Prices are high, especially compared to some of the cheap little places here and around Boston, but overall it's a friendly gas station with nice service, decent bathrooms, and plenty of products inside to add calories while you're driving. There is generally at least one non working pump at all times, guy just screams at you that it is the customers job to move their car from pump to pump, repeating the credit cards transaction each time until you find one that works. Entering your credit card multiple times for one transaction seems sketchy. One star because this is definitely the place to go if you want to be blamed for this guys poor life choices and to give him an outlet for his anger issues.

I always make sure to fill up here after doing some shopping, before hitting the road. I remember dreading going to Costco's as a kid but as an adult now, it brings me so much joy hahahaha. I've been making cold press juices lately at home & love buying fruits + vegetables in bulk from here... especially carrots, oranges, apples, & ginger. Things I usually buy from here include: $4.99 rotisserie chicken, fruits, frozen fruit, croissants, cases of water, meats, & salmon. I used to buy my milk from here but nowadays, I just go to Wegman's for that. Another great thing about Costco's that I would like to add, other than the great prices for things in bulk, is if you buy your tires from here, they offer complimentary lifetime tire rotations. Why do I stop here? Mainly, convenience. It is near work, on my way home BUT, they also have low, competitive gas prices. So I never feel I have to go out of my way to go somewhere else to save 5-10 cents. The owners/management/employees are always friendly (and seem to remember me) They have an air pump for tires out front, a fully stocked convenience store with well priced red bull and other stuff that will probably eventually kill me, and always seem to be open They do have a garage too, but I have not needed their services in that aspect. Convenience is key, Location is key. But good service, good prices, and everything you need make it a great place to stop and fill up (and much better than some of the others within a mile..)

I also like how the gas prices are cheap, at least a bit less than some of the other stations in the area. The convenience store is convenient (hence the name), and it has any BASIC needs. This is not a huge convenience store and does not have what more and more of gas station stores carry in these days (those new Cumberland Farms are amazing....). Additionally, Stop&Shop points are accepted here (and any other Shell). If you shop at Stop&Shop and use your card, for every $100 spent you will get 10 cents off each gallon. I'm normally able to save around $.30 or possibly more. This is also the only gas station for miles on the Northbound side of Route 1 / Providence Highway. The next closest station on Providence Highway is the Stop&Shop station in Dedham, at the Dedham Mall (5 minutes down the road). If you are on the southbound side, use the other Shell in Westwood..... they are great too! 5 stars.

I remembered there was a gas station here, and thought it would be the perfect place to stop and fill up as this Sunoco always has good prices for being on Route 1 (any gas station on any highway is always higher priced than a gas station on a deserted road or town center, for some odd reason). To my surprise, the station was closed for renovation. Now, that day I was disappointed with this station, but now, being brand new and all, it's GREAT! The store is much larger than its previous state and carries cold drinks, sweet candy, and delicious snacks for your busy trip down Route 1. They also have coffee and lots of other perks inside, like an ATM and ice machine. The gas station isn't ever too busy, has lots of space (isn't in a congested spot along the highway) and has very helpful employees inside. They have cool cash register screens as well as an interesting rewards system. The gas station is accessible via Route 1 Southbound, or on Neponset Street, just before the Route 1 interchange. Even though I live in Westwood, it's sometimes easier coming to Norwood for whatever I need…read more Whether it's a dozen of eggs, a box of baking powder, a pizza, or a greeting card... there are very few options in Westwood Center, and normally everything is cheaper throughout the decent amount of stores on Nahatan Street.... including gas. Now, I love my local stations in Westwood, but sometimes (or very frequently) are they WAYYYY overpriced. I do visit them often if I'm headed that way, but other times, this is the closest place where I can save BIG time. Now, I'm definitely exaggerating the other gas stations.... it's really not the Westwood stations are overpriced, but with Stop&Shop Gas Points, Shell becomes the cheapest option every time. This is closest Shell station to my house, and sits on Pleasant Street in Norwood. It's gotten marginally busier ever since the Mobil closed up shop on Nahatan Street, but still is barely ever busy. It actually is located in what I consider the middle of nowhere. It's not visible from the main streets and would do much better if located on Nahatan instead. Then again, lucky for me, it's like my own gas station almost every time. The employees are always friendly, kind and helpful, and they even provide full serve here! Yes, you can do self if you like, but if you use the far two pumps, those are full serve. Very infrequent to find cheap full serve gas stations around these days..... I wish any of the towns around would add a new "Full Serve Law" like in many other places have out west. Overall, I really like this gas station and try to use my Stop&Shop points here the most.... they are much better than the "average" Shell station in Walpole. 5 stars for this Shell!

This gas station used to be called RoJo and sold to the Irving chain of gas stations. Locals still…read morerefer to it as RoJo's as the RoJo car wash is still on the property. They have 12 self-serve pumps with long hoses so that customers may use either side. There is a one-way entrance on Rt. 1 South. They have the cheapest gas around with cash purchases being less than credit and if you get a car wash during the same visit, the gas is even less expensive. There is an attendant at the booth who can make change. Bills can be inserted at the pumps and they have their own rewards program for additional savings on gas. I always plan to get gas here when I am nearby.

I just had the worst experience at this location trying to get an inspection sticker. They failed…read moremy car that has practicly a new muffler stating that there was a leak. After, I went to a muffler shop that inspected the muffler and the muffler shop said that there were no issues with it. Mind you that this wasn't even the muffler shop that installed the muffler so there is no bias here. I returned back to the Gulf station with the document from the muffler shop and they still refused to give me a passing sticker. They then refused to take my car down off of the lift when I wanted to leave. After finally getting my car off the lift I then went to another inspection station that passed it with no problem. The workers at the Gulf station were very confrontational and rude. The mechanic stated to me that "I do it all"
