What a great family run business. Quick, responding to all my questions, professional workmanship! They took excellent care of my Grandmas chair. Thank you Uplift! read more

If I could give them - 10 I would . They stole over $800 from me, took my chair and then skipped town. I should've have known something was off. Major white trash . Con man comes to mind and I fell for it he's in jail and his wife was another scammer . Said she would make payments for the money they stole . I hope she winds up in jail too read more

We needed to have two wingback chairs recovered. After doing some research, we contacted Uplift Upholstery. We sent them pictures of the chairs and they promptly responded with a quote and told us how many yards of fabric to get. The quote was very reasonable so we decided to use them. They did a home visit to look at the chairs, and, after looking at our fabric, told us how they thought the fabric should be placed on the chairs. We agreed with their recommendations so they took the chairs and the fabric to their shop. We got the chairs back in a timely fashion. They were delivered yesterday evening and they are absolutely stunning! We couldn't be happier with the craftsmanship and the look of the chairs. Additionally, their customer service throughout the entire process was flawless. If you need to have anything reupholstered, I highly suggest giving Uplift a call. You won't be disappointed! read more

I have a Restoration Hardware couch that my large dogs have destroyed the fabric of. Because of what I paid for the couch originally, around $4k, I wasn't sure if I should take the couch to the dump or try to reupholster it. I reached out to Uplift Upholstery using Yelp's quote request and within a few hours, Uplift Upholstery got back to me with an estimate and I was surprised at how great their pricing is!! So glad I reached out to them. I will 100% be keeping the couch and having them reupholster it. If you have a solid piece of furniture that you want to give life to again, reach out to Uplift Upholstery for a quote. read more

HORRIBLE JOB! This company doesn't have the know how to do upholstery! They are RUDE and SUPER DISRESPECTFUL . We were sorry we used them. They had done such a bad job they had to come in and redo it and just put a bandaid on the problem. Yep this is a company with out the know how and respect to do RIGHT by the customer!! BEWARE!! read more

We had Uplift recover the seats for our 1968 Barracuda. Unfortunately, our seats were a mix of 1967 and 1968 parts, leaving them with limited material to work with. They had only the frames and remnants of the covers. Despite these challenges, they absolutely hit it out of the park. They researched and matched the original patterns from 1968, resulting in a remarkable transformation. Can't wait to show them off at Hot August Nights. Thank you so much! read more

I highly recommend this company and its work. I had a couch pillow zipper that my dog decided to use as a chew toy. Luckily, my dog destroyed the zipper and not the pillow. I contacted a few upholstery repair companies in the area, and Uplift Upholstery was the first to respond. He was in his shop for the day and told me to bring the pillow anytime. Bob couldn't have been easier! We chatted while he made quick work replacing the entire zipper. This guy knows his way around sewing machines and shears. I'm heading back to this guy anytime I need upholstery done. Great work! read more

After getting estimates for outdoor cushions from 3 businesses we decided to go with Uplift. Bob and Cynthia, the owners were gregarious and knowledgeable and their prices and materials were competitive and of good quality. We visited their shop to look at samples and they spent time with us showing the insert materials they use. Bob came out at a later date to measure our seating wall. All interactions went seamlessly. Once the cushions were completed Cynthia and associate delivered them. We were largely pleased with the finished product, the measurements were accurate and the cushions fit nicely and are also comfortable. I was a bit disappointed with the lumbar pillows as I was expecting them to be much bigger. I think something was lost in translation as we spoke about the size of some cushions that were on our other patio furniture and of measurements. All in all the experience with the shop was positive so I Will recommend to others. read more

Responsive, did a GREAT job on redoing 2 couches, pick up and drop off were easy, and have already referred them to a friend.

