It can get quite busy in here during the morning rush hour. They have a selection of magazines, sweets, and chocolate and other such items.

    Takanini

Clean, tidy, the staff are friendly and helpful. Good food and great coffee…read more I normally stop here instead of BP Drury or BP Pukekohe because it's usually 6c to 10c cheaper per litre of 91 octane gas. Takanini is a pretty tough area at the moment and is being gentrified with new housing developments and new shopping centres. The large chain stores have evacuated their stores from Papakura township north to Takanini's shopping hubs. There are still pockets of resistance to progress. Manuroa Road, parts of Porchester Road and Rountree Place are not the places to be at night...or the weekend. This BP is quite handy for its location. It is also far enough from the areas resistant gentrification so as to predominantly preclude the kind of volume crime that is prevalent in Papakura and Manurewa. The handy location also sees Police from Papakura and from the Manurewa Police Stations refill at this petrol station whether that is because they're making their way to and from priority call outs when covering their neighbouring Police area. All in all, a recommended stop...just make sure you don't leave your car unlocked with a handbag or purse in plain view on the front seat.

I had begun to fill my car and was then washing the windows. Unfortunately the latch hadn't slipped over the pump handle so I only had a dollar's worth of gas in the tank. Because of the time lapse I could not get the pump to restart and as there was no forecourt attendant went into the service station to receive assistance. A young Asian man was standing at the counter and told Sam that his car would not fill. She rolled her eyes and spoke to him in an extremely sarcastic manner, asking him if he had pressed the lever, waited etc.. He told her that he had done all of that and that was why he was now seeking assistance. She shrugged her shoulders and turned to the next customer. She was chewing gum during the entire conversation. I asked about my problem and she told me to plug the pump back in to the bowser to reset it. As I came out of the door I told the young man that I thought she had been extremely rude. He brightened and said that he thought so too. A forecourt attendant then arrived to assist him. I filled with gas and as there was a customer waiting pulled into the shop zone so that he could fill. While I was waiting this customer entered and told her that he could not fill. Chewing on her gum she rolled her eyes and told him sarcastically that he would have to wait as the previous customer had not paid. I said" do you know how rude you are?" . She chewed slowly on her gum and shrugged. I will not be back!!! Service??? A joke!! I
