The eggs were cooked to perfection and tasted fresh. Similarly, the bacon was done just right. It wasn't too crispy or too undercooked. Likewise, the cheese was melted perfectly in the middle of the omelette to create a harmony of flavors. It was nice to see a diner actually being able to make a great omelette these days. After that, I tried the corned beef hash and it was great. To explain, the corned beef hash was savory, salty, and richly meaty, with a distinctive tangy and spiced kick from the cured beef. It was definitely homemade which is a rarity nowadays. Without wasting words, Duncan's Dairy Bar is a delightful old school diner that offers tasty homemade breakfast options.

What a busy Thursday, the streets were filled, patios full all around, and a beautiful clear night for some ice cream. It had been a while since I had been to Dutch Udder, and they have expanded but still offer the same great homemade ice cream. I went for a tropical pick - some beach. It was a fun flavor! I wish I got more ice cream to go. It is a little pricy at $5.75 for a kiddie size, but the quality is there to back it up. The expanded seating area was so cute! I loved the decor and cute seating. It was the perfect area to meet up with some friends for an hour. Every time I venture out to Troy, I love it a little more. Come get some ice cream!

At one point all I could scoop out were toppings and it was just too rich for me. However, the ice cream, when I did get a scoop of it out was delicious! Just watch out those sundaes are huge!
