If you come here between the hours of 10 and 5, a lovely helpful attendant will come out to your car, do your petrol for you, offer to clean your windows, and if you are paying with cash they will take it in; like old petrol station service of Back Then. After five or in the morning you have to do all that stuff yourself, but that's OK. The staff are always really nice and helpful and the place is not usually busy either, which is great. There's always heaps of traffic around though so pulling out on the main road can be a massive pain.

I usually fill up 1-2 times a fortnight, depending on how much driving I do of course! They have many (petrol) pumps: stock diesel, 95 and 98 petroleum. The "On the Run" shop has a resident "Subway" and small coffee counter. They have most grocery items, beverages, car products, magazines all at premium price. Also there is a ATM inside. Bonus. All the staff are friendly, polite and efficient. Just need a car wash now!

Aside from them having someone to…read morefill up the tank for me and clean the windows, they are en route to the Southern Motorway, which makes it really handy. The staff are usually friendly and like to make small talk. The station is normally in a spit spot condition (you know, for a petrol station) and they have some good promotions on a regular basis. It's also across from a Video Ezy store, which I've always thought was incredibly handy. Now to actually go and rent out a movie while I fill up!

Well, technically yes, but this place excels in customer service. It's one of the few places in Auckland that has the 'concierge service' of filling up your car for you, which is really great for people who don't know exactly how to use that button where you can leave the pump going without having to hold the handle down (me, up until a year and a half ago) and the guys seem genuinely interested in serving you. They're so friendly. I have no idea what their prices are compared to other branches of gas stations, but it doesn't really matter. You go there for the service.
