I took my Apple laptop to get a Diagnost to see why my laptop was running slow. This laptop is use for only music since I DJ. It turns out to be that when i went back on the next day to pick it up, the rep who worked on my laptop deleted all my DJ music especially when I had told them NOT to mess or jeopardize my music. I am beyond upset and feels destroyed to know that I trusted this company with my laptop. I have some event to DJ, now I need to find a way to get somehow some of my 12 years music. I rarely go out of my way to give bad reviews but this is an exception. I came her since my daughter's macpro laptop display was cracked and needed replacement. I asked the guy at the front Vince, what would be the cost of replacing the display. He responded with we need to diagnose the issue before providing a price which I understood but I wanted a ballpark since I may be able to buy a new one for the cost of the repair. He then proceeded to tell me how complicated this would be to provide a quote without diagnosing the problem. I simply asked for reasonable guess based on a replacement display needed and labor understanding that it could be more of there was something else wrong with laptop. He then said I was being rather aggressive and then asked that I leave the store. I requested to the see the manager or owner and he said that I needed to leave the store and his manager would come out. After some unfriendly exchanges, I waited outside for the manager (justice). He came out reasonably quick and responded to my question within a minute into our discussion. No one needed to be kicked out for asking questions that were easily answered. Justice was straightforward in providing what I was looking for. There is no room for incompetence and arrogance in a small business and would go elsewhere to avoid arrogant pricks like Vince. If you must come here, ask for Justice, and you'll probably be ok. read more

Last December, my vintage iMac screen faded to stripe bar/ black and I was concerned about the supply chain issues around the holidays! The Camarillo Mobile Kangaroo is much more convenient than the Apple Stores! Christian, after a $65 diagnosis non refundable deposit, gave me a fairly reasonable repair estimate (Apple prices = reasonable?). The Apple display assembly parts arrived in days & due to quick turnaround, I could use my iMac before Christmas! Shout outs to both Linda & Christian for their efficient courteous follow through. iMac is still working. read more

Fantastic place. I took my sons MacBook in for repairs and they were great. Then upon picking up the MacBook, I notice my iPhone needed a new battery...they did it without hesitation. It took 1 hour and they were great! I highly recommend this Apple approved place for all your needs. read more

These guys kinda sucked - didn't fix my machine, charged a nice coin, were very unresponsive to my messages, didn't reply to my final question, weren't available via phone, but worst of all, dude behind the counter got superpissed when I requested that he come out from behind the counter and accept my laptop at the front door so I didn't have to come in. It was five steps for him to do so, but he was obviously pissed so he kept me, and then the four people waiting in line outside behind me, waiting for 20 minutes until I finally pushed the door open and apologized for 'not asking perhaps nicely enough and could you pretty please come to the door and take my machine, because I'm at risk for Covid and would prefer not to come into the store?" He grudgingly then came out, having punished me enough. A big nope to these guys. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. I paid a $65 "diagnosis fee" for a software issue that I was already aware of. I was supposed to have a proper diagnosis within 2 hours. I got a missed call the next day (no voicemail or second attempt to reach me). So I stopped by the store to see if they had fixed my MacBook Pro. The employee stated that he was "unable to leave a voicemail because my voicemail box was full" which is complete BS and he told me in person that he still didn't know what the diagnosis was "because he was new". I left my computer with them for another day and when I went back they told me that my hard drive was dead and I was going to need to pay roughly $300 for a new one. They refused to print out my diagnosis or give me a written write up on what they did to my computer while it was in their hands until I became upset and told them that it was very unprofessional. The two men working there kept going behind the back of wall and leaving me in the lobby. Eventually I got a poorly typed up explanation that my hard drive couldn't hold the software. The men were very rude and unprofessional throughout the whole process. The next day I walked into an Apple store and they had my computer running within an hour - no hardware or hard drive issues and completely free. The apple tech explained to me if I needed a new hard drive it would only cost $80 max - NOT $300. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. read more

I'm happy and impressed! Camarillo, we have a new Apple Service provider in town. No more trips to the Apple Store in Thousand Oaks or elsewhere. This small storefront in the Las Posas Plaza was able to solve a very complicated phone and Apple account lock problem. I accessed the Apple Website to make a reservation after spending at least two hours trying to solve my issues with the Apple self help on line. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw Mobil Kangaroo close to my home that could help me. Thank you Justice, you were very courteous and efficient. read more

