My Outback has the Starlink head unit which the responding person said, an upgraded speaker system cannot be added to. With a little research it turns out lots of Subaru owners and state shops have had success the harnesses/load resistors made by OEM Audio Plus, Encore, AutoHarnessHouse and AudioControl. So if you have a 2020 and up Subaru with the Starlink head unit this is NOT your shop.

Went back to ask about the speakers he said they were connected and assured me it was so I left it as is but I kept noticing no noise from customs speakers so. I ended up going somewhere else in town and they ended up finding that those speakers were never connected !!! So now I'm down 500 bucks. For the work that they supposedly did. Don't do business with them would not recommend service. So many more audios business in Reno that do honest work and do honest by the people. But not these guys

No static or any interference noise. Clean sound. Prices were great and they were friendly from what I was told. That's the good. The bad... see pictures posted. The door panels were not put back correctly. It wasn't a missed/careless mistake because all four panels were put back wrong! So if all four was put back wrong, either someone noticed and didn't care, or they didn't know how to do it. I can see the gaps between the window and panel from standing outside my car. My car is not the most fun car to work on. I seem to be the odd review so I'd still check them out, but check their work.

Plus Audio Express had more of a selection on car stereos than Reno Auto Sounds. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and the customer service at Audio Express. The stereo works as expected. It was a worthy choice to get tuned by these guys but maybe next time the front guy can put a smile on his face and a personality.
