Party of two for lunch. We ordered the steak Caesar salad and soup. I chose chili for my soup my wife had the loaded potato soup. The chili was different from any chili I've ever had but it was very very good. They loaded potato soup was incredible very flavorful and topped with bacon scallops and cheese my wife enjoyed it. The steak Caesar salad's are huge mistake was cooked SBS as ordered. All the vegetables were fresh and crunchy dressing was nice. The whole bill was reasonable under $40 with drinks. I would recommend if you have a chance to stop by and support this local business.

Nice local place in Vevay, Indiana. Good food, nice service and good sized portions. Trying to support local restaurants when we camp in the area and this was a nice find! It's attached to Mo's Steakhouse, but we think that is due to reduced crowds for now.

First time here and if I had more days in my week or lived in the area, would not be my last. My wife and I came out here for a week, stayed at the Belterra and found this hidden gem a day before our departure date. It's a mom pop family restaurant, family friendly, great service, good prices, and the food tastes delicious... I've had grilled chicken just about anywhere, this one y far is the best testing, juciest chicken I've had in a long time... Looks like it's a spot in this little town... This gem is a must try! If we're ever back in this area, we would eat here again. We're a long way from home, as we are from Palm Bay, FL.

Mo's Steakhouse is a good sized location with a variety of menu options, from burgers to catfish to steak and ribs. The food is generally good and I love their salads. The service can be inattentive and a bit slow if they're very busy, which they usually are in the evenings. It can also get very loud when the restaurant is full. There is an attached bar at the rear of the restaurant that is separated from the restaurant by a door that is kept closed. The televisions are in a smaller section of the restaurant that used to be set aside for smoking until the recent passage of the smoking ban in Indiana. They have at least one, usually two, daily specials that are cheaper than the regular menu price or items that are not carried regularly. For example: a t-bone with choice of potato, vegetable side (they usually have just 2 to choose from) plus soup or salad and dinner rolls for $16.95. The steak is usually quite large and well cooked to specification. I've never ordered dessert there because I am always too full to eat it. I frequently order a house salad with the buffalo chicken tenders as my entire meal. The chicken tender meal includes the same options as the t-bone meal I described above and that's just too much food. Either make sure you're very hungry, or plan on bringing some of your meal home with you. All in all, Mo's is a fair restaurant, though I do prefer to avoid it when it's very full due to the noise. The owner frequently leaves the kitchen to visit tables to ensure that everything is to his patron's liking, which is a nice touch.

I stopped by the hostess desk to see if we could push back the reservation. This was a busy Saturday Night and she could not have been more accommodating. She took my name and assured me it was not a problem. Thirty minutes later we returned and the hostess called me by name. We were quickly seated with Erin (remember her name) who asked if we were going to the concert that night. She made suggestions that would help with our time restriction. She was spot on with the 12oz Barrel Cut Filet. You could almost cut it with only the fork. My wife had the 8oz Filet, and she said it was maybe the best steak she's ever had. We had the mashed potatoes and mac-n-cheese as our delicious sides. After our meal, Erin suggested we come back for coffee and dessert, which we did. My wife had the creme brûlée and I had the tiramisu. Both are made in house and delicious. Well worth the price. Great food, great drinks (try the smoked old fashioned) and top notch exceptional service.

The complimentary soft bread was good but the "chips" cheapened the meal. We ordered the chop salad and Caesar salad and both were served warm. The Caesar salad was terrible. It had a strange after taste, but the flavor of the chop salad was ok. The sear on the steaks were really good and cooked to perfection. The mashed potatoes were so tasty; 2nd best I've ever had! The mac & cheese was bland. Tasted like too much cream was added, which took away any taste of cheese. The chocolate cake was ok, but I don't believe it is made in house. It's reminiscent of a Malones chocolate cake. We were also served with a complimentary dessert which was a tempered chocolate cup filled with whipped cream topped with chocolate and strawberry sauce. It was pretty but not appetizing for us to eat a cup of whipped cream. Overall we enjoyed checking this restaurant off our list but will not return (we drove over 2 hours just to try this restaurant)

The place is a good size, volume was nice, they have both indoor and outdoor seating along with the bar, too. Our waitress was super nice, allowed us to modify our drinks a little and our meal. The only downfall was the food took forever to come. We were there for about an hour and a half from start to finish. Drinks were good, strong. The "grilled" Caesar salad was not grilled but honestly i preferred it that way. We got the chicken meal and it was phenomenal. The chicken, the potatoes, and the sauce were so good. The salmon presentation was beautiful and delicious!

