This gas station is a joke. The people working the night shift are super rude. Carolina saw me waiting for two minutes and didn't help us, and then a bald Latino guy came out from the back and says "they can wait." I responded with saying that they knew we were waiting and decided to finish their conversation. He then proceeded to say "you can either wait or go somewhere else." Never have been spoken to by a gas station employee. Hoping management sees this and speaks to the guy. Super gross behavior that was uncalled for. All he had to say was "thanks for waiting" or "sorry for the holdup" and I wouldn't be writing this review. read more

Petrol is expensive everywhere in Los Angeles. The area that one is in very much dictates the increase in price. Shell is on the higher end of pricing, but generally has a nice convenience store attached to the station. We stopped for gas, and ran into the store to pay. The guy behind the counter wasn't very polite. We had given him a large bill to pay for gas, and wanted to add on a few bottles of water. The store wasn't as nice as it used to be, and snack foods are limited. The restrooms are ok, and excess parking is minimal. There aren't many ways to really rank a gas station. To me, there are really only a few questions that require answers. 1. Is it easy to get into/out of? Yes, this one is. 2. Is it priced reasonably? Yeah, about average. 3. Is it in a sketchy neighborhood? Nope, it's chill. 4. Is it reasonably clean? Yeah, it's new. 5. Do all of the pumps work? Nope, had to go to a second one because the first one wouldn't accept my debit card, for some reason. The second one did. Hence, four not five stars. That's all I have to say about that. read more

I think I have bought my last snack here. There is NO enforcement of mask wearing inside the store. I didn't think much of the first time I saw a maskless person but I have seen this occur at least three times now without the cashier making any mention of it. Some of the best gas prices in the WeHo/Mid-City area, especially if you use your Ralphs card with points. I frequently get as much as .20 cents a gallon off the already fair prices. My car was low on gas, I was headed to the Grove and saw this gas station. I pulled up to get snacks and fill up the old tank. It was about 12 am and no one else was there except for this one man who seemed homeless. He was standing near the road, I tried not to make eye contact until he started running up to me on all 4's. I didn't know what else to do so i hopped into my car that was still attached to the gas pump. He started stripping off his clothes and his "pp" was hanging out. I was terrified, I honked my horn and everything but he kept saying "THE END IS NEAR" and banging on my window. Then he hopped off and ran behind my car, I couldn't see him. Extremely disappointed to have gone to this gas station while on my way to West Hollywood. Karina was a complete disaster and rude. She would not allow me to use the restroom. Third night in a row that she has stated that it is broken. I do not believe so, I did ask her to show it to me and she refused. She just does not want to clean the restroom. This gas station has the worst customer service. Maybe it is some sort of super glass the separates the customers from the employees but every time I ask a question I just get blank stares from these people. Today I went in the store to buy a Icee. There is the machine swirling around with the much wanted frozen colorful delight. But then sadness strikes...there are no Icee cups. There aren't even cups for the soda machine. So I walk over and ask the employee and the one in training behind the window and ask about cups. The trainee was trained so well that she too delivered no sound, just a blank stare. I asked a second time do you have cups for the Icee machine or soda machine. Same blank stare. I then do the only thing I can...I pretend that I'm wiping a tear from my eye and rotate my hand under my eye with a sad frown. They both respond with a laugh. I wasn't laughing. We went to the CBS studio to go see the Price is Right. While we were leaving we needed gas, this was the Cheapest Gas in the area. It was only a block or so away form the studio and it was very easy to access. The other gas stations in the area were up to $1 more per gallon! read more

This is pretty much the only gas station I go to when I'm in LA, unless an emergency comes up, of course. My LA residence is very close to this gas station, and the people who run this place keep it pretty tidy and in ship-shape. This gas station is also particularly large, so I don't feel constantly on edge about hitting another car- gas stations can be quite tightly packed. Also, huge perk, this station usually has cheaper gas than other stations in the area- the only thing that really matters about a gas station! I know this sounds cheesy, but I'm kind of into this gas station's decor. It's kind of Mediterranean themed or something. Also, one perk about Shell stations in general- if you spend a certain amount at Ralph's or know someone who does, you could save up to $.20/gallon if you enter your rewards phone #. I did this and boy did I save some pretty pennies. I noticed that there are some very negative reviews about this gas station here on Yelp, but I have never used their restroom or had the unfortunate experience of using "pump 8." I have interacted with their staff persons, and honestly whenever I'm in there, there is a huge line and the cashier seems pretty stressed out, so I'm not surprised people have bad experiences with these guys. My employer's father and I have both had our credit card number stolen after using them at this station. The police are conducting an 'ongoing investigation'. Apparently the card reader can be rigged? The employees are nice, great variety of gas station food, and convenient location are pluses. However, the employee gave me back the wrong change, and made me wait in line (which is long if you've been here). Needless to say, I walked out and told him he could keep the $5, but they'll lose my business. I work down the street, so that can add up, but I'm sure they won't be hurting too bad. I only come to this gas station if there is not another Shell station around me. It's well lit and pretty safe, but EVERYTIME I go, the gas pump doesn't hold. Come to this gas station often. Its convenient and most of the time the customer experience is good. Other than the times that there is one particular person working. Because I go to this gas station often, I have run into each employee. The clerk with red hair provides attitude and short answers which, unfortunately, include phrases that are not supposed to be said while on the clock. Its quite often now, that I decide to go to other gas station when this person is working to prevent a damper on my day.