Professional, Helpful, Courteous, and Knowledgable. This is how I felt after meeting and working with Bob and his staff. During a recent storm, the high winds broke the zipper on our 5th wheel cover, so my wife reviewed the Reno area upholstery businesses, then called and spoke with Bob. I decided to drive to the shop and meet with Bob, so he could view the cover and zipper. He promptly told me of the zipper type and that he would order the replacement, then call me so I could come back for the repair. Bob did call me back a couple of days later and asked me to come in that day, which I did, with the cover, and when I arrived, he and the staff, stopped what they were doing and they all pitched in to complete the repair. I noticed some boat repair work and some dining room chair repair work too - both of which I asked Bob about and he explained to me what he does, how he does it, and why he chooses specific marine material. So, this simple 5th wheel cover repair job is now snow-balling into 3 more jobs: a boat cover update, a houseboat roof canopy job, and 8 dining room chair seat recovering/foam replacement... So, if you want a person that is knowledgable, honest, polite, respectful, and will ensure that you're satisfied AND happy with the finished product or job, then you'll want to do business here with Bob and his staff. read more

I had Uplift Upholstery redo an antique chair that had been in my family for 100 years. They did an excellent job, repairing some of the wood and rotted internal components along with polishing the exposed wood and brass. The chair looks better than I've ever seen it and will make an awesome conversation/accent piece with its new faux cowhide. read more

I'd give Uplift Upholstery 10 stars if I could. The owners Bob and Cyn are the nicest people you could meet. They helped me reinforce my 4 dinning room chairs in short notice and did a great job. If I could give this company 20 stars I would. Uplift Upholstery, and Bob especially, have gone above and beyond to help us out with a complete upholstery & carpet restoration for the boat. Not only was Bob incredibly responsive, professional, and skilled, but also extremely accommodating when issues arose on our side regarding timing, even so much as to personally load finished pieces onto the truck for delivery so that we could receive them in time for install. Bob is hands down the nicest individual I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I can not begin to express how satisfied we are with the work that has been done and the attentiveness involved and I highly recommend contacting Uplift Upholstery for any jobs. read more

Bob and Cynthia are AMAZING. ANOTHER business had the measurements for my custom plastic cover for my patio for literally 90 days. I took it back after 3 months and called Uplift. Right away Bob assured me that they can handle pretty much anything and that what I was asking for is really simple to fit in between his bigger projects. From the phone call alone I knew I was in good hands. It took him less than 2 weeks to finish my order. I even came back for more orders and they finished in no time. Their receptionist is also amazing and so personable. I always feel like a regular, like they've known me for years when I come in. I couldn't recommend them enough!! read more

Every time we dine at our beautiful refinished dining table and chairs I am grateful for Uplift Upholstery! I can't say enough good things about my experience with Bob at uplift. He promptly replied to my inquiry, on the weekend , through Yelp. He had ideas for me with my upholstery project that I truly appreciated. His price was very good I believe and he completed my project much quicker than I anticipated. Bob assured me, if I wasn't completely satisfied, he'd make it right, whatever needed to be done. Suffice it to say, I am more than satisfied. I will definitely use Bob and Uplift in the future, and in the meantime, I will tell everyone about my great experience. I hope you'll give him a try as well. You won't be sorry. read more

Found Bob and his company on Yelp. Needed a chair reupholstered. He was very responsive providing a quote for labor since I had the fabric. He completed the job when he quoted and it looks great! Perfect for our family room. He and his wife and the dogs were very welcoming and friendly. Clearly a craftsman that takes pride in his work. Though his place might be a little hard to locate I would highly recommend him! I'll definitely go back when I need more work done. read more

I have no idea how their service is because they put me on the calendar and never returned my phone calls or emails. The worst part is I spent time to get the quote and thinking for months that I found somebody to do the work. After our puppy chewed through our couch cushion , we couldn't fathom how difficult and expensive it was going to be to get it repaired. We decided to give Bob at Uplift Upholstery a call and we're sure glad we did. Bob asked for a photo of the damage, and upon inspection informed me he knew exactly what to do. I brought it over and 30 minutes later, it was back to looking like new! Bob was communicative and explained the entire process of the repair to me. Bob said he was happy to do it and invited me back with any other repair needs I may have. Overall it was a very positive experience, and if I ever need upholstery/furniture repair again, I was certainly return to Uplift Upholstery. read more
