I get monthly blood draws and need reliable service. This company provides just that with same-day appointments in the home.

They are cold, uncaring, unsympathetic, and downright lazy. When I first checked in they were all sitting around eating food, playing on their phones, and talking with each other. I had to wait for them to finish a conversation about in-office gossip before they even acknowledged I was standing there. After an hour of waiting I went to ask why my appointment was scheduled an hour ago and I was still waiting, and I believe they never even finished checking me in the first time because after the 2nd time I went to the counter my therapist came to get me within 5 minutes. In addition to that, they just don't answer the damn phones and sometimes straight up ignore them ringing. When they DO answer the phone, they will put you on hold. Then another person will pick up the phone 5 minutes later and put you BACK on hold. Eventually you will end up at the voice-mailbox but they will never return your call. I tried for three days straight, calling 4-5 times per day over a 4 hour period, and each and every time I ended up leaving a voicemail that never got returned. When I was there for my appointment there were 4 receptionists and not a single one of them were doing their damn job. If they replace the front-office staff then this could be a decent facility, but until then I suggest finding another mental-health care facility.

The counselors have questionable training, shaky ethics and often seem to bring personal bias to their interactions with clients. There is a streak of cruelty and a disingenuous quality to their advice. Record keeping is sloppy and test results lost. At one point they insisted that I'd never had a particular test, thus nothing to report. Some weeks later, the results miraculously surfaced. Sadly, many of the clientele appear to be extremely vulnerable folk with limited choices. I realized that I had a choice. I heartily recommend that you avoid Terros. This place is toxic.

Of course check in is on a smartpad. You know who struggles w that? Lots of people! Older people, people with vision issues, people w oddball medical plans, people with language barriers. But mostly seniors/older people. I watched an elderly man attempt to get help multiple times. I won't go into his personal details, but at least 7 people checked in before he was checked in. Someone at lab told me "times have changed" when I brought this up to staff, but there's a huge population that were not born in a digital age, that adopted technology when it was available, as adults. It's wrong- this digital gatekeeper way of running a business that involves humans- including the old and sick. Once in the back, I was treated well, as I always am by the staff at Sonora Quest. Professional courteous phlebotomist. Labcorp is even worse.

Two suggestions: Address is now 1010 E. McDowell, not 926 E. McDowell. The check in kiosk is convenient for tech savvy people, but the elderly could find it very challenging. Adding a person to assist those who are not computer savvy would be nice.
