It has touch screens to custom order drinks and hot/cold food. Let me explain: next to the coffee station there is a touch screen to order specialty drinks. I was surprised at how many options there were. There were various hot lattes and cappuccinos you could customize as well as frozen coffee drinks and smoothies. They will make them right then for you. There was also a touch screen near the prepared sandwiches. This was for all of the food choices. You could order specific slices of pizza (or whole pizzas), specialty topped hot dogs, hot and cold sandwiches, burritos, and various chicken meals. Within the hot and cold sandwiches there were lots of choices. Again, I was surprised at how many options there were and that your order would be made right away. You pick it up at the counter. The prepared sandwiches even looked fresh and decent. I spoke to an employee that told me that the touch screens are a new feature and that only a few stores have them so far. This location was also about to get cold brew coffee and nitro cold brew coffee in the next days. Another feature arriving soon was a soda fountain that has Cumberland Farms brand sodas. I have previously stopped at a Cumberland Farm's and grabbed a quick sandwich (and hot dogs for my kids). I have always eaten the sandwich reluctantly. This new store made me have a more positive outlook on buying a quick bite at a Cumberland's. Their customized drinks are a fraction of the cost of Starbucks'. I didn't actual order a custom drink, but I will definitely return to try one.

I went in for ice cream but was taken aback by her rudeness. I walked out with nothing. If I pull in to get something and see her there I will not go in. I will not subject myself to her demeaning attitude. In the past i gave her the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe she just had a bad day. But every time I go there, she is awful! Terrible for business.

I am not a Convenience Store person for the most part, having a limited appetite for lottery…read moretickets, cigarettes, and forty cents a can beer. But Stewart's is so darn cute it's hard not to like, and it's sort of unique in my experience among convenience chains. First off, it's locally-owned, and Stewart's has been a good neighbor and corporate citizen (such as these things go). Their employees are far less surly than typical convenience store folk, sometimes (as at this location) downright chipper. I also am keen on their diagonally-oriented aisles, which break up the store and tend to lessen the usually glum looking-for-a-Ho-Ho experience of a quick trip to the 24 hour store. The thing that makes Stewart's, though, is their continued use of modest seating areas inside. It's far closer to that old general store vibe than anything out there in the retail world these days - friendlier than the post office, more amenable to conversations with strangers than Starbucks or Dunky's, and with their relatively brighter stores with exterior views out from the eating booths, it's (strange to say) not that bad a short hang out spot. This particular location is an upgraded large-format Stewart's, and the staff have been pretty good. Only the occasional creepy character has darkened its doorstep in my limited patronage, which is well above par. You can enter from both Vly and Route 7 fairly easily (except at rush hour), particularly heading eastbound. And compared to the Xtramart across the street -- which is larger but far skeevier -- it's a more pleasant experience.

When it gets busy, there can be a bit of a line waiting your turn. Even though there are pumps set up for gas tanks on both the driver's and passenger's sides, and arrows suggesting how to enter and exit, you always have those folks who will ignore the arrows and those waiting in line to back into a spot or drive around and come in from the back. Watch out for those folks. I'm docking them 1 star for bad signage. The sign before entering the gas area was definitely out of date. It showed a gas price fifteen cents lower than today's actual price. I'm wondering whether they're short staffed, too lazy to update the sign, or whether they think folks will be more interested in getting gas, then learning the price is higher but will stay anyway. C'mon, everyone coming here is already a BJs customer and knows the price is lower. The do need to remember one other thing... the Costco opening a couple of miles away in 2026 will also sell gas.

It also shows up as a wholesale club rather than as a gas station on credit cards, generally lowering the cash back. The tap and and pay payment feature on the pumps doesn't work, and pumps are frequently out of service. Overall, the lower price makes up for it. One thing I've heard is that busier gas stations get refilled more often, so the sediment never has time to settle, and the gas is not as clean. I don't know if that's accurate or not, but I haven't had any issues here.
