This is my favorite local gas stations I have been coming for the past 2-3 years. Not only are their prices reasonable for quality gas but the times I have gone inside the convenience store, all the male cashiers have been nothing but great. They are all super friendly and helpful in particular Guillermo. When I began coming in regularly, he remembered me and would always greet me kindly and politely. He is always friendly and kind to everyone he interacts with. Since I was coming every week, he let me know about the rewards program and the perks of being a member so without hesitation I signed up. I would normally come in the mornings to fill up but over time I started to come in the evening instead. I put gas and started cleaning my windows and at 7:10 AM, The gas station employee came out and started yelling from the store telling me I need to leave that I've been cleaning for "too long" lol what? I have been using this gas station for years; however, my pump station did not pump out any gas today unfortunately, so I went back and asked the lady behind the counter about the pump machine. She immediately accused me of pumping gas by showing me a receipt that was not even mine. Instead of helping me out with the situation, all she did was being arrogant and racist. By the way, that was the manager of the gas station. Thankfully, my problem was solved by a male worker who was next to the manager. He was an absolute champ. If the owner reads this everything that is said about her is all true. She needs to be fired if you want keep regulars in Ktown. read more

I've been coming here for the last 3 or so months. Their diesel pricing is amongst the best in the area. I can't get it this cheap in my neighborhood. I generally pay using card, never step foot inside. Today though, I happened to pull up to a station that was not accepting card (didn't know, until I got out). My car was already situated and the tank is on the right side of the car, so I decided to go inside and pay. A latina woman was working the counter, maybe late 40s early 50s. I was very clear when I said $45 on #9. Thanked her, that was that, conversation exchange was friendly. I went back to my car pressed diesel and thought I would start to pump, but nothing came out, the screen read "wait a moment" or something like that. After one minute I went back inside to let her know what happened. She looked upset, and immediately said "you said number #5". So she must have seen me go to #9 and struggle. I said "no, why would I say #5, I'm parked at #9" she continued to say, "you said #5 three times". I said "why would I waste my money and say a number I'm not parked at". She continued to go on, and say next time I'll loose my money. The fact that she got defensive proves that she was in the wrong. I was annoyed. But I will still continue to go here lol because it's so cheap, there is another gas station about 3 minutes north on Olympic that maybe I'll go to instead because their prices are almost similar. I'll see. But ya, based off of her, terrible customer service. If she was nice, I would have given then place an easy 5, because I always get a spot, from 7am-3pm, no issues. read more

She needs to be fired and she seems to be really disrespectful to Asians but really friendly to anyone who seems to speak Spanish. Racist gas station lady. All the dudes are really really nice tho. Price is good but lady at the register was a little rude. I filled up my car with cash, came back in to ask if I could use the air and she said, it's $2. Why would I ask her to use the air if I could just pay it outside? Also, by law...if you purchase anything at a gas station, they have to let you use the air compressor machine. Cheapest gas prices in this neck of the woods. Their pumps are well lit and they always have their pumps ready to go. I have never seen a pump out of order here! This location is always bustling so sometimes there is a wait but it's still worth it if you want to fill your tank at a cheaper price. (occasionally some products will be out of stock) Location is open 24/7 and almost always has the lowest prices in the area. Busy intersection with heavy traffic during peak hours & nights on the weekend, expect slight delays. Staff is friendly. This business received a (**5-Star**) review due to the graveyard shift employee (("Manny")) This young man has Outstanding Professionalism and has the utmost Respect for each and every patron while delivering Excellent customer service! Never actually go inside the convenience store but this and the other Mobil on Norton and Olympic are my go to gas station. The gas prices at both locations are always the same and it is consistently the lowest amongst all the other neighboring gas places. This location gets a bit tight on space when busy but it's the price you pay for gas on the cheap! read more

Gave me the wrong change and when I pointed it out to her she snapped at me and made me feel like crap for noticing. The facilities are disgusting and don't deserve your business. Go somewhere else. I want to give as many negative stars as I can, if it was allowed!!!! My Father and I have been fueling at this location for the last 3+ yrs. Just last sat morning, he filled up his car with regular gas at pump #9, approximately 12 gallons. Then he drove about 35 miles, went on a hike, and got on the car to get home. The car had problem starting and was shaking badly. We first thought there was some problem with the brakes, so on Monday we towed the car into the dealership. Even before the mechanics looked into the car, the service associates at the dealership told us that it sounded like the car has diesel in it. Guess what? No surprise. The mechanics pour a bit of the gas sample onto the ground and lit it up with a lighter to show that it was something other than gasoline- which they suspected it as diesel. How am I so sure that it was THIS gas station? This is the ONLY place my Father goes to fuel his car during the last several years. I wanted to talk to the owner but the manager at the station would not disclose the info, so I left our phone numbers instead. I doubt it will reach the owner in time. Meanwhile, I filed a complaint to the local Weight and Measurement and the inspector will be coming out soon. Now I realize what others were saying how "cheap gases are just cheap". I know there are tons of customers coming here for the gas. We have been too. We didnt have any problem until now, and I'm definitely not coming back here. Usually one of the top 5 cheapest top tier stations (aka non ARCO or unbranded) in Ktown. I also have never ran into a bum here (unlike the stations closer to the freeway). Knock on wood. My husband just experienced blatant racial discrimination at this location. My husband (African American) came in to buy some water. While paying, he asked for the key to the bathroom. The cashier (Latino) said "Oh wow, you have no manners? No 'good morning, how you're doing' first?" and would not let my husband use the bathroom. But not 1 minute later, a Latino woman came in, asked the cashier the same question, phrase the question the same way ("Can I have the bathroom key?"), did not say "Good morning" or anything else to him, and he gave the woman the key without question. She wasn't even buying anything. My husband is a retired teacher. He dressed nicely. He also had an autistic teenager with him (he is a caretaker). So there is no way this cashier could have mistaken my husband for a homeless person that would mess up their bathroom. He was a paying customer. The language and the attitude from this cashier was very uncalled for, and there is not a doubt that this is racial-base discrimination. read more

*** FRAUD ALERT *** 9/25/2009 Was blatantly over-charged for fuel. Charged for 14.5 gallons of fuel, but my the car's fuel tank has a MAXIMUM capacity of _13.2 gallons_. I believe I had more than 1 gallon remaining in the tank, so i was likely overcharged for a minimum of 2.3 gallons. Called and spoke to the station's manager, who was unprofessional and refused to assist in any way, let alone offer a refund. Threatened to complain to the state and corporate, but the manager did not seem to care. I'm going to try to get them investigated and hopefully shut down so they can't rip off anyone else. I would give them 0 stars if I could, but yelp seems to like ratings inflation. read more

9/10 times, this gas station has the most competitive price for gas within Koreatown. The machines are a little grimy and outdated and the station can get really packed during rush hour, but can't beat the good price. FYI, don't make a left into the gas station over the double yellow while heading east on Olympic - I saw a car get pulled over for doing that (I guess this is more of a general driving tip...). read more
