Who is the guy working today at 10 am. He's beyond rude. I don't get how you even have people like that working there. He literally almost took me out of character the way he talked to me. He said they are only taking credit for std and I'm like okay so when I put my card in it gives me an option to put my pin. So if it were only running credit who would it give that option. Either way starting to put in numbers. Then he screams at me why am I putting in a pin if he said credit only. But like scream like if I was someone he knew or something because no way anyone in their right mind would scream at a customer that way. Beyond disgusted. These guys have the cheapest cheapest gas in the neighborhood absolutely hands-down no question about it. I don't know if it's actually water mixed with vegetable oil from Costco or is it actually canola oil either way it works cause obviously these cars don't really need much even though I have electric right now, but I know for a fact, they're the cheapest gas in the neighborhood use them. read more

The rudest attendant I've ever dealt with. The man yelled at me, refused to help me, or provide me a refund for the money I was owed. He wouldn't give me the manager information or contact number, or even tell me his own name. Worst gas station experience ever and I will never be returning. The gas station on the corner of Riverside and Woodman Avenue in Los Angeles has to be the very worst gas station I have ever ever gone to. Every single time I pull into that station there is a problem. Sometimes there's no attendance behind the glass and sometimes there's a sign saying that they've taken a break and there's a long line of people waiting to pay cash because cash price is lower but they you to pay higher prices when they're not there. Also, the machine machines are often broken. Today the regular fuel choice was broken me to have to choose the choice that's per gallon. This is a scam and I'm never going there again! I demanded my money back and I did not buy fuel there. I will never buy fuel there. It is a mediocre slip shot piece of crap operation with the grossest attendents they could find. read more

Lazy workers more interested in playing w/ their phone then managing a station. No receipt paper in units, no signs indicating Regular Fuel Only (when that's all they have), broken down pumps. But what they do have is an attitude - I will avoid pumping gas here from now on. read more

I gave the guy $100 expecting to fill my tank. He cut the pump at $50 and stole the rest. Yes, I filed a police report and will pursue this, but I highly recommend going elsewhere. read more

Cheap gas, horrible service. I went up to the window to try to pay cash, and the attendant (an older man) ignored me, writing on a clipboard. After about a minute he finishes writing, looks up and says "come back in a few minutes" and something about a "break". Why didn't you tell me that when I first walked up, instead of making me wait only to tell me you can't help me? He then exits the window and starts helping the person who was in line behind me with their broken gas pump. So now you're not on a break? And apparently being at the front of the line means nothing? It was such a bizarre experience that I ended up leaving and going down the street to another station. I've been coming here regularly for several years but the ridiculously bad service isn't worth it. I'll be spending my hard earned money elsewhere from now on, even if it costs me a few cents more per gallon. read more

Despite the unfriendly, always-grumpy attendants, I've been going to this gas station because the cash price is so much lower than anywhere else in the area. Not anymore. The last time I was there, I went up to the window, handed the attendant ,once he finally looked up from his phone, three $20 bills, and said "$60 for pump #2", same drill I've done dozens of times. I then walked to my car and waited for the $60 credit to appear on the pump monitor so I could start pumping gas. It's usually there by the time I make it back over, but this time after waiting about 20 seconds it still hadn't been reflected, so I went to the window to ask the guy to credit the money to the pump. He looked at me like he had never seen me before. I told him I had just given him $60, he asked when, and I said less than 30 seconds ago, you've only had one other customer since then, how can you not remember me? Still nothing. He said he had to check the security footage to confirm. What??? I never saw him go into the back room of their little building, maybe someone else was back there? Anyway, it took a good ten minutes for him to finally credit the $60 to the pump. No apology for forgetting or for making me wait, zero common courtesy or humanity from him in our exchange. It didn't take the full $60 to fill the tank, and when I went to the window to get my change, after he finally looked up from his phone, he again looked at me like he had never seen me before. Not sure what's going on with the employees here that makes them so miserable to their customers, but it was finally too much for me to take, and I won't be going back. read more

