This gas station isn't the best but it was almost an emergency situation. When we pulled into the lot, the first gas pump station we were going to park at was a no go because someone didn't put the gas pump back so it was on the floor. So we went to pump 7 and I didn't want to take the risk of a card skimmer so I paid with the cashier. You can pay outside so that's what I did. If you have the option to go to another gas station then I would recommend that but if you need gas asap then this place is an option since it's near CSUN as well.

The expiration policy appears to be a new implementation. In the past, my washes never expired, and there was no clear warning from staff about this change. You have to notice it yourself. They have no problem bolding the total or the codes, but the expiration date just blends in with all the other writing on the receipt for you to not notice. I lost two washes due to expiration, which I accept responsibility for. However, I do NOT accept losing a wash because the code didn't work BEFORE it expired. When I brought it to the attention of the employee, there was no effort made to help or make it right. Selling prepaid services that customers can't redeem is a SCAM. At the end of the day, it's the principle. I've recommended this touchless car wash to many people over the years, but never again. Lost a long-time customer.

So I went across the street and was denied and then came here, to the Mobil. I explained I had a senior in bed of a restroom. The cashier was so friendly and kind. He came out and unlocked the restroom for her. He held the door for us while I helped her out of the car. And smiled. He was patient with her slow steps. He saved the day! And on top of it all, the bathrooms were clean! The lot was swept and stocked. I didn't go in the store, but I know what gas station I'll choose next time I need gas in the area. Thank you again! She had a flat and the attendant told her to move from the side area where no one was at to the air/water area. Her tire was visibly torn, so air was not the issue. It just looked like the attendant wanted to make this lady's day worse. I can't get behind bad people and bad business. Go to the Chevron right next to the freeway, it's actually less expensive and the attendants don't bother you. Oh, and never buy a car wash here. It "broke" right after I paid for a wash.

So I move my car (it's in a position where she can clearly see it from the window) and go over to the air machine. I wait about a minute to see if she turns it on (I thought she was too concentrated on her task and might've forgotten), and it doesn't come on so I walk back to the register, tell her I'm ready to use the air machine, and if she could activate it. She very rudely tells me that I need to make a purchase, like I wasn't just at the window attempting to pay for gas--I don't know why I needed to but I had to explain to her that I was just there trying to purchase gas but she was busy. Air is free for paying customers and I know I haven't paid yet but I did make an attempt and she should have activated the machine--any other gas station would have in this situation and I was going to purchase gas regardless. I was appalled by her rudeness and attitude that I told her that I wasn't going to waste my time waiting for her to finish and then I can then pump gas and then get air, so I just left.
