They fixed my alternator quickly and efficiently. Their oil change is first rate. My old "go to" mechanic did a horrible job on an oil change, not tightening the oil filter and one of my car now has this ghastly noise when starting up in the morning. It was a traumatic experience and the jerk owner did not take any responsibility. Coming to this place for oil change is giving me my confidence in trusting "people" again. One of the service workers here set up an air pump to inflate the tires on my car. Then, he swung the door open and made a huge dent in my car, exposing the metal. I immediately made the employee aware of it. He called the owner, who came and offered to apply some touch-up paint to make the damage less visible instead of using the company's insurance to properly fix it. After a long conversation, he finally agreed to cover the repairs and mentioned that he appreciated my business, as I had been bringing my car there for over 10 years. However, it has now been over a year since the incident, and one of the employees has told me that I can no longer bring my cars there, even though I have continued to come back, spending my money there, trusting their services, and relying on them for my vehicle's maintenance. Stopped here to get gas for my work truck. It wasn't too busy at all and I noticed the owner or the cashier outside changing the trash where my truck was located. He kind of kept hovering around which was weird, but then I asked him if he had a machine for air for the tire and if I needed to pay. He said of course and I went to ask him if I needed to pay at the air machine or with him and he said it was free which was nice. I'm never really too sure nowadays. I came to pump gas one time and by the time I noticed the red tamper evident tape was lifted, it was too late. 5 stars for cheap gas. I've been coming here for 10 years just because the prices are always comparatively low. Negative stars for: Filthy pumps; the buttons and handles are always dirty. Horrible customer service! The machines don't work. They weren't reading my card so I went to the attendant (apparently 3 people had the same issue at different pumps while I was there). Not gonna lie, the only reason why I go to this gas station is because it's super close to my house. Today as I was pumping gas, I started wiping my windshield and windows. The clerk approached me and said, "If you wanna clean your car there's a car wash across the street for $6." First of all, that was uncalled for and I'm a paying customer. And second, if I wanted a car wash I would go there myself. But I was merely cleaning my windshield, and just because I had my own microfiber cloth to wipe doesn't mean I want to clean my entire car. It is located in a fairly safe neighborhood with restaurants close by. If you have a fuel rewards card, it no longer works on the machines for some reason.. Tried telling the lady at the counter but she just told me that I have to use the card with the machine. Don't come here expecting SERVICE because usually there is a little old lady at the cash register and she' about as savvy with the air and water hose as I am (which means on a scale of 1 thru ten - minus 3). Out of all the times i've tried to get gas here they are always closed before the posted time of 9:45pm on google and yelp, sometimes as early as 9. I usually avoid this location but sometimes one winds up there and why drive more than necessary. Prices are decent-competitive. What makes this a poor score is the attendant. The older lady is ALWAYS on the cell phone. She will look at you then continue her call, etc. She'll wave her hand to pass the money all while still talking on the phone. The car indicates how many gallons are left so I calculate the amount based on the current price and this is usually some odd like $27 or $52 that will be needed to fill the tank. I state the amount desired and pass the cash for rounded up amount $30, $55 waiting for change. She punches in the whole amount. Then tells me to come back for change. WTF, sometimes this isn't a big deal but the inefficiency and extra time one wants to do it one shot and get out. Not come back when there are 2-3 people waiting for her to get off the phone and complete their transactions too. Forget swiping the card. Have had enough compromised incidents using the business card to suspect that many of the gas pump readers are being skimmed. Always pay cash now. read more

Probably one of the only shell's I try to actively avoid. This one and the other one right next to the freeway entrance on the corner of Studebaker and South. I had to go in to use my card instead of being able to do everything at the pump. In 2016, this is very annoying. The prices are normal. The location is ok. It's not as difficult to maneuver around in this location. Just a bare bones Shell with outdated or better yet, not updated pumps. I would still go if I wasn't in a rush or didn't mind the walk. But I personally would avoid this one and find a way to go to the Shell (Nick's Shell service) on pioneer and 183rd. It's just a better location for everything you want to do. I drive for my job, and I've been to several gas stations. I just stopped in to clean my windows and holy crap... they actually had window squeegees that actually worked. Most of the time I find ones that either have the sponge side torn up or the other side to wipe the water off leave streaks. I just left this place. The only thing good about this place is the convenience of its location . I walked up to the window and asked the lady for cigarettes for my fiancé . She then said they only take cash which I thought was odd but I didn't think much of it. I went to my car and got some cash and she told me my total was 5.75. The pack that I bought cleary said 75 cents off but when I asked her if I got the 75 cents off my purchase she said they do not honor that discount or any discount at their location and everything was at a set price of 5.75.