What a fantastic surprise! My phone screen was rendered useless after it hit the floor while in my purse... Not shattered or broken, just lines interrupting the screen and some of the screen nonresponsive. After going on the Apple site to get a genius appointment (first available was 5 days later!) Mobil kangaroo was suggested as an alternate place to go. I made an appointment for the same day and called ahead of time to double check what they thought the repair would take in terms of time. They were very friendly, helpful and accurate about what they said over the phone and what was eventually done. After the plan was discussed, my iPhone X was repaired within an hour. I highly recommend Mobil kangaroo as a alternative to going to the local malls Apple store (I believe they also can help with iPads and Mac computers...). read more

O. which is fair but their service was very easy and they were very nice and willing to clearly explain the options and what they did. I had a problem with my iMac computer I went on Apple's website and this was one of their authorized repair places. I set up an appointment with them through the Apple website. Upon my arrival I was greeted in a very professional manner. They gave me a 3 to 4 day turnaround time, the called me back in four days, my issue was fixed and covered under Apple's warranty. I would definitely go back to them and recommend them to a friend. read more

Absolutely horrible place of business. Run the other direction. I had a scheduled repair, through Apple, and they were clueless as to my situation, and after repeated requests, the tech came out to talk to me and was rude and could have cared less about my situation. They are slow, difficult to get ahold of (there phone system is a joke), and could care less about their customers. read more

Contact them in advance before going in and ask questions! Waste of time. I spent time with apple support for hours and with the apple store closed apple is supposedly using this location for help. I was told by apple they will load the software boot at no charge since they are helping out with quarantine issued by the state. Apple said Max would be $25 but should have zero charge. Apple made an appointment for me at 4pm. I drove from Simi to Camarillo because it was the closest 3rd party to help Apple during this time. I showed ho for my 4pm appointment, the gentleman said the software installed was $99 & he hasn't heard of Apple working with them at all! Either the guy had no clue or they are truly trying to make a dollar and capitalize on this. With home school now in full swing for all parents, I need to get another laptop up and going. You guys need to figure this out with Apple so families aren't driving all over to recieve a falsified service. I recommend you contact Apple and tell them you are not going to assist for "free" and you will charge your price. read more

My iPhone charger wasn't working--and as high risk I really haven't been leaving my house. I was able to get an appointment the same day, my phone was fixed in minutes at a very fair price. They practiced all the Covid restrictions and were personable at the same time. They were great. I highly recommend them!! read more

I needed keyboard repair for my MacBook Pro and Mobile Kangaroo responded to my text right away and they were able to replace what needed to be fixed within days- and it was free bc it was covered under my warranty! This place was amazing! Im not as savvy as most when it comes to computers, however I new I had a problem with my MacBook Pro that I was not able to fix on my own. I called mobile kangaroo and spoke to Emilie who was very knowledgeable to my computer issue and was able to get me an appointment the same day. I really enjoyed her willingness to help. It made me feel like there was light at the end of the tunnel with my issue. I was concerned with how I was going to get payment over to them since i was leaving town for the week and Emilie advised me I was able to pay through their link they would send after completing the diagnostic service. Having that service available was the best, of course after their customer service. When I picked up my MacBook Pro I did speak with a different employee(i didn't catch her name) and she was great as well. My over all experience in dealing with this company and location was great!!!! I would definitely refer my friends and family and anyone else who may need electronic repairs. read more

I'm not very tech literate but i need my computer for work. Unfortunately the keys on my 2017 macbook pro started to feel stiff and would not press at all, the spacebar and G key actually fell off! I went to the apple store and they said it would cost me 600 dollars to repair because keys falling off means physical damage. I wasn't very pleased hearing this so i went to Mobile Kangaroo and the technicians there were very pleasant and professional. They told me that apple offers a quality program for the keyboard and they were able to fix it for FREE. I left my computer there and got a call within the next week that my computer was ready to be picked up. This was much faster and the technicians there are very kind and professional. I would highly recommend coming here instead of the apple store since they fixed my issue in a timely manner and on top of that they were really cool and nice to talk to! read more

The front desk staff were professional and explained the process and I was informed it would be 2-3 business days before I got my laptop back.
