This is the Best Stewart's gas and food shop in Chestertown…read more Gas is pretty inexpensive. All the food is on sale. Great deals on ice cream, hot dogs, soda, egg nog, beers and pantry foods. There are about 8-10 pumps up front with plenty of space for cars towing boats, jet skis and winter sport equipment like skidoos and skis. The Stewart's staff was pretty amiable and helpful. Even the long lines were no big deal as people were friendly, even talking to strangers and tourists! It is a very large Stewarts with all sorts of isles for anything your household or travel plans could require. Visitors were purchasing ice creams, racks of beer, cigarettes, soda, lottery and food. It's much more than just a normal convenience store. Hot food is outstanding for an in-store deli and I understand there's a reputation for that at this location. I'm not a beer or coffee snob but I really appreciate a wide selection. Most of all, I must say the employees are all very nice and will go out of their way for you. I can't count the number of times they have made my day.
