He was warm and smiling and gave us each 3 samples until we decided what we wanted. Friend got a mint chocolate chip shake and I got a peanut butter pandemonium shake. Both incredibly delicious! Stewart's Ice cream is an absolute must when I visit New York State. Stewart's Shops: Listen up- you have to open a few stores in south central PA!

The inventory is smaller here. There's still a little bit of everything, just not the extent or variety. For example, I came here seeking a particular flavor of ice cream - they only carry about half the usual variety of flavors, and they were out of the one I wanted. It's still a great place to get coffee and a quick grab-and-go food item, but there won't be as many hot offerings.

Most gas pumps have three buttons. You know, for the different octane levels. These pumps have…read morethree buttons too, except two of them all always taped up. Yup. This gas station only offers the lowest grade octane gas it can sell by law. And they have cheaper prices for cash versus credit. They even have those little thingies on the pump handle so that you don't have to stand in the cold like an imbecile waiting for your tank to fill up. It may be a little sketchy, with the taped up pumps and all. But I've been using it for years, my car still runs, and I save a couple of pennies every time I fill up the tank.

Warning (although if you've been in the Capital Region for a while, you probably already know this): THIS PLACE IS CONSISTENTLY MORE EXPENSIVE THAN OTHER STATIONS. Unfortunately, I realized this AFTER filling up here. Also, their pump was whack. It didn't top off nicely, and the holder-thing wasn't working, so I had to hold it in my tank and squeeze the handle until it was done.
