Matt's attention to detail and communication was not only friendly but professional, as there were multiple parts configurations for this years' make and model. When the part arrived Karina called promptly so we could set up an installation time. We put the vehicle the same day I was due for surgery, but my surgery time was moved up earlier in the day. I asked Karina if there would be a possibility to keep my vehicle over night if my husband couldn't come retrieve it, and she said they'd keep it in the garage if needed. My husband and a friend were able to pay for the installation and pick up the vehicle that night, as I paid for the part in advance. The level of service, consideration and kindness were unmatched. We had some problems with a stereo installed by another vendor that Mo Music fixed. They also installed insulation in my doors and really improved the acoustics in my pickup. Consequently, I also had them install sound insulation in my wife's car's doors and floor which made her car feel much more premium. Good pricing compared with several other vendors. read more

Looking for help to fix the back up camera for the 4Runner.. I left my great stereo installer back in Sac. four years ago, and haven't had to find another. I reached out via (of course) Yelp, and received contact info quickly. I had previously scheduled to drop off in the past but on my part had to cancel.. So I'll be dropping the 4Runner off and hopefully it's a short or crossed wiring.. If all goes well, I will get a quote for a front camera for my Lexus NX.. Just picked up the 4Runner, and so happy! I just had to come back and post another review about installing my Dash Cam at MoMusic. Some might think $800 to install a dash cam on a $20,000 vehicle isn't worth it, but I figured it would be a long term investment. I didn't imagine that just two weeks after it being installed, I'd be pulling the video off to send to my insurance. Well, not only did this backup camera that MoMusic expertly installed catch the person running right into the back of me, but it caught them INTENTIONALLY HITTING MY CAR, looking directly at me and running right into me. So, sucks for my car, but is making this process insanely easy with my insurance. Thank you again MoMusic for installing a dash cam that is quite literally saving me thousands of dollars and making it impossible for her insurance to try to deny me. read more

****UPDATE 8/20/2023**** After posting this review Mo attempted to bully me regarding my review. I did not cave in and left reviews in other places. I will not be bullied. Additionally, I removed my remote start today and found some of the sketchiest work I have dealt with. Wires opened and exposed, with a new wire twisted in and connected loosely. No attempt to wrap said spots.or even use proper equipment such as inline connectors to provide a clean install. Bolts were left lose when putting back together. Some of the spots where the dash connected back into itself had been bent and forced back. Maurice takes such pride in his work, and his employees. Yet what I saw here today proves he doesn't care. Extremely poor work, extremely poor attitude. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING THIS SHOP AT ALL COSTS. read more

Needed to get a new large screen head unit and new back-up camera to replace a very unusable third-party set-up that came with my 2011 RV on Sprinter chassis. Initially spoke with Mo and he suggested what could be done. At the appointed time, Matt installed a Stinger unit with 4 cameras (back, sides and front), He also set it up to run off my "house" batteries, so that I don't run down the starter battery when listening to music while boondocking for extended periods. After my motor home batteries decided to die, so did the electronic "guts" for the radio/back-up camera/Bluetooth phone, etc, I think you get the idea. I called the business that does the mechanical work on the motor home and they suggested Mo Music. I am so glad they did! I dropped off my motor home about 9:30 am so they could try to troubleshoot the problem. When I went to pick up the MH, I found out that the problem was still not figured out but Mo did a workaround so I would be able to use my motor home. When I did more research after getting back home, I found out that this was a problem this piece of equipment has been having and no one has really figured it out! I am so happy Mo did the workaround! He ran another wire to give the equipment the needed power and the bill was about half of what I expected. read more

I recently bought a Alpine Carplay stereo and I was kind of hunting around for shops to install the stereo. I had even made an appointment with a different "reputable" car audio shop, but became horrified when I read the Yelp reviews. I promptly canceled that appointment and started browsing Yelp for car audio shops. Mo Music came up and I liked what I read! I called Mo Music on Thursday night about 30 minutes before closing. They were courteous and answered all of my questions. They told me to bring my car by in the morning at 9:00 and they could assess the situation and likely have it done the same day. I arrived at 9:00 am for my appointment and was greeted by a friendly staff. I took the technician out to my car and showed him the head unit, my current stereo, and some concerns I had about how to access the USB port. Before I even completed the concern, they had the solution. With the general game plan and cost idea, I left the car with them so they could get to work. The car was there about 4 hours and then I got the call that it was all finished. I promptly came and picked the car up and they went over the install with me, showed me the functions of my new head unit, and answered all of my questions. I paid exactly what was quoted. No more, no less. We even had a good laugh at the wiring harness the previous owner of my car must've installed. I highly recommend Mo Music for your audio installation needs as they are friendly, knowledgeable, and highly accommodating.
