Bottom Line: A reliable and friendly transportation service in Moab. Moab isn't a place where you can easily summon an Uber or Lyft so when you need reliable, short term transportation Moab Express is the go-to company. Moab Express runs shuttles from Canyonlands (CNY) airport to downtown Moab and that schedule is based upon the commercial airline schedule. But, my husband and I needed a ride mid-morning, not in connection with the commercial airline schedule so we scheduled a private ride from CNY to downtown Moab. Scheduling was easy and I originated our reservation through the chat feature on Moab Express' website. I forget who helped me make my reservation but she was super helpful and her chat messages were clear and articulate. Several days before our ride we received a confirmation message from Moab Express which further boosted my confidence that they would not leave us stranded at the airport. On the day of our ride Ron was at the pickup spot early with a clean van. We really enjoyed our ride with Ron as he was friendly, informative and a safe driver. I'm very thankful to have found reliable transportation in Moab and I'd be happy to schedule a ride with Moab Express again. read more

We were flying into the small Moab airport and in need of transportation to our hotel. We read on several websites that there is only really one taxi driver in town, plus a handful of Uber/Lyft drivers, so the wait times could be a while. On the recommendation of our hotel, we booked transportation for two of us. Initially, I thought the cost was a little high but I saw on another site how expensive a taxi ride is, so that put it in perspective. The shuttle service was perfectly on time, clean and affordable. The drivers handled the pick-up and drop-off efficiently and were really friendly! Apart from the ride and drivers, the online help and chat are really quick to respond to changes and accommodate requests. I had no idea when flying into Moab there are no ubers or taxis at the airport and thankfully a gal from Moab told me in Denver and I booked the last one of the day to get to my hotel. Also cheaper than my Uber at home and the driver was great and full of info. I booked it for the way back now, $25 each way which is way cheaper than an bee or Lyft if they had them. Shared ride but no worries, so much to see on the drive from CNY to Hotel in Moab it was worth it. read more

Punctual, super helpful, knowledgable about the local geography, places to eat, stay, etc. They picked up travelers in our shuttle that ordered a local uber at the airport that seemed to have bailed on them. We took the Moab Express to the airport because the front desk at our hotel suggested it when we inquired about transportation. The shuttle arrived 20 minutes late even though it required us to be ready 15 minutes early. There was no acknowledgement of this by the driver when they finally arrived and we got to the airport 15 minutes after the confirmed drop off time. The service otherwise was clean, safe and friendly. If given another opportunity I would choose a different service. read more

We utilized Moab express for a private tour of Arches National Park. Our guide, Rory was so informative, enthusiastic, patient and accommodating. We had a better experience than we would have touring the park on our own. Highly recommend and hope they expand to include hiking tours soon! read more

Great service! You'll want to book this ahead if you're flying into Moab. As I have discovered in small towns before, there's not a predictable car rental company or Taxi/Uber/Lyft system serving the town meaning you can get stranded if you don't book a head. Moab Express takes on the spot bookings if they happen to be there when you arrive though! I would book with this company again. Wish they had an electronic way to tip, maybe a Venmo id? I would have tipped but rarely have cash on hand anymore. read more

We are so lucky for booking with Moab Express. We were visiting the parks near Moab and came in via Amtrak. The vehicle was exactly what we were looking for and was able to easily accommodate our party and all of our luggage. The driver was absolutely great, kept us updated, was a great driver, and went above and beyond in ensuring we made it to where we needed to go. The whole process was very simple. The website did glitch(not sure if it was on my end or theirs) but I contacted him right away and we got everything corrected. He was very polite, helpful and friendly. It was a very efficient process and it made my transportation from the Moab airport into town very relaxing. When you consider being left at the Airport, while you are still on the Airplane that is waiting by the Gate to disembark, because of another Airplane is at the Gate not yet ready to embark, I cannot give a very good review. Then be given the reason for being left is: the driver thought everyone had gotten off the Plane? Really? There are only two Fights a day in Moab. My Receipt even stated the Departure Time of the Shuttle was 3:30. Our Airplane arrived 10 minutes early. (2:50) The Shuttle had already left with the Passengers from the above Airplane that was still at the Gate. I did get a Text from the driver asking if I was at the Airport. Which I received while said Airplane was taxing en route to the gate. I replied I was and was still on the Plane. Too late as the driver had already left!!! read more

We couldn't find a way out of Moab As there were no rental cars available as there were no rental cars available! So we called them and Tom gave us a terrific option and helped us get on the train and then I left a bag in the shuttle and Tom called me and is arranging to have it mailed to me. Short Version: Highly recommend! DRIVER: Tom (driver/owner/wearer of all the hats) is an absolute gem. He's professional, so pleasant, and is a wealth of information about all things Moab and local National Parks. TRANSPORTATION: His shuttle van is really nice, clean, and pretty new looking. It's a larger van that seats more than 10. I didn't count, but it's similar to a Transit or Sprinter Van. It's also easy to get into/out of (no hunching over to get to your seat). COMMUNICATIONS: super quick email replies. SERVICE: He waited on me after an hour flight delay and was able to take a couple other people whose rides were not there. COST: outstanding! It was the best I found in Moab (by at least $15) and it saved me from renting a car for a day. RESERVATIONS: yes. I booked this and paid for it online. But if he has the space, he can accommodate ride requests at the airport (which I thought was really cool). TRUSTWORTHY: Very. The best way to get to and from Canyonlands airport! Efficient and friendly customer service when you call, and the shuttle takes you door to door to/from your hotel or airbnb. The airport is very small, so they will come and pick you up according to your flight time. The shuttle is very comfortable, and it's the most economic option as well. read more
