In addition, RCS serves as mail stop for locals. RCS is not your go to for your big shopping trip, but a convenient stop over. They have a single gas pump but IDK if it is in service. +. Prices are a bit higher given tiny mountainous Mom and Pop. ++. Service is friendly with a scoop of local knowledge. If you need directions of local (unmarked or detailed directions) interests, they are a good bet. +. Parking is 2-3 spots in front With many small local proprietors shutting shops due to online competition, I'm happy to find RCS is still in business! Normally during the winter season. I walked in through their back door in which the window was steeled bar LOL. The girls we're friendly from the get-go! Either they worked for the family or just seasonal people working through the winter. Very hospitable and friendly upon first interaction. Organized with their products just like a local corner gas station should, though its in the middle of nowhere on Route 22! The restroom was clean and pleasant with a bit of rural northeastern decor. They also have a little sandwich shop which are made by order with local Vermot cheeses if you like. Now they do have only i gas pump which is fine for rural town. The lighting around the around could need some work at there is only one light below the huge Gulf sign shining above. I would rate them 4 star's but instead will add an honorery 1 star just cause...

Awesome General Store!…read more True VT and nicely updated GS. LGS is the heart of Lincoln and it changed hands a couple of years ago. The new owners have done a wonderful job restoring the architecture and updating the store. They scratch make sammies each day and just found that Sandy who used to own the Bobcat pub (Bristol) a few years ago makes burgers on Fridays here :). I used to eat one after my hikes nearby and GTK since Bobcat closed permanently a few weeks ago! LGS has a bit of everything, bevies, caps, groceries, candles, cleaning, fishing supplies etc., and decent gift section too. It's a great stop for the residents, visiting explorers and hikers too as the Long Trail and Mt Abe are close-by. When I visited many residents and kids were coming and going. I saw a young boy putting out ca$h for his candy which was so cute. Sharon behind the counter was friendly and helpful. With many old VT disappearing, I was thrilled to find LGS thriving!
