I tried to pump gas twice today, and the pump simply was not working. I went inside and the clerk was sitting in his chair scrolling on his phone. I asked if he could check what might be wrong with the pump. Instead of helping, the clerk immediately responded in a very dismissive tone telling me that I "have to put the handle in the tank" -- as if I didn't know how to pump gas. I explained that I had already tried twice, and his response was even more dismissive: "That's your problem." I could have gone to another pump but my cc was already read by the pump I am a business owner myself, and this is absolutely not how you speak to customers. Basic kindness and customer service go a long way. Very disappointing experience.

I said I better stop and get gas now in case I don't find another gas station nearby. From the outside, gas station looks fine, but once I got closer, the gas pump looked very beat up. Lots of scratches on the surface. Price was flickering so I couldn't see how much it was per gallon. No paper so no receipt printed. If I wanted a receipt, I had to walk in to see the cashier, but I didn't. This station definitely needs some improvement. Hope it gets the attention and good care it needs in the very near future. Never had a problem with any other attendant that works here especially when I need air. I pulled up and asked the attendant if he could turn on the air, and he said it's 2$, I responded, that it's California, and air is FREE. He responded that it's free only for customers. I told him I normally pump gas here and today I only needed air. I had to pump gas even though I didn't need to just to use the air. After a long conversation, he finally agreed to cover the repairs and mentioned that he appreciated my business, as I had been bringing my car there for over 10 years. However, it has now been over a year since the incident, and one of the employees has told me that I can no longer bring my cars there, even though I have continued to come back, spending my money there, trusting their services, and relying on them for my vehicle's maintenance.
