These guys are phenomenal. We originally went to them for the first time a few years ago when we…read morehad a basic 15 ft round Walmart pool and needed help with a spare part for the pump. My husband and an employee ended up getting into a conversation about the previous owners of our home leaving an old Hayward pool pump and filter system here. Next thing you know, we left with pipes and parts needed to connect that pump to our pool. The following March, we were back there again, only this time it was to purchase a much bigger and better above ground pool from them. We opted for the 15ft x 30ft oval pool, 52" deep. They made the process easy, and within a month, our pool was installed and ready to go. It would have only been 2 weeks, but weather was consistently nasty and the date kept getting pushed back. They even make bundle packages to include decks, which we took advantage of. Since then, we've used them for products, free water testing, advice, and more. It's always a pleasure going to Spa and Tub, and the kids love getting to see all of the hot tub and pool displays when we go in. These guys (and ladies!) are always incredibly helpful teaching me how to keep my pool top notch and sparkling clean, and never try to sell us anything we don't need. I trust them 100%. If cleaning and maintaining your pool isn't your thing, they offer those services as well. Give them a call.

DISCLAIMER: Spa & Tub along with their main installer, Sean, are highly recommended. My experience…read moreis below------- Bought a 15x30 pool and I think I'm going to love it. I'm not sure yet, because I haven't been able to use it. My backyard was a tricky install due to a very steep slope. Communication was severely lacking with the plan and install. Salesman didn't go over any install plans, just said an installer would get with me due to the install being unique. Our installer (Sean) was very polite and seemed very knowledgeable. The install requires 2 retaining walls, the First was done quickly to allow the pool install. The second one took 3 days of phone calls before someone showed up. Once they did arrive (after 5 pm) I had to leave and asked if I could just leave payment with them. Owner (Zeb) asked me to leave it in his truck. Opened his door and there were bottles of beer with condensation on them, obviously cold, so not only were they drinking while working on my property, but also driving. I was left with a huge gap between my house and retaining wall. When I called to see about someone returning to fill that in, I was told that was my responsibility unless I paid an additional $500 after I had already paid a total of $5700 for install and retaining walls. So, I spent a week after working my regular job outside with a shovel to fill in the gap so my foundation to my home wouldn't crack. I'm sure this review should have gone somewhere else, that Pool and Spa are simply selling a product and then done with it, but anyone reading this needs to be aware of what happens after you buy. Ask questions, be persistent and demand all steps in writing. I would buy a product from Pool and Spa but wouldn't recommend any work done by Zeb or Brown Construction.

After investing thousands of dollars for a pool renovation with Gulf Pool Pros, I've been left with: * An incomplete renovation that took over THREE TIMES longer than promised * Multiple unfinished elements that they never returned to complete * Newly installed features that are already deteriorating (several pictures attached) * A project manager who was apparently fired mid-project * Multiple broken promises from the owner who personally visited to assure us things would be fixed * Complete silence/ghosting when we've tried to follow up * Main Drain that was left clogged and inoperable * 2 of the 4 return jets were galvanized steel and are inoperable Despite numerous attempts to resolve these issues directly with the company, they have stopped responding to all communications. I'm now pursuing formal complaints with the relevant authorities. I strongly urge anyone considering hiring Gulf Pool Pros to contact me directly for additional details of my experience before signing any contracts. I'm happy to share documentation and photos of the incomplete work. Feel free to message me for more information. I'm posting this as a last resort after multiple attempts to resolve this matter directly with the company.

To make a long story short the process from dig day forward was very frustrating. I am a home builder, so I am familiar with construction processes, contractors, and scheduling. In the very beginning, I requested to be given a seasoned superintendent for my project. What I got was a messenger. 99% of my questions could not be answered, and unfortunately a few build details were overlooked or installed improperly and had to be corrected. This was not because I did't express my concern but more because it just went in one ear and out the other. I ended up working with John the manager after a certain point in time. Fortunately, he saw to it to make things right. My 1st pool school was rushed and lacked the "Congratulations on your new pool, I'm here to teach you how to maintain it" attitude. This was my first pool, I was a deer in headlights. Eventually, they sent a second pool school technician to me by the name of Brian Heathcoe. What a wonderful human being Brian is!. He showed me every process on maintaining the pool and was patient enough to answer my 100 questions. I've had my pool for 10 months now and there has been a time or two when I was unsure of something and reached out to Brian on his cell phone. He answered immediately and took care of me. He has since been promoted, and I can understand why. Blue Haven needs to hire more people like Brian! My bottom line suggestion is if you go with Blue Haven on the Gulf make sure you communicate and hold them accountable to what they say they're going to do. One last thing, if you want an amazing and patient designer then ask for Amy Wright!
