I very much need to leave a review about one of the employees working here at this Rocket Center…read morenamed Robert. I've been in retail for over 32 years and I've trained almost 4000 employees. I know that retaining employees of high caliber and promoting the highest value employees depends most heavily upon their character. Robert's professionalism and dedication to efficiency was evident during our short transaction whereby he made the most timely efficient decisions to correct the price of the engine oil even though it was only a difference of 1.40. He made amends to the transaction politely, swiftly and professionally above and beyond the call of service. However this isn't where the story ends with this exceptional individual. I shortly noticed that I lost $200 cash when I went to deposit it and realized that I'd lost it between stopping at Robert's store and the bank. I immediately called the store asking for Robert as I luckily had made note of his name and divulged to him the fact that I had lost the money in or around the store. This was in the hopes that in the incredibly off chance that it could be found, and that by some miracle the person that had shown such an incredible degree of professionalism would ALSO be of the highest quality and caliber and most importantly would also have a noble enough character to embody the constitutional wherewithal to return it to me. I was in luck Robert - is and was THAT individual. I offered to buy him anything I could to show him my appreciation but he very stoically and politely declined attesting that he was just happy that he could help. As stated earlier, I've trained THOUSANDS of employees and I can't tell you how rare the type of individual Robert is. I hope with all of my heart that ROCKET sees fit to promote reward and keep this individual as I'm here to attest that he will rise to a level befitting the character and discipline that he exudes. My heart felt thanks to him and his employers and I fervently hope that they will continue to cultivate and support this exemplary leader for the betterment of our society and our nation

The entrances are usually a breeze depending on the time of day and rarely are all pumps full. My favorite thing about this 76 is the convenience store. I always get the warmest and friendly attendants and find some great snacks or liquid fuel (body armor, G2 Gatorade, etc). They definitely cater to the area with good fruit, prepackaged meals/bites and a ton of vegan and gluten free options. The have some outstanding health and safety practices in play at the Ventura Blvd/Van Nuys Blvd 76, easy to see why they do well.

Unless you want to buy an electric car, then you don't need any gas. As I was getting ready to check out, Fahad, the employee asked me if I needed anything else. I grabbed 2 Peanut M&M's and that's all I got from this gas station. It had a Food Mart, fully stocked, clean and organized. It had so many good items. From beverages to candy, to ice cream, to baked goods, all the way to snacks. My pump was #8. All the pumps were in good condition. Working fine. The gas station itself was very clean and had all the essentials for your vehicle. From air to pump your tires, to the bucket full of soap & water to clean your windshield and the other windows, an ICE machine outside. Didn't take a photo of that, because there were people standing there and getting ice. My 2 M&M's costed me $2.99 for each one. Total came out to be $35.98. Had a small talk with Daniel, grabbed my lottery tickets, got my gas and left. All the pumps were working fine, it had a very tiny mini market called Rocket. Inside of the mini market was fully stocked and clean. Same goes for the gas station. I didn't know that they are affiliated with Vons, or else I would have used my rewards program. It's ok, maybe next time. They also had good deals on water and some stuff inside the mini mart. I put the cigarette back since last time when I bought it for her, she never paid me. So she can buy her own cigarets. It has a mini market, an air hose, buckets full of water and soap to clean your windshield and your other windows (which I used), and an Ice machine outside. The gas station was very clean along with the store. Everything was nicely stocked and full. All the pumps were working fine, and the pump that I used was #6. I don't understand why all the bad, negative reviews? If you don't fill up your tank, how are you guys going to get around? That's what I don't understand.It even has a 7-Eleven nearby.. I plugged in the number and I had 20 cents rewards which I selected. I guess I took too long to swipe my card and the cashier cancelled my transaction. I typed in my phone number again and I now had no rewards available. So this business took away my rewards but didn't actually let me use them. Super nice of them in this economy when they're charging almost five dollars for gas.
