The most rude and excruciating experience I've had at a gas station. Roberto is aggressive, and just yells at you horrible customer service didn't allow me to go in with a service dog. He said I talk too much and need to calm down all while I was trying ti explain to him that he can check my id but there's no reason for him to have to see a license for my service let. I got there at 9:40pm and the manager told me they were closed l, when every other night I go they close at 10pm. I live right next door. The manager told me as rude as possible that they are closed and I can come back tomorrow. I just needed a pack of cigarettes and was willing to give him cash. I was coming back from school, and needed fuel. So I stopped by this gas station close to the 101 freeway. I didn't spend much of a time here. I just pulled up to an empty pump, swiped my card, fueled up, and left. The area seemed alright, and no problems arose from other patrons. It is a pretty busy place considering it is located near the freeway on Sunset Blvd. As far as gas stations go, it runs about average in sanitation. The prices were comparable to other gas stations in the area. This gas station goes its job, and fairly well. Four stars. read more

I planed to go snowboarding last Saturday and went out early in the morning. Just bought phone charger in this gas store, and.. Its didn't work properly with my phone and original cable. So I went to Big Bear w/o charger and needed to buy another one on mountain resort. After that from 2days I backed to this store and asked money back, but they said that can't help me and their manager can give me my money back. I was 3times in this store before I met the manager. And ..how do you think what's happened next? I said that I don't need another one charger with the same bad quality.. And manager didn't give me any money back for this bad charger! Stoped by at 9:45 on 10/11 & the pump broke / I had a major safety problem to let them know about... walked to the front & the guy working put a "closed for 15 min" sign on the door while looking at me in the eyes. Swindlers! Bought three lotto tickets and a cup of coffee this morning. Super friendly attendant there. Charged me $12 for what should have been $7...but at least he smiled and was pleasant while screwing me over. My defense, I'm from out of town and didn't know the exact cost of CA lotto tickets. Checked after I left and didn't get a receipt. If you must buy here, get a receipt and double check it before you leave...but just don't buy anything here. read more

These shysters charged me an extra $1 for gassing up Saturday night, according to my credit card bill as a separate item. Nowhere on the pump was there any noticeable sign saying an extra charge would be incurred for use of a credit card. Who doesn't use a credit card these days? Shysters. I have been to this place 4 times and every time have had problems with the pumps and card readers.. Either the pump doesn't stop after i let go and gets gas all over my car, or it just doesn't work entirely. Card readers are jacked where you can't even enter it. This place is convenient if you're outta gas and about to head onto the freeway! It's only a couple of blocks west of the 101 Freeway on Sunset Blvd. The prices are a bit more pricey because it's in Hollywood. When you're in need of gas, you can't complain! There's only two islands in this lot, but it's usually not too busy. I never had to wait to get gas here, but I tend to also avoid busy hours as well. read more

That's BS Unfortunately I've used it the restroom multiple times in the past without, in fact I heard them say it was out of service after I had just used it. A couple weeks ago I had stopped to fill up my tank at night time so I go inside the store to pay for the amount I intended to use. The cashier seemed like he didn't know how to use the cash register and kept asking me the amount. When he finally gets it right, I was a little skeptic about paying for it but when I did I asked for a receipt. As a customer, I do have the right to a receipt after purchase of anything but the guy told me the receipt machine was broken. now I can understand if it's not printing paper, you could just exchange the roll of receipt paper and go about your day but he completely made it seem like he didn't want to give me the receipt. So I brush it off, walk outside to fill up my tank and As I am filling up my tank, i get a notification on my phone for each purchase I make with my bank card and it shows that I was charged twice for the same amount. I thought it could've been a mistake but the thought of the employee not giving me a receipt never left my mind so I go back in there and see if He charged me twice instead of once. As I walk in the I see him printing a receipt and hand it to the customer and at the sight of that I'm furious! I walk up to him and just ask him can I get my receipt now, he gives me a little attitude but I didn't pay mind to it as he was printing my receipt but I tend to notice that as he is looking for my transaction, there are 2 payments of $30 on the screen. As I see that, I ask for both receipts and he claims that there was only one transaction and the refund will be issued tomorrow. I would love to believe that, but I couldn't believe what he was saying so I asked for a refund receipt and assuming I wasn't going to give up, his go-to response was come by tomorrow at 10AM and speak to the manager. At this point, I didn't want to go through him anymore so I said I will be back tomorrow and asked for the managers name (Fray). The next morning, I stop by the gas station to check if the manager there and as I walk in there is a lady behind the desk. I walk up and ask if she was the manager and she says she's sorry but the manager isn't here but I can help you. Once I asked (Lubia the employee), she says she doesn't want to help me come back tomorrow. I say okay, I will be back tomorrow same time. It's been 10-11 days since this situation occurred, still no manager, still attitude from the employees and mostly importantly, no refund of my money that I didn't even spend here. read more

Very rude cashier named Mark. I was going in to get a snack with my little son and my son had a scooter. I asked ask the man if I could set it on the side and he told me there are no skates. It wasn't what he said, but how he said it. You don't have to be rude to a little 7 year old kid and his mom! Nonetheless, I'm going elsewhere. I won't spend a penny in this place and I suggest you to go to the Shell down the street. They should really hire cashiers that are there for quality customer service. I went to this gas station tonight to put some gas. I used pump 6. I locked the fueling nozzle in my car and waited standing next to it. Suddenly, gas started to come out. I quickly removed the nozzle from my car and put it back to the machine. My pants and shoes got all wet with gas. I went inside to let them know that gas pump 6 wasn't working well and that it was dangerous. The cashier would not even listen to me and kept asking how I had paid. I said I used my credit card. And then he said "no money from here." I told him I was not asking for money back, but he kept repeating the same thing. He was so rude that he wouldn't even look at me when I was explaining what had happened. What an incompetent, rude, and useless employee Mobil has here. One of the rudest attendants I ever met. Started to fill my tank and politely asked if they had a restroom. She snapped, "only for customers." Walked out and immediately stopped my pump and walked in to get her name, she quickly got defensive, "I didn't tell you nothing. I just said they were for customers." A few reasons why I prefer this gas station over others: 1) The gas prices are greaaat compared to other stations in LA. 2) It is super convenient since it's right off the 101 freeway via Sunset Blvd. 3) Very clean and easy to maneuver in and out of. 4) Last but not least, the mini mart is amazing and has all my favorite snacks and supplies I always seem to forget from my grocery shopping trips :) A+++ read more

Please do not go here! I went in today to buy a snack, which came out to .99 cents. I paid with a $20 bill. My change was $19.01. The female clerk, an older blonde woman, gave me $19 and closed the draw. I asked very nicely if I still get a penny. She laughed at me and then shoved the penny in my hand. If that doesn't make me feel bad enough she then mocked me with another customer saying "I want pennies" as I was leaving. She was very rude and I can't believe she had the nerve to mock me for money she owed me. Also like other reviews said a little boy maybe 7 years old came in to use the public restroom and he did buy a snack and she said no about 3 times until finally she let him use the PUBLIC CUSTOMER restroom.
