I went online and found Blue Star and they had great reviews. So I stopped by before work yesterday to get an estimate. I wasn't going to spend over $400. The boss complimented my taste in cars and said his young guy will fix it right now. Twenty minutes later it looked perfect (except for the many scratches from parking on the street in NYC for 14 years). I asked him how much-- let me just say I left there very very happy- and gave the guy a $20 tip for his quick work. I couldn't wait to tell the guys at work my positive New York experience!

Then of course they held my car hostage or made me feel like my car would not be right if I didn't keep the work they did. It's nasty. Thought he was going convince me into keeping the work after I told him to remove. And to know it's coming from the owner Ifran there's no resolving or changing it. Paid just to get my car out of their garage. Who knows what else they would have done to it to up charge me. Don't trust them with my car anymore. Either they don't know what they're doing and expect you to pay for their mistakes or their greedy and will bait and switch you once they're in possession of your car. Nasty work.

These are the things I value in a car body shop: knowledge of my particular make & model,…read morehonesty/transparency in diagnosing and recommending fixes with reasonable costs, easy communication throughout and strong follow through. You give me that and I'll never go anywhere else. And that's exactly how I'd describe Best Service Auto Body. Both Alex and Yuro are awesome at what they do. I've been there twice with a 2017 BMW X3 xDrive28i and have needed a new driver side fender, sunroof drains cleaned out, brake pads and indicator sensors replaced, oil change, etc. The fender was the biggest job so far - I think some random person was walking around one night and just decided to kick mine in for some reason. It wasn't hit by a car because the paint was intact; regardless, I needed to get a new fender as it was bent so bad. Given this car is 9 years old with white paint I thought the new fender would stand out in noticeable contrast to the weathered paint on the rest of the car, e.g., the hood, door, roof, etc. I was totally wrong (see before and after pics) - I don't know how Yuro did it but he matched my paint color and then blended it so well I can't even tell a new fender was put on! You definitely can't get that level of service just anywhere, especially without paying extra. You can tell they take great pride in their work. As if that wasn't enough, they cleaned my car for free before they gave it back to me. Apparently there was some chemical substance that got on the window and paint the day before I dropped it off. No matter, all gone. All of this has been at half or less than what a dealer would charge. These guys are the best, and the name says it. Go there and you won't be disappointed.
