My experience here was horrible. I was persuaded to return "for my own good" after suggestions that I was "too sensitive" and so on. This is a terrible place. The counselors have questionable training, shaky ethics and often seem to bring personal bias to their interactions with clients. There is a streak of cruelty and a disingenuous quality to their advice. Record keeping is sloppy and test results lost. At one point they insisted that I'd never had a particular test, thus nothing to report. Some weeks later, the results miraculously surfaced. Sadly, many of the clientele appear to be extremely vulnerable folk with limited choices. I realized that I had a choice. I heartily recommend that you avoid Terros. This place is toxic. read more

I have been getting services here since I moved here in February of 2021, and I can honestly say that this places has been a constant let down since I started services. Their staff on the phone are not welcoming, I mean literally every three months is a shit show when I call for my check up. I almost feel that I'm inconveniencing them. They change policies here and there, and don't update their patients. They are not clear on appointment times, and literally don't care for you at all. The front-office staff (receptionists, etc) are absolutely terrible. So far my therapist has been great overall, and the pharmacy staff are AMAZING, but the reception staff who answer the phones and check patients in are just awful. They are cold, uncaring, unsympathetic, and downright lazy. When I first checked in they were all sitting around eating food, playing on their phones, and talking with each other. I had to wait for them to finish a conversation about in-office gossip before they even acknowledged I was standing there. After an hour of waiting I went to ask why my appointment was scheduled an hour ago and I was still waiting, and I believe they never even finished checking me in the first time because after the 2nd time I went to the counter my therapist came to get me within 5 minutes. In addition to that, they just don't answer the damn phones and sometimes straight up ignore them ringing. When they DO answer the phone, they will put you on hold. Then another person will pick up the phone 5 minutes later and put you BACK on hold. Eventually you will end up at the voice-mailbox but they will never return your call. I tried for three days straight, calling 4-5 times per day over a 4 hour period, and each and every time I ended up leaving a voicemail that never got returned. When I was there for my appointment there were 4 receptionists and not a single one of them were doing their damn job. If they replace the front-office staff then this could be a decent facility, but until then I suggest finding another mental-health care facility. read more

The absolute worst facility I've ever been to. I had to wait over a month and a half to be seen. When I arrived for my appointment, there was no one available to see me. The staff laughed at the fact that everyone called off. They suggested they should call off. With the exception of the receptionist and office manager, everyone else is trash. this has got to be the worst behavioral health center. apart from my physician everyone else sucks. the ladies at the front desk are so rude and unprofessional. they refuse to greet you and talk to you like you're stupid, i over heard a couple of them making fun of a patient, and they openly and loudly have talked crap about another coworker in front of the whole waiting area. it was so bad that i switched to virtual visits only and yet i'm still having problems. i was sent to voicemail numerous times. i left a couple messages but never heard back. and then i called repeatedly today because three different people hung up on me. finally i was able to reach someone and asked for a manager just to find out that there wasn't one in office today. i'm the last person to complain, but damn this place is awful. go to a different location. read more

Don't even waste your time with this group. NO LOCATION IS SAFE. I was seeking psychiatric help to deal with Lyme Disease and other medical issues. Finally after months of intakes and schedule changes from them... today was my day to see Joyce, who is a therapist at the 6153 W. Olive location. First off, I arrived at 8:10 for an 8:15 check in and 8:30 appointment. Signed in, and sat down. Never once was I acknowledged or did anyone even try to make eye contact. I sat there for 45 minutes before I finally decided to find out what was going on. All I can say is these people are incompetent. I never even got to see the therapist as I couldn't make it past the front office staff. These people have no clue how to run a business and they need to learn some customer service. Super disappointed, as it was a two month process to get to this point. Lots of BS on their side with 2 separate intakes with 2 separate people. I would simply suggest avoiding this group entirely. read more

DO NOT GO TO TERROS! I needed help and needed a psychiatrist and Instead I was seeing a nurse practitioner that was not a Board Certified psychiatrist. They passed me around to different NP's and said their is only one board Certified Psychiatrist but it is very different to meet with him. The NP's just prescribe medication like candy. The NP put me on a medication called Paxil and the NP never told me that the side effects and withdrawals where extremely bad. I had sever withdrawals that I ended up getting sick and side effects effected my daily life. The NP's there don't know what they are doing. I am happy that I got away and found a REAL board certified psychiatrist and they have helped me get off that medication and put me on the right one and I am currently stable now. I recommend to find a board certified psychiatrist not a nurse practitioner they are NOT psychiatrists! And they work under a psychiatrists name and all they do is prescribe unnecessary medications when you really don't need them. I wouldn't even give them a star. read more