So I was very selective about where I made our reservation. The menu looked amazing and I was looking forward to splurging on what I hoped would be excellent steak and seafood. We arrived on time and were immediately welcomed by kind staff. I was pleased to see a birthday card on the table for my husband signed by all their staff, such a nice touch! Our waitress Page was wonderful! She was very friendly and gave thoughtful recommendations on the food selections. The bartender was also awesome and made a special mocktail for me and specialty drinks for my husband's birthday. I could tell he loved his job and went the extra mile to make us great drinks. To start I ordered the roasted pear salad and scallops with grits. Considering the restaurant was relatively empty, the food service was very slow. However, my starters were both great quality and tasty. The problems didn't start until it was time for our entrees. They didn't arrive until about 30 minutes after we were done eating our appetizers, possibly longer. It felt like forever. But we could be patient for quality food. Unfortunately, that isn't what we received. I ordered the surf and turf with filet and lobster. I took one bite of my lobster and told my husband I had never been served bad lobster until that night. It was by far the worst tasting lobster I ever had. I initially thought maybe it needed more butter and was just a problem with seasoning. However, I took one additional bite which was still awful and stopped eating it completely. My husband took a bite of his lobster and immediately spit it out complaining of a strong ammonia smell. He thought there was cleaning solution in it and told me to look up on Google what that might mean. When I did I was unpleasantly surprised to find it meant the lobster was "spoiled and unsafe to eat". I had wished I hadn't eaten any of it being 5 months pregnant! It was the worst feeling. On a side note, my asparagus was overcooked and my husband's medium rare steak was well done. The horrible smell emanating from the lobster completely ruined the rest of the meal for me. I took my filet to go, but threw it away once we were home fearing it might be contaminated. If this review was based on the service/staff bartender and general manager it would easily be 5 stars. The general manager who I believe is Emily was really kind about the bad bad experience with our entrees and did comp several items from our tab. However, I really just wanted an amazing meal and celebration for my husband. Instead I had to worry about spoiled/unsafe to eat seafood and if that might harm my baby. In a restaurant with prices like this one, you'd expect fresh seafood. It's hard to imagine the chefs could miss the horrible smell from our cooked lobster. I really hate leaving a bad review because the service and staff really were amazing. However, I've seen too many Gordon Ramsay shows where he inspects restaurant kitchens and am really strict about food safety and quality. It should be every restaurants main concern that their food is safe to eat. I would never choose to eat at a fine dining establishment which served spoiled/smelly seafood.

The best food I had in Louisville and maybe anywhere in 2026 - we ate here 4 times in our short 2…read moreday trip. Breakfast: simple yet served quickly and a large portion. The American breakfast had large potato pieces, good sausage, and made to order eggs. Hot coffee was on the better side for hotel coffee. Dinner: they were super accommodating, as we were traveling with a friend with an infant. I called ahead to let them know we would come in with a stroller, and they made sure to sit us in an area where the stroller was not in the way of servers or other guests. Our server was one of the most attentive people I have ever met, and every recommendation they gave was fantastic. We started with the oyster rockefellar and the spicy tuna tartare. The oysters were massive and the tuna dish was so good, we got it a second time later in the weekend. We all got steaks for our mains and added a lobster tail - there was a mix up with the lobster tail taking a bit and they ended up bringing out the largest lobster tail to make up for it. All steaks, their sides, and sauces were fantastic- better than most I have had in the DC area. The food was all rich so under order or share amongst friends. Cocktails were of course fantastic, from espresso martinis to the famous smoked old fashions. We had drinks at the bar another night and the service was just as good, though they did tell us that they didn't serve the drink in a smoke box when we certainly had one just a night before.

It's a nice hotel, and a pleasant steakhouse, but not sure it demands quite that much love. Most importantly, they don't know how to cook a steak. The flavor is spot on, you can really taste the wood fire, and the steaks are seasoned well. But the wife ordered a filet medium and it came out blood rare. My medium rare strip was presented rare, which I'm ok with, though it was noticeably still a bit more cooked than her "medium" filet. Having to return a steak to get it cooked properly, at an apparently well respected upscale steakhouse, is a disappointment, a big bump in the middle of a pleasant evening. We started with the oysters rock, which were quite good, and quite large. The french onion soup was a nice classic version. We split an heirloom tomato salad, and each still got two very large and thick slices of tomato, making the split a good sized salad for each of us. The balsamic pearls were a treat. An unexpected pleasure were the parker house rolls. Yum. Though between enjoying them, with the split salad, splitting the oysters, and the soup, we'd clearly over ordered! Repeal is a pleasant fine dining spot in the midst of the Louisville downtown action. They just need to learn how to cook steaks to temp before they rise to a truly 5 star destination.
