This chevron is located on a very busy main street. There can be quite some traffic. And getting in and out of this place isn't the most convenient. Its actually a very small establishment, one or two pump stalls, not very much space to wait for an open stall, or to park to get something in the convenient store. So, I stopped to get gas on my way to work because I needed to. Anyway, not only my pump, but many, if not all pumps were either not giving gas or gave the equivalent of about $1.00. People were agitated to put it nicely. I get it, Gas stations run out of gas, but that's why they created these things called signs. If you put them up, people won't waste their time there and will move on to the next station. I usually go to this gas station, so I was surprised by all of this. Do better Chevron, I know you can. Lo and behond, this Chevron was the closest place to feed my vehicle. The station was not crowded at all. The prices were comparable to those in the south bay. It has a small convenience store, but I didn't set foot in it as I payed at the pump, filled up, and left. The place looked pretty clean, and it was free of trouble makers. I live three blocks from here and have been coming here since 2011, but I'm done with this place. I used to come here because I felt kind of safer because it's such a busy street and more normies seem to come here but service/pricing/everything else has gone down so much that I'll only come here if I'm extremely desperate. Their machines are very outdated and I've waited like 15 minutes to gas up once because there was some problem with the dispenser and it dispensed gas, it was just glacier slow and wasted my time. I've also had my credit card information stolen multiple times over the years and I realized later the only common denominator is this place. I do the covering my zip, etc but still not enough. The last straw was a small one but I paid nearly $2 to just fill up air in my tires because I was getting a really low sign and the machine didn't work. I didn't have time, didn't want to argue, etc so I just left but I'll never come back now. Go to the Chevron at 3rd and Mariposa, it's much cleaner, better lit, generally cheaper, and with newer machines where you can just tap your credit card and it's quick. Hate this place. read more

I stopped quickly by this gas station to put in some gasoline. I gave the cashier a $20 bill and went out to my car to fill up. I was only able to put in $18.50 for the gasoline. When I went back into the store to get the change things got interesting. I went to the window and told which pump I was on and asked for the change. The cashier then proceeded to give me $.20. I told her that I gave $20 and $20 -$18.50 was actually a $1.50. She just looked at me and said your change is $.20. I told her I thought her math was a little bit off, and even a customer behind me said it should be a $1.50. Again, the cashier just looked at me and handed me the $.20. I then again asked for a $1.50 and she said no. I then proceeded to give her the $.20 back and said I really don't need it then and just walked out. Do I need a $1.50 to survive? Thankfully no. THE WORST ! Real fast, you can get cheaper gas one block up Olympic at Mobile GUARANTEED. So, I pull into this location and walk into the store. I hand Ahmed a $20 and say "$20 on 3" and leave. Consistently competitive gas prices. If you're too lazy to gas price shop, you can just fill up here and know that you're not getting ripped off. The location is very convenient, being located on the corner of 6th and Catalina. I come here for convenience sake. The prices are competitive only some of the time, which is annoying, but I guess it's better than being comparatively more expensive on a regular basis. The stations get packed regularly during rush hours and it can be a hodgepodge to get yourself to a pump. There is a fairly clean convenience store. read more

This use to be my go to gas station as it is very close to my job. I stop here to fill up and grab a snack when im in a rush. I recently bought a lunchable for my son. When i opened the package the turkey was moldy. I went back to the cashier AYESHA and she simply grabbed it from my had and said ok go grab another. No apology or anything just a simple whatever and go get another. I explained to AYESHA this is unacceptable and would like my money back. Ayesha refused and said my only option was to grab something of equal value. I explained she sold me a moldy food item and do not want anything from the store. She didnt care and said i already gave you choice. (Its not about the money as its only 3 dollars and some change but the point is she sold me a moldy food item and heck no i didnt want anything from that store that was edible and her attitude was just bad). I asked to speak to a manager and she said he is not available but will be back on friday and told me to hang on to moldy lunchable until then... lol (mind you this was a wednesday). So my option is get another food item (nope!) or hold on to this moldy lunchable for 3 days to fester even more and create its own ecosystem until its convenient for the manager to get my 3 dollars back. Finally after all this drama she calls the manager and he okays it. Why AYESHA ? why couldnt you just call. Any way check all food items you buy here AYESHA will give you a 30 minute drama and provide exceptionally horrible customer service. Im done with this place and AYESHA'S crap attitude. read more

The last 2 times I have used to gas station, I have had my identity stolen the same day. A little too coincidental if you ask me! Be aware of possible skimming machines at the pump! The first time I received an alert from my cell carrier that someone tried to open 2 new lines on my account bc they had my SS# (2 hours after I had left this gas station) and today after I pumped gas there, someone depleted my bank account by $1500 within 3 hours of me leaving. Both times I paid at the pump using my debit card as a "credit". Something is very fishy at this gas station! I'm never coming here again! I'm having this place investigated. This is probably the best, cleanest, almost well managed gas station in Los Angeles. I was driving through the area and I needed some gas. I pulled to the pump and went inside the cashier was extremely nice and they had a great selection of drinks and I used the restroom which was very sanitary and clean. Gas is so cheap! Great location, in the middle of Ktown. The only problem is it is ridiculously crowded all the time but I don't mind. The 91 gas here is cheaper than the chevron station where I live (high desert) which is surprising.
