The staff made sure my experience was different than buying a dinner dress. Instead, we discussed plumbing, use, and durability. They even helped coordinate colors and accessories - none of which involve their products (unless you want a colored commode I guess). After with their help, I made my choices, they held the stuff. Why? So when my "man" picked it up I would get a builder discount. Nice. I think they deliver as well - everything is ordered. Doing business was easy. Shopping there is almost as fun as patio furniture/grill/new mattress shopping.

We had received a call from Trinity but she was on lunch, but Ryan was knowledgeable and pleasant so we appreciated working with him. He compared prices for us between a few different options we had considered, and we wound up placing an order then. Trinity later came back from lunch and tried to railroad her way into the meeting which we did not appreciate. Hearing some of the things she said came off as problematic rather than solutions; we'd have preferred her leaving us alone to work with Ryan. Things that did not matter to us or even pertain to us/our home were interjected into our meeting. We could tell it was annoying for everyone involved. It would've been a more pleasant visit had we been left to work with Ryan alone... Based on his helpfulness and knowledge, we'd come back and seek him out if we need something again. Thanks Ryan!

Coming here the first time I thought "hey nice laundromat, new machines, clean facility". But after…read morecoming the second time to wash an extremely large comforter, I find this laundromat is an overpriced monopoly. I went to load my big blankie in the large front loader and saw the price was $7. Ok that's a bit much and I should've looked further down and could've used the $5 ones but I digress. After putting my soap in, I start funneling quarters in and figure I should set it to use hot water....hot water is $1 more! Lol so it is $8 just to wash my blanket. Whatever too late now, so finish filling the quarters, press start and the thing shows a wash time of only 23 minutes! How does my comforter ever have a chance of washing out the dog hair, dog stink, human stench and whatever dna is splashed within its fibers in a measley 23 minutes?! After the pathetic wash cycle I move said blanket to the dryer to find it's another $2 to get this thing going for 30 minutes. I run to my car and find 2 more quarters under my seat to make it $2.50 for 40 minutes and select the hot setting. No biggie here because laundromat dryers get insanely hot so I should be good right? I leave to have lunch, return and the blanket is still wet and I'm out of quarters so I take it home and finish the drying of my still "smells like dog" blanket at home. Guess if I have future washing needs that are too big for my set at home I will have to drive to Spanish fort the next closest facility. Sounds like a good business opportunity to open a new Laundromat and give this place some much needed competition. FAIL!

Nate was our technician, and though our equipment was fully functional, I like to have maintenance done to keep things running well. Pelican responded within 20 minutes of my request, scheduled for the next day, and 100% provided a great once-over on my washer and dryer. Nate also gave us some tips on how to keep all of our appliances running smooth in the future. However, if anything breaks, I know who to call! :) Thank you Pelican for the great service, and we will see you next year for another maintenance check!
