This gas station is in a very central location, but it can be hard to access this business at certain entrances, especially during rush hour. I haven't been inside in a few years, so I took a quick peek. They do have bathrooms available in the back corner. Wow, I was surprised by the amount of beer they sell here! I don't remember there being this much beer available, I even spotted a walk in beer cooler in the back. You can even make your own 6 pack of craft beers. Typical gas station supplies like coffee, snacks and pricey car care items like motor oil and washer fluid are also available.

I had brought my ramen with THE GOOD CASHIER PLAYING MUSIC and had gone back to my friends. I couldn't carry all four packs of ramen by myself so I put TWO ramen cups down in the freezer near my friends. Tell me why the white cashier comes up to me and is like "is everything ok? I saw you put something in your bag." I told him I out away my ramen and he left. Me and my friends go up to the register to pay and I hear the cashier asking the other one "did you ring them up?" And I go ahead and say "I brought four cups of ramen" THEN on top of that, the WHITE cashier asked ME a black female "can I see inside your bag?" I said "no." Because obviously, this isn't my fucking parent. So he goes "I saw you take something from the freezer" I explained to him what I did and then showed him my bag. He starts going "I believ you, I believe you." So guess what Mr. White Cashier, I got your picture and you're about to get fucking sued. Bring your best lawyer

I recently had a disturbing and infuriating experience at this Cumberland Farms location. I went in…read moreto purchase two Gatorlite drinks, advertised as 2 for $5, but they rang up as $5.50. With tax, the total came to $5.94. When I pointed out that the sales tax should be $0.40, not $0.94, I was met with disbelief and outright hostility. The employees insisted that the $0.94 was the correct tax, despite it clearly being an error in their system. Instead of addressing the issue, the two employees--both of whom were of a different race than I am--ganged up on me. Their behavior quickly escalated from rude to what felt like a racially motivated attack. They repeatedly insisted "it's the tax," in a mocking tone, refusing to listen to any explanation. I was laughed at, ridiculed, and made to feel as though my concerns were invalid simply because of who I am. It felt like I was being singled out and demeaned based on my race. Eventually, they asked if I even wanted the drinks, making it clear they had no interest in resolving the situation or treating me with basic respect. What's even more concerning is that they claimed every customer is told "that's the tax" and no one ever complains. If that's true, then Cumberland Farms is potentially collecting illegal sales tax on thousands of transactions per day. Now that this review is public, if Cumberland Farms doesn't address this issue with these employees, they could be guilty of negligence and should be fined. I hope New York State gets their $0.94 tax on this transaction, which I doubt will happen under these circumstances. For reference, my receipt number is 221-2080, in case Cumberland Farms wants to do their due diligence and investigate. This was, without a doubt, the worst customer service experience I've ever had, and the fact that it appeared to be racially motivated makes it all the more unacceptable. Unbelievable that this is what customer service has come to today. I would recommend screening and better training of employee's zero stars if I could. This was definitely not about the 50 cents per transactions theft , but the principle of the matter .

The two girls at the counter said that the restroom key was with a lady who was using the ladies' restroom. I told them to give me the men's restroom they said they have only one key!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I told them I can't wait, I will pee in my pant, so they started laughing while I was suffering. I am a 75 year old diabetic person but they didn't respect my age, they were laughing. This happened today at 4:10 pm. Those employees must be fired, and the person who is responsible for training new employees must do a better job preparing the employees to deal respectfully with customers. When it gets busy, there can be a bit of a line waiting your turn. Even though there are pumps set up for gas tanks on both the driver's and passenger's sides, and arrows suggesting how to enter and exit, you always have those folks who will ignore the arrows and those waiting in line to back into a spot or drive around and come in from the back. Watch out for those folks. I'm docking them 1 star for bad signage. The sign before entering the gas area was definitely out of date. It showed a gas price fifteen cents lower than today's actual price. I'm wondering whether they're short staffed, too lazy to update the sign, or whether they think folks will be more interested in getting gas, then learning the price is higher but will stay anyway. C'mon, everyone coming here is already a BJs customer and knows the price is lower. The do need to remember one other thing... the Costco opening a couple of miles away in 2026 will also sell gas.

It also shows up as a wholesale club rather than as a gas station on credit cards, generally lowering the cash back. The tap and and pay payment feature on the pumps doesn't work, and pumps are frequently out of service. Overall, the lower price makes up for it. One thing I've heard is that busier gas stations get refilled more often, so the sediment never has time to settle, and the gas is not as clean. I don't know if that's accurate or not, but I haven't had any issues here.

It has touch screens to custom order drinks and hot/cold food. Let me explain: next to the coffee station there is a touch screen to order specialty drinks. I was surprised at how many options there were. There were various hot lattes and cappuccinos you could customize as well as frozen coffee drinks and smoothies. They will make them right then for you. There was also a touch screen near the prepared sandwiches. This was for all of the food choices. You could order specific slices of pizza (or whole pizzas), specialty topped hot dogs, hot and cold sandwiches, burritos, and various chicken meals. Within the hot and cold sandwiches there were lots of choices. Again, I was surprised at how many options there were and that your order would be made right away. You pick it up at the counter. The prepared sandwiches even looked fresh and decent. I spoke to an employee that told me that the touch screens are a new feature and that only a few stores have them so far. This location was also about to get cold brew coffee and nitro cold brew coffee in the next days. Another feature arriving soon was a soda fountain that has Cumberland Farms brand sodas. I have previously stopped at a Cumberland Farm's and grabbed a quick sandwich (and hot dogs for my kids). I have always eaten the sandwich reluctantly. This new store made me have a more positive outlook on buying a quick bite at a Cumberland's. Their customized drinks are a fraction of the cost of Starbucks'. I didn't actual order a custom drink, but I will definitely return to try one.
