the other woman from the front desk who had convinced me to give that first therapist a try came in and offered to do my massage herself. I agreed and laid back down. Thankfully, she actually had good strength and was respectful and professional. The chaos that occurred today was ridiculous. This is not the first time I have arrived at Asiami to find out that my therapist was double booked. Even worse, the first therapist I was set up with today was extremely rude and not even competent at the job when she finally did start. I am dumbfounded as to why Asiami would hire someone that is so unprofessionaI. If I have another experience like today's at Asiami, I may permanently take my business elsewhere. Please stop double booking your call ahead appointments!!!
