After I finished eating at the Mediterranean restaurant, I crossed the street to the ARCO, AM/PM Mini Mart to get their freshly baked, 2 for $3.00 Chocolate croissants that they have nicely wrapped in plastic wraps. I also wanted to get bottled juice. (nectar/mango). Got a nice warm welcome from Shela and we both looked for the croissants and she said they didn't have it. I did get the bottled juice and that was all I needed from this store. The store and the gas station was clean, but the refrigerated area some of the lights inside was not working. The thermostat though was nice and cold. She apologized twice for not having the croissants and wished me a nice day. read more

I'm hoping I can get in touch with the owner because the female cashier was not helping to resolve the situation. I want for them to check the cameras. I gave the cashier a $20, 2 x $10 and a $5 bill. My receipt says $35 cash and she's saying that's all I gave her. I have no problem being wrong but am not comfortable with giving away $10 to the gas station. She had a bad attitude about it and I'm just trying to get to a resolution. I recall counting my money twice before exiting my car and once when I opened it and handed it to her at the counter. I've been coming to this Arco for decades. As a teen and young adult this was the ultimate munchies hookup! Beer sales were always a bonus. Soft serve ice cream, fountain drinks, hot dogs and more. Now as a grown woman, I see my adult children enjoying the same things that lured us in at their ages. But still true to the past, their prices are always reasonable (.30 less a gallon compared to stations on Riverside). The lot is big and easily accessible. The worst gas station around. Seriously, the worst! Doesn't properly process any of your cards and makes you go see a cashier inside no matter what. This gas station has the worst customer service in all gas stations I've ever been! All the time I go there always a problem! 1- they dont take credit cards ( cash and debit cards only) 2. If their machine wont take your card bc it wont read it they will start to help another customers without saying a word to you ! So me and my boyfriend come into the store to grab some coffee. We noticed the cashier utterly disturbed with our presence. Never going to this gas station ever again!! Horrible Customer Service! As usual they are too lazy to replace their receipt tape at the pump. You have to go inside. When I went inside and asked for my receipt the two Assholes behind the counter were rude. The guy says what pump? I said either 9 or 10 as I could see the sign from inside the store. He prints out a wrong receipt. I handed it back and said it was the Wong one, it is the other one. He then tells me to walk back to my car and get the pump number. I said it is the other one. No one really reads gas stations reviews but I really had to vent. So if you read this, all the more power. I forgot my debit card but remembered I had apple pay attached to a card on my phone. I park and see they have a scanner for those mobile paying things on the gas machine and an option that states apple or android pay. Thank god, right? I enter the info and the screen says "See cashier," so I go inside and say "Out front it says you take apple pay, right?" and show the card on my phone. Dude goes, "Cash or debit." I say I know, it's a debit card with apple pay and point to the scanners they CLEARLY have on top of the card reader. He repeats, "Cash or debit." So I say, then what is the mobile payment scanner for and the payment method that says "Apple pay accepted". He just repeats "Cash or debit." When he realized I wasn't lying (which maybe is a thing he deals with so often that he has to immediately be a douche about it?) I gave him my sundries and waited for my final price. He refused to tell me. He wanted me to pay for my goods first and then he'd give me my winnings after, like some sort of oddball Harry Anderson from Night Court-ish routine. What followed was a 2-minute tete-a-tete usually reserved for crappy sitcoms that ended with him keeping my coin change and refusing to make eye contact as I asked for it at its conclusion. What I'm saying is, if you want crap customer service, crap supplies and crap money handling, this is your gas station dream. But if you want your money's worth, go somewhere else. on 3/17.19. I was pumping gas at just after 5AM when the pump suddenly stopped. this happened twice during the time I was there the attendant tried to claim that I had not paid. after I told him that I used my card at the pump, the pump will not pump gas without an authorized payment, he then tried to claim my card was no good. after I confronted him in site the AMPM he suddenly produced an approved receipt. I will not be going to that gas station again. I suggest that all others stay away from that station altogether. read more
