On 10/17/21, after driving from Riverside to drop off someone at the LAX and coming home at 6:20 am i needed gas. Since we've been Mobil cardholders since 1990 we searched for Mobil on my way home and I really needed to use a the restroom. I spent $90.00 in gas and yet the male attendant refused to allow me to use a restroom. I told him I've driven from Riverside to LA and heading back and really needed it and he clearly saw i bought gas yet he still said it's only for employees. CA Building Code requires buildings to build public restrooms for the public not only employees yet they continue to use Covid19 as an excuse not to let a customer use the restroom. I agree that it should only be for customers but he refused. What do they want travelers to do? A gas station has a restroom for a reason. If I could give zero stars I would. I only reason for 1 star is they're open 24/7. read more

I have my Honda civic yr 2000 for smog check. Came here on 2008 because it was closer to home. While the old Korean guy named John couldn't pass my smog because my throttle was a little bit jerky so he couldn't hold it to certain speed. He came to me n said that my car won't pass unless I pay 30$ more on top of the 25$ orig price. So rather than throwing my money away with no pass I had to agree to it. I went to a1 auto expert in la puente n Nogales in 2010 n 2012 with Indian owner n always had no problem. N my friend that owned the car previously and also recommended me this place went here in 2006 n no problem at all. So I was just surprised how some mechanics make their money. It's funny that most people write just to complain about test services (like a smog check) when they don't get the results they want. That's like writing a bad review for a doctor because he identified that you have an illness. I've been going here for ages and trust the services of this place more than any other. They always tell me what I should save money on and what I do need to fix. On rare occasions, I've been to other places to get my oil changes... places like Jiffy Lube... where they tell you that everything is wrong with your car and that everything needs to be fixed. read more

Came here for an oil change. The owner's and the staff behind the cashier and the mechanics are all super friendly and professional. They always greet me and the fact that they remember me and have conversations with me, is what makes it such a welcoming environment. They are honest about prices and I do not have to wait long. They don't slack off and are prompt with service that it makes me come back every time for any service that I need. When I want to know how to save money and go for cheaper items, they are honest with that too. They don't try to sell me the highest priced items like dealerships do. I have gotten brake pads done and tires changed and was satisfied with the service and prices each time. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants anything changed or in need of service. This shop is attached to the corner Mobile gas station and this visit took about 45 mins total to get in and out. Like most auto shops, talk is cheap, but work is efficient. Minus 1-star for the price increase (smog check alone was $25 in 2013). Unlike the smog shop across the street, which only takes cash and costs the same $35, credit cards are welcome here. Is our SoCal air cleaner? Maybe. But this is a market rip off since nothing in labor has changed in the last 2 years to justify the increase. read more

Really bad service. First he saw my car and asked if my car was modified. I said no but I did changed out my intake then he go aheads pops up my hood and checks If there's was any problem . First my intake has a dent that I already ask a mechanic if there was any problem and he said no but the person that works there told me I can't do smog check because it has a small dent . The ownership has changed and it's not the same. I go here to change oil all the time but this time, bill came out to be 40 something rather than 20 for their full service. The invoice included some special filter that cost 15 bucks. He did not disclose this at the beginning and I feel ripped off since the previous owner never charged for anything like this. This station does smog and oil service as well as gas. Simple: don't trust them- if you can't be trusted with something small, then there is no way you'll be trust worthy with something big. I was surprised when I pulled up to this gas station when they denied me use of the air and water pump free of charge. I'm not posting this because I am cheap, but that when we have a CA law that gives to its people, then that law should be followed. It makes me think that if these people are willing to break a simple law, that would have only cost them the electricity to run the pump, then what other rules are the willing to bend. read more

This place is cool for smog check. I have been going there for smog check a few times. No problem. The test takes about 25 minutes and cost is about $38. The middle aged korean mechanic doesn't talk much and is not very very fluent in English, but there is no problem communicating and he is cool and nice. I think it charges $38 for both 4 and 6 cylinder cars. before that I was paying $50-$60 for smog check. read more

Have trusted this place for more than 15 years. If you just need an oil change they will just change your oil without telling you that you need $800.00 in repairs. If they did tell me I needed repairs though I would believe them. They have checked my car for problems several times and not charged me because no repair was needed! I would give negative stars if I could , brougt a1994 Lexus here for smog check , the guys works here not only act like they don't need the business and also rude , I know this is a Korean owned place and some guy named Kim did my smog check, he not only can't speak proper English and he had an attitude as if I was begging him for service, he told me I didn't pass and it would cost close to 500 to fix it , and looked at me and said if you can't efford it call BAR for assistance (if figured since I am driving such an old car).This is actually my grandma's car so I called the assistance program and actually was able to get the assistance approved for my grandma. so I brought the car back with the approval letter, that same guy was at the garage when I approached him with his own estimate and the approval letter , he started to act like he didn't know what I was talking about and started saying that they don't have the parts something about its too expensive (I thought he said it would cost around 500?) He not only was yelling in very broken English, he acted like he does not want to have anything to do with this assistance program, funny how he was the one that told me about it , and the owner came over and after them talking back and forth in Korean , the owner flat out said they don't have the equipment and parts too expensive and told me to go else where ... LIES !! went across street the other smog check place chuckled when I explained that was what they said and after looking at the report he said it's not the catalyst converter that needs to be fixed .. I wonder if I was Korean this all would have been different, but no matter what they are awfully rude and dishonest, and he charged me 50 bucks with out the certificates this means a complete one would have cost me 75 dollars when it should be 60 .. really upset and would like to warn you out there to STAY AWAY from this place ! read more

Came here to get my brake rotors resurfaced cause with that amount of shaking (insert joke here). Took it here because of a referral and it was close by. The man who helped me, John, really nice, knew right away what was wrong when I described to him my issue, and fixed my rotors within the same afternoon.
