I've been passing this gas station throughout the past several years while doing Uber, and when I…read morewas severely close by (having dropped off a rider on Lincoln St a few minutes away) when I came upon it, I knew it was just that "right time and the right place." I had seen this location from a distance before, and although gas pricing here tends to be a little higher than most places (especially if you don't have a Price Plus card), I tried to stop in to try it out. However, it was the wrong decision. I knew I had my GasBuddy card to worry about and which is only accepted at pay-at-the-pump transactions. However, although it took my card, I was never asked before nor after the transaction if I wanted a receipt for the gas purchase. I ended up going in to retrieve the receipt - to which the employees were kind, and weren't busy (although the gas lines didn't show that) at all, the transaction went rather smooth. I only noticed a workable glitch in the hose location, and since this was the first time I had to fill up this newer car (to me), I couldn't quite figure out how far up I needed to go for the hose to reach and the remainder of the hose snagged on the pump hold bar - but was workable as I picked it up for it to reach. What I find most awkward is that although this ShopRite gas location is here, a few blocks down is the nearest ShopRite itself - generally where you find a ShopRite gas, you'll also find a ShopRite itself, and this was completely out of whack of everything I've learned about ShopRite before. (I actually visited that ShopRite in years past, and wrote the review of the location.) Keep in mind that this location is on the same street (Central Ave) as another ShopRite gas, although it is farther away from the other one as to not be interchangeable. It's easily confused - but it isn't the same. It's actually on the opposite side of the street many miles down closer to Albany than the Colonie one. I can't exactly say I'll be back to this location, because of the higher gas prices, but it's nice to know it exists if there's a sale on gas and this isn't crowded - not the case today, but it was my last hope for gas. I didn't really like that this station was rather crowded following the side of the pumps I needed for fitting my car's gas filling location easily. The station looked clean, including the inside of the convenience store, but I still have a wary feeling about this location.

Alltown already has a good rating on Yelp, but on the night we were driving along Erie Blvd. and looking for gas, Gasway had something Alltown did not - accessible pumps. I don't know what was going on over there, but every pump was blocked with an upside-down drum in front of it - perhaps there was some computer issue. Gasway is certainly a much more scaled-down gas station and convenience stop, but if all you're looking for is budget priced gas, you'll be okay here.

Went back to my car and opened the package then realized it's just a battery and charger. I calmly go back in to get pods. I say to the women "I would like a" then cut me off again saying the register is closed, then put a paper bag sign back up saying "Closed". That's when she was counting what looked like thousands of dollars in cash in front of me and the line of customers behind me. The male co-owner said to go to the other register. Fine. Wait 10 minutes. The male co-owner then tells me to go to the register I was just waiting at before! Keep in mind that there's a line of like 12 people behind me, almost taking up the whole store. Overall a horrible horrible experience and I'll never go there ever again. There's a Stewart's down the block where I'll vote with my wallet instead. The people that run this place do not give a fuck about you. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

This…read morelocation has the Stewart's basics - ice cream, coffee, ice, milk, pizza, some prepared food, etc. There are also tables to sit and eat, and the store was clean. Useful location for a Stewart's since there aren't a ton of convenience stores around here.