Cashier will try to pull a fast one on you...he hands your receipt without your change to see if you notice. This is the second time he's tried to keep $20 of change due. Had to update this! ****BEWARE OF PRICING**** Drove by there yesterday, the outdoor digital sign advertises prices that are $0.30 lower than what the pump charges! Pay attention, the price changes at the pump after you insert your card in for payment! Total scam!!!! I try to avoid this station as much as possible. Overpriced gas, also, if you attempt to pump gas at night, the grade selection buttons are lit but the lowest / cheapest 87 grade, this is a way for you to select one of the lit buttons 89 or 92 grade. Also, AVOID pump 4, because if you select grade 87 you will still be charged for grade 89. LOOK AT YOUR RECEIPT. read more

Overpriced gas and convenience store don't go there unless you absolutely have to there are better alternatives

Sure it's a 76 station but it's also likely to be the highest price in the area, by at least $0.30 more than other stations. I come here out of laziness. I've got too many things to worry about that putting gas into a car, often falls to the bottom of the list. They need a service to come to your home or office and do this for you. If I'm in a rush in the morning and I've driven what I consider to be a safe amount of miles with my check gage light on and I don't think I can quite make it into the office without possibly having to call AAA, I stop here! It's not my first choice and I often won't completely fill up the tank due to the significant difference in price. Never had an issue here though, silver lining: with high prices lines are non existent! and they are pretty darn close to both North and South 101 freeway onramps. If you're looking for a better price try the Arco on Coldwater and Moorpark or the Shell on Van Nuys and Moorpark. read more

It's all about the location. Right off the fwy, on the corner of Woodman & Riverside. It's a block from the mall, across the street from Ross, and also Notre Dame High School. It's a basic station, with just a small hut with a cashier and the bare necessities for sale. The prices are a bit high, but it's normal for the area of Sherman Oaks and Studio City. read more

This place is unbelievable. I have never been so insulted while making a simple stop to pump gas. I approached the cashier as I was paying with cash. He was completing a task so I waited for him to finish before asking for assistance. He seemed offended that I had dared patron his establishment. When I went to pump my gas, the pump would not allow me to select my fuel grade. After several attempts, I assumed there was an issue with that particular pump and returned to ask for assistance. He immediately began yelling at me a patronizing me about how to properly pump gas. I wasn't going to allow him to continue insulting me, so I instead asked for a refund. Only then with the "threat" of losing money, did he assist me. Stormed over to my pump. Even HE had difficulty getting the pump to work. And stormed off again like I had deliberately been causing an issue. Would highly recommend avoiding this place if you can. read more

Oh god, this place is overpriced and horrible! The attendant, Suriya, was on the phone when I say " $45 on 1, please'. He handed me a receipt never getting off the phone. That was not the issue, it was when I got to my car he had rung $20 only from my debit card. That is still not the problem. It was when I went back to Suriya and asked him to fix it and make it the $45. He then put his phone down and threw the receipt at me saying " what do you want me to do about it" - I said 'can't you fix it and ring up $45 as I asked?' He yelled that I should just go pump my gas and then come back and get more gas . Say what, Suriya?? V.K. Union 76 needs some customer service lessons and maybe employees that have past anger management classes. What a horrible place - took a refund instead and went to Arco on Moorpark and Coldwater - at least .30 less a gallon. Do yourself a favor and go there instead!! read more

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. The gas prices are extraordinarily high, and the customer service is nonexistent because the cashier is grouchy. Save yourself the trouble, and find cheaper prices for your gas and friendly cashiers at the gas stations located on the other side of the freeway on Van Nuys Blvd. read more

If I could give this gas station 0 stars I would. When I went just yesterday I was notified by the credit card company that somebody has taken a copy of my credit card number at the station when I swiped to pay and tried to charge me. This whole gas station is a scam. read more

There's no reason for their prices to be this high. Plus $0.20 additional per gallon for credit cards is ridiculous.
